As I said a few days ago, the music scene is garbage. Every artist sounds the same and most do not use real instruments. I didn’t know this, but M adison Beer has a music video out and it’s not good at all. Can you say “autotune”? I don’t know why they keep using this effect, but I guess Cher is to blame for it. It’s a good thing that Madison is hot, but if you want to hear real talent this is where it’s at . Best song I’ve heard from a female artist in months!

Beyonce Performs "XO" for First Time: Watch Now!

For fans in Chicago, Friday the 13th proved to be awfully lucky this year. That’s because they attended a Beyonce concert in the United Center and were treated to the first-ever live performance of “XO,” one of the 14 new tracks that make up this singer’s just-released self-titled album. “I’m going to sing this song, which is a brand new song. It hasn’t even been out for two days. I wanna sing this one for y’all because it was written for y’all,” Beyonce told fans before launching into the rendition. Watch it now: Beyonce – “XO” (Live) The surprise release of Beyonce’s eponymous album on Thursday sold more than 430,000 copies in just over a day. It’s on pace to move around 600,000 copies in its first week, which would make “BEYONCE” the biggest debuting album by a female artist this year. The album is also projected to be the highest-selling debut album by a female artist since Taylor Swift ’s “Red,” which sold 1.2 million copies in 2012. Bow down to Queen B, music universe. It’s her world right now. The rest of us are just living in it.

American Country Awards 2013: List of Winners!

The 2013 American Country Awards were handed out last night in Las Vegas, hosted by Trace Adkins and Danica Patrick and featuring plenty of laughs and entertainment. LeAnn Rimes (below), Justin Moore, Randy Houser, Thomas Rhett, Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, Florida Georgia Line and Jake Owen offered performances live. LeAnn Rimes American Country Awards Performance Luke Bryan became the first winner of the night by taking home the award for Male Country Music artist, then set a record with 12 ACA prizes career. Meanwhile, Florida Georgia Line scored six out of the seven awards they were nominated for, including New Artist of the Year and Single of the Year. Shelton snagged the award for Single by a Male Artist and the honor of Album of the Year, while American Idol’s Scotty McCreery won Breakthrough Artist. Jason Kidd Fined $50K For Spilling Drink On Court

Jason Kidd’s off-the-court antics have once again taken a chunk out of his salary. The Brooklyn Nets coach suspiciously spilled his drink at the tail end of November 27′s loss against the Los Angeles Lakers to delay the game , and it seems like the NBA isn’t buying his claims of innocence. They actually sent him a bill for $50,000 instead. Reports USA Today: The league said the fine was “for intentionally spilling a drink on the floor to delay the game.

Have we mentioned recently how much we adore Robert Pattinson? The actor stopped by George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight yesterday and was his usual funny, humble, self-deprecating self, opening up about Cosmopolis ; his (failed) attempt at the Cannes Film Festival to not sound like a “douchebag;” and his recent fight with Adele. Wait… what?!? “I had this argument with Adele , which is probably the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever said,” Pattinson tells the host in the video below. “[I told her] you know, you can just really reach for it!! And she was like, ‘You do realize, I’m, like, the biggest-selling female artist ever.’ And for some reason, I decided to get into an argument with her about it… “”Then [I was] waking up kind of really, really regretting every word I said.” Robert Pattinson on George Stroumboulopoulos Today
