Fiji Water Girl and now she’s suing them dry. Cuthbert was catapulted to fame at this year’s Gold Globe Awards when her good looks and flawless water bottle posing made it’s way into celebrity pictures. Her photobomb status was cemented in awards show history , and Fiji water had a new face to make their product go viral. However, Fiji Water allegedly went too far when they started using life-sized cut-outs of Cuthbert’s image in stores. According to TMZ , Cuthbert is suing Fiji for creating cutouts of her at the Golden Globes without her permission, one of which, ironically, photobombed John Legend at an L.A. grocery store. Cuthbert, whose real name is Kelly Steinbach, said Fiji tried to coax her into signing away her rights. Though she did a mock video with the company, Cuthbert said she never actually inked a real deal, and it was all for show. Steinbach says the cardboard cutouts of herself started showing up around L.A., including the one involving John Legend. She said her viral moment generated up to $12 million in brand exposure, and now she wants in on the cash. Fiji is calling BS though. A rep told TMZ , “This lawsuit is frivolous and entirely without merit. After the Golden Globes social media moment, we negotiated a generous agreement with Ms. Cuthbert that she blatantly violated. We are confident that we will prevail in court. Throughout our history, we have had a sterling reputation working with talent.” Eesh. When friends become enemies. There’s no word on the exact amount Cuthbert is asking for. But hey, you can’t be mad at her for trying to get her paper.

The Game is not playing around. In a new track he debuted at a listening party last Thursday night, the rapper certainly hinted at a sexual past with … Kylie Jenner?!? The artist, of course, made headlines for this same single over the weekend when it came out that a few lyrics in the same make explicit references to his history with Kylie’s half-sister, Kim Kardashian. And we mean EXPLICIT references. “I held Kim Kardashian by the throat, n-gga,” The Game states in this song, according to a recording from the aforementioned party. He also hilariously/disgustingly/actually says: “I made her swallow my kids until she choked , n-gga.” The Game is saying here that Kim orally pleasured him until he ejaculated in her mouth and she swallowed his semen; just in case you weren’t certain why this line has been creating so much chatter online. The man has a way with words that may get him murdered by Kanye West , doesn’t he? As for what The Game also rapped about Kylie in this same single? “Her sister made a billion in makeup/I used to make her frosted flakes when she wakes up,” he can be heard saying in a video posted by DJ Akademiks. That certainly sounds a lot more innocent on the surface. But is The Game not basically saying here that he also slept with Jenner? What’s the alternative interpretation, that he served as Kylie’s nanny for a period of time? In 2016, The Game did rap about f-cking three Kardashian sisters . He later made it sound as if he meant Kim, Khloe and Blac Chyna, who was pregnant and engaged to Rob at that time. Considering Kylie is 21 years old… and that The Game was bringing up previous sexual conquests about three years ago… there’s nearly no chance she would have been of legal age back when the musician is claiming to have bedded her. So The Game may want to be a bit careful here. It’s funny (to us) for him to bring up Kim and Kylie in this manner. But it’s actually a serious and illegal matter if he really did have sex with, like, a 14-year old Kylie Jenner. The thing is, Kylie alleged in September of last year that she had only just tried cereal with milk for the first time . Granted, The Game does not specify in his song that he poured milk on to Jenner’s Frosted Flakes — but that seems to be the implication when he claims that he would “make” it for her. Was Kylie trying to get out ahead of this Game rumor back when she made this odd admission? Did she know it would be coming and she therefore opened up about her history with cereal in order to plant a seed of doubt in folks, knowing The Game would eventually bring up this exact topic? Source: bortonia / Getty Durham, NC Minister And Activist Proposes Black Community Self Segregate For BHM Here’s an interesting proposition — for 28 days — the entire month of February , one activist is suggesting that the black community turn our focus on supporting black owned businesses and educating black youth about black history and culture. “We need to build a wall around Black culture,” Paul Scott a Durham NC minister and activist, said via a release sent to BOSSIP. Scott believes that Black people were better off socially, politically and economically better off during the era of segregation. Scott, who gained national recognition for his comments in a 2018 NY Times article about gentrification whitening Durham , NC also argues that black history has been whitewashed to make white Americans more comfortable. He also believes that the Black movement for social equality has been hijacked by other groups. “Everyone has benefited from our tears and pain except us,” says Scott. Do you agree or disagree? Sad news out of the food world today, as beloved Top Chef star Fatima Ali has passed away at the age of 29. Ali had been battling Ewing Sarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer, since 2017. News of Chef Fatima’s passing was confirmed today by the Bravo network. “We are deeply saddened to share the news that Fatima Ali has lost her courageous battle with cancer,” said a representative. “Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time. “People not only fell in love with her cooking, but fell in love with her personality and heart. We hope that the beautiful memories shared with her will provide comfort to everyone who knew and loved her.” Ali underwent surgery to remove a tumor last year, and she told People magazine that she was “technically cancer-free” while attending the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen last July. Ali seemed to suspect that her battle was far from over, and sadly, she was right. In October of 2018, Ali revealed that her cancer had returned with a vengeance in a heartbreaking article for Bon Appetit . “The cancer cells my doctors believed had vanished are back with a vengeance in my left hip and femur bone,” Fatima wrote, adding that doctors had given her “a year to live, with or without the new chemotherapy regimen.” She opted out of the chemo and instead devoted her final months to experiencing as much of life as she possibly could in the short time she had remaining. “I am desperate to overload my senses in the coming months, making reservations at the world’s best restaurants, reaching out to past lovers and friends, and smothering my family, giving them the time that I so selfishly guarded before,” Ali wrote. “I was looking forward to being 30, flirty, and thriving. Guess I have to step it up on the flirting. I have no time to lose.” A favorite among fans and colleagues on Top Chef , Ali received an outpouring of support from her co-stars after revealing her diagnosis, and now, past and current contestants are paying loving tribute to an incredible talent who was taken much too soon. “It’s with a heavy heart we say goodbye to Fatima Ali today, as she has lost her battle with cancer. I will miss you Fati, and you will be in my heart forever,” fellow chef Bruce Kalman wrote along with the above photo. “I’ll always remember the great times we had, especially our interview during the tailgating episode discussing football, stadiums, and Taylor Swift. Much love, Bruce.” Our thoughts go out to Chef Fatima’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time She will be greatly missed by many.

Just over two months since her shocking death, we now know why Kim Porter passed away . The model, actress and ex-girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs died of lobar pneumonia, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner announced on Friday. The manner of death has been certified as natural. Porter shared three children with the music mogual and remained a very close part of his life, long after the pair split up as a couple. Porter had only just wished Diddy as happy birthday days before she suddenly died. For those wondering, meanwhile… “Lobar pneumonia (pneumonia) is an infection of the lung caused by bacteria,” the official report reads, explaining further: “Immune cells invade the air spaces (where oxygen is taken in), and this is accompanied with necrosis (death of cells). Pneumonia decreases the lungs ability to take in oxygen, and over time it can cause sudden death.” According to this same report, Porter went to the doctor days before she died with “cold/flu-like symptoms.” A nurse also visited her home and gave her “saline solution with vitamins.” An autopsy was completed on Porter a day after she was found dead in her home on November 15. However, her death certificate previously stated her cause of death as “deferred” and the manner of death as “pending investigation.” The toxicology report says there were no narcotic drugs or alcohol in her system. She was 47 years old. Porter was buried in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia on November 24. In audio made public from Diddy’s moving eulogy , the rapper opened up about his relationship with Porter and vowed to keep her memory alive forever. “I just want to say to my kids, Justin, Christian, D’Lila, Jessie, Chance and the other man in the house, Quincy: Your mother instilled in me this, and I pledge in front of everybody right now that I will always be there for you,” he said, adding: I will always take care of you. Diddy and Porter broke up for good way back in 2007. But they remained on such close terms over the years that they never even agreed to a formal custody arrangement. They were vital parts of each other’s lives up until the day Kim died. Quipped Diddy in his eulogy: “To the girls especially, we about to enter some different type of times. I want you to be able to talk to me about everything, and I mean everything, and I mean everything.” He continued later on: “Kim, we gonna miss you so much. But I ain’t gonna miss you too much because I’m not gonna let your voice inside of me stop talking. “I know you like to talk to me a lot once you get on those rants, and I just want you to know I’m gonna be listening.” And he concluded: “As time went on, our relationship took so many different changes, from being boyfriend and girlfriend to being lovers to being best friends to being just straight-up homies, like somebody that you know you can count on. “We just love y’all, we appreciate y’all, appreciate the family. To all the words that I’m forgetting, to anything I’m forgetting to say, we love you, Kim.”

Yeezus Christ, you guys. The Game just went there. By which we mean the following: The Game just rapped in explicit, graphic, almost abusive detail about all the ways in which he used to have sex with Kim Kardashian. At a listening party on Thursday night, the artist debuted an untitled song in which she delved deeply into his history with Mrs. Kanye West… … by talking all about how she used to take him deep. In her mouth, we mean. “I held Kim Kardashian by the throat, n-gga,” he says at one point, according to a party attendee who recorded snippets of this track on video. “I made her swallow my kids until she choked, n-gga,” he actually says at another point. To those of you who aren’t sure what this second line means, well… ask your friends or go use Google or something. Following these ridiculously intimate lines about Kardashian, The Game acknowledges her husband on the song and raps “I should apologize cause Ye my folks, n-gga.” Even if he were serious, it somehow seems here like The Game is way past the point of an apology here. We doubt Kanye would accept. This isn’t the first time the musician has used his past with Kim and/or her sisters to garner headlines, either. He rapped that he “ f-cked three Kardashians ” in his song “Sauce” and then told Wendy Williams during an appearance on her talk show: “You know what, this is what I’ll say. I’ll tell you this. Kanye is a really good friend of mine. “And they got really, really beautiful kids, and I don’t want to disrespect their family.” Again, dude: We’re pretty sure it’s way too late for that. (For the record, meanwhile, The Game clarified to Williams that he had slept with Kim and Khloe and Blac Chyna , saying this back when the latter was expecting Rob Kardashian’s baby.) Last year, Kanye went off on Drake via Twitter merely because that artist followed his wife on Instagram.’ West was simply aghast over this fact. “I never knew till this morning that Drake followed my wife on Instagram back in September,” he wrote in the a since-deleted tweet, adding at the time: “Imagine having a problem with somebody and they follow your wife on Instagram.” That is hard to imagine. Even harder to imagine? How we’d react if a fellow rapper described to the world how he used to give it to our now-wife in various ways. Like, REALLY give it to our wife, you know?
