Source: Robin Platzer / Getty Warner Wolf Arrested For Defacing Racist Name Of His Gated Community There’s a lot of white folks these days posing as “allies” who at one point enjoyed a little Blackface , but we think we found one that we can believe in. According to TMZ , iconic sportscaster Warner Wolf was arrested at his Naples, Florida (HEY! FINALLY A DECENT HUMAN FROM FLORIDA!) for defacing the sign outside his swanky, private, gated community. Wolf lives in a neighborhood called “Classic Plantation Estates”, a name that he has been lobbying the homeowners association to remove because it’s racist as hell. Heh, good luck convincing white people in Florida that racism is bad. Being that his protest fell on deaf ears, he took matters into his own hands on November 30. Standing in the bougie fountain outside the gates, Wolf chipped away at the “plantation” part until it was removed. Wolf was subsequently arrested and charged with criminal mischief for over $1,000 in damages and was released on $5,000 bond. Salute to a real one.
Image via Peter Dazeley/Getty Lynching “Halloween Decoration” Sparks Controversy In Illinois Neighborhood Why must we go through this every single year? Each Halloween , white folks all across America feel like it’s their opportunity to show just how racist and hateful they are. According to NWITimes , a young girl was on the phone with her mother, Toya Griffin, while walking along her route to school when she came across an effigy of a Black man being hanged in someone’s front yard. Her mother implored her to take a photo in case the owners targeted their home in the future. “She was like, ‘No, no, they’re going to see me taking a picture of this.’ She’s like, ‘I got to walk to school every day,’” Griffin said. Eventually she did take a photo and sent it to her mother who contacted the police. “The hands were tied behind the back. The feet were tied around the ankles,” Griffin said. “It’s the same manner as a lynching.” A police spokesman said that the after speaking to the homeowners, the lynched “decoration” was said to have had a “Jason” mask on initially, but the masked was “stolen” so the character was only a black-faced body resembling a Black man. Momma Griffin also had an issue with the officer who responded because he didn’t see the problem with the hanged “Jason”, to that she responded: “OK, what does Halloween have to do with lynching?” she said. “This is not a scarecrow. This is not a witch.” Checkmate, bacon boy. What DOES Halloween have to do with lynching? We’ll wait…
Rapper Now Owes the IRS And His Housing Association Maybe it’s time for T.I. to hire a new accountant. The rapper/reality star is in more financial trouble for not paying his bills after the IRS slapped him with two federal tax liens earlier this year for more than $4.5 million dollars in unpaid taxes. Now, the rapper is being accused of refusing to pay bills on his Georgia mansion. On December 16th, the Lost Valley Homeowners Association filed a lien against T.I. over him refusing to pay them them his homeowners fees including unpaid and delinquent assessments and other costs totaling $536.97. The lien has been placed against the rapper’s Jonesboro mansion he purchased back in 2006 for $4.2 million. The five bedroom, seven bathroom 10,460 sq. ft. pad has an elevator, greenhouse, hot tub/spa, intercom, security system and tons of other features. The new financial issue wouldn’t seem like a huge deal if the rapper hadn’t already been hit with two federal tax liens back in August, which accuse him of owing taxes for 2012 & 2013 for a total amount of debt owed coming to $4,570,759.86. The feds explained they have demanded the payment from T.I. but the balance remains due to this date – and they say they will be placing the lien against all property and assets the rapper owns. The IRS doesn’t play around with millions of dollars in unpaid taxes and could begin seizing his assets if he doesn’t pay up on the $4.5 million. Continue reading →
W….T…F???? Man Caught Hiding Bras & Panties In Ceiling A Chinese man was recently arrested after authorities say his ceiling collapsed revealing 2,000 pieces of stolen underwear. Mirror.Co.UK reports: A lingerie thief who stole 2,000 pieces of underwear was caught – when the ceiling space he stashed them in collapsed due to the weight. The thief spent a year stealing the knickers from women in his neighbourhood, Chinese media has reported. His unusual crime was laid bare when police display the thousands of items taken on the ground. The display shows the thief took a whole range of underwear during his spree – all sizes, shapes and colours. The incident happened in Yulin city, Guangxi province, and a local resident has been detained by police. The man, surnamed Tang and in his 30s, lives in the residential building and reportedly used a master key to open doors to around 750 households in the residential area. He then crept inside stealing the homeowners’ underwear, Shanghaiist says. The underwear thief has since made a confession, saying that he has had a mental illness since he was young boy, and doesn’t know when his obsession with stealing women’s underwear started, the website added. Zombie foreclosures. This bizarre term refers to a bizarre, little-known but very real horror of the U.S. housing bust that is crippling homeowners coast to coast, six years in. Thousands are finding themselves legally liable for houses they didn’t know they still owned after banks decided it wasn’t worth their while to complete foreclosures. With impunity, banks walk away from foreclosures much the way some homeowners walked away from their mortgages when the housing market first crashed. “The banks are just deciding not to foreclose, even though the homeowners never caught up with their payments,” says Daren Blomquist, vice president at RealtyTrac. Since 2006, 10 million homes have fallen into foreclosure, a number that in earlier, more stable times would have taken nearly two decades to reach. Of those foreclosures, more than 2 million have never come out. In cases where homeowners moved out after receiving notice of a foreclosure sale, thinking they were leaving the house in bank hands, we see the zombie situation. Dozens of housing court judges, code enforcement officials, lawyers and other professionals involved in foreclosures say these titles number in the many thousands. No national databases track zombie titles. “There are thousands of foreclosures in limbo, just hanging out there, just sitting, with nothing being done,” says Cleveland Housing Court Judge Raymond Pianka. The surge is due largely to homes vacated by people who fled before an imminent foreclosure sale, only to learn later that they remain legally responsible for their house. When people move out after receiving a notice of a planned foreclosure sale and the bank then cancels, municipalities are left to deal with the mess. Some spend public funds on securing, cleaning and stabilizing houses that generate no tax revenue. Others let the houses rot, as we’ve seen many times. In at least three states in recent months, houses abandoned by owners and banks alike have exploded because the gas was never shut off. Unsuspecting homeowners nationwide have had their wages garnished, their credit destroyed and their tax refunds seized – all due to zombie titles. They’ve opened their mail to find bills for back taxes, graffiti-scrubbing services, demolition crews, trash removal, gutter repair, exterior cleaning and lawn clipping. At their front doors they’ve encountered bailiffs brandishing summonses. In some cities, people with zombie titles can be sentenced to probation – with the threat of jail if they don’t bring their houses into compliance. If you think this could be happening to you, or for more information on this dubious but very real situation, continue reading this foreclosure explanation .
Ohio Woman Breaks Into House, Cleans And Leaves Bill Behind An Ohio woman who suddenly got the urge to clean someone else’s home uninvited was recently charged with attempted burglary. The woman broke into the home, cleaned it and then left a bill behind for the family. via ABC News A family in Westlake, Ohio, was not delighted when a “cleaning fairy” came into their home uninvited, did some chores and left a $75 bill behind on a napkin. The Chronicle-Telegram said that Susan Warren, 53, drove by the home last May 22 and “wanted something to do.” She entered the home in the early morning hours, washed coffee cups, took out the trash, vacuumed and dusted, all while the homeowners’ 19-year old daughter slept upstairs, according to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office. Last week, Warren pleaded guilty to one count of attempted burglary in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. Her sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 26. Neither Warren nor her attorney could be reached for comment. “She left a note for the homeowner on a napkin, stating that she had cleaned the residence and left a bill for $75,” Maria Russo, a spokeswoman for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office, said in a statement. Warren, of Elyria, Ohio, left her name, address and phone number on the napkin. Nothing was stolen from the house, the Prosecutor’s Office said. NFL Player Sued For Destroying $2 Million Dollar Rental We know celebrities, professional athletes, and the like have a tendency to wild out and trash isht sometimes, but this is gross! Seattle Seahawk Kellen Winslow Junior is accused of destroying a Rancho Santa Fe home he and his wife rented last year, according to a lawsuit. The lawsuit, filed recently by the homeowners Ahmad and Nona Zarei, alleged Winslow Jr. of ruining $381,000 of furniture, rugs, and designer drapes. “This is a standard shakedown of a professional athlete,” said Winslow Jr.’s attorney Brian Watkins. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneer rented the home, located at the 17,100 block of Camino Acampo in Rancho Santa Fe, from January 2011 to June 2011 for $9,000 a month. The home is estimated to be worth about $2 million. The homeowners accused Winslow Jr. of leaving the home smelling like dog urine and feces. It alleged the home had a “putrid stench of animal waste.” “I don’t believe there was any damage. They said house smelled of urine. I did two walk-throughs and could not smell anything,” said Watkins. “That’s their motivation. They think they’ll get that from a professional athlete and it’s not going to happen.” Fox 5 contacted homeowner’s realtor, who also conducted the final walk-through. She said there was minor damage, nowhere near the estimated amount claimed in the lawsuit. Fox 5 contacted the homeowner and his attorney. Neither one returned the calls for comment. SMH if it’s true this guy and his wife are some nasty muhfuggas!!! Source
