Ginuwine Responds To Leaked Photo Let us all take a moment to reminisce on the good ole days, when we referred to Ginuwine as Genufine and fantasized about his pony while watching his greasy chiseled abs gyrate in music videos when they had budgets. Ah. Good times. Little did we know, Ginufine was actually hung […]
Stephen A. Smith Tells Black Students ‘Racism Doesn’t Exist’ Stephen A. Smith has been walking that fine line between absurdity and Uncle Tom-levels for a while now and it’s quite possible he just crossed that line. Here’s what he told a group of Black students in Alabama: “Racism doesn’t exist. Obviously, I’m lying. Of course it exists, but not for you. See, you don’t have to go to the back of the bus. You’re not denied the opportunity to eat at restaurants, or to enter night clubs, or to patronize businesses. You have the right to vote. You’re not being lynched. You’re not being hung,” Smith said, according to USA’s student newspaper, The Vanguard which recorded the speech. He went on to acknowledge that older black students do suffer from racism. “You’re older, you know I’m not talking about you. But youngsters, you need to understand that white folks got problems, too. Some of them can’t pay their bills. Some of them are struggling. Some of them are being denied opportunities. And you need to understand that, because when people are going through their own problems, they are not going to lament what your trials and tribulations are.” Um…what? He followed all of this up with this tweet: My MESSAGE to the youngsters: You don't get to use racism as an excuse why you can't succeed. — Stephen A Smith (@stephenasmith) March 3, 2016 Sir. If you don’t getcho…you know what? Never mind. We’ll just let the tweets do the dragging.
Funniest part to us is… Tyrese has more money than both these guys put together . While Ginuwine is singing at Quinceañera’s for $250 and a carne asada burrito, Tyrese is making movies with a Starbucks in his backyard. Sidenote: Is that baby hair Ginuwine is rocking? Come on!
Interesting. Though the trio is apparently done for good over Tyrese’s refusal to share equally with his “brothers,” a rep for Tyrese says that the singer always had the highest pay, and simply wasn’t interested in a change of terms. Via TMZ: A rep for Tyrese says the group’s money was never split equally because the economic fact is Tyrese has had more chart success on his own. The rep did not deny money was behind the breakup. On a personal level … the rep said Tyrese still considers Tank and Ginuwine his brothers, but “business is business.” Welp. For those holding out hope for TGT to reunite, you can pretty much chalk this group as a fond memory. We wonder why Tyrese made it seem like a Ginuwine thing in the beginning… TMZ
