XXXTentacion Excluded From Grammys’ “In Memoriam” Segment Due To Violent Past: Report

See the original post here:

Source: Miami Herald / Getty XXXTentacion was noticeably left out of the 2019 Grammys’ “In Memoriam” segment over the weekend. It seems the Recording Academy caught wind of the rappers’ violent past and decided against including him. “According to a source, representatives for the late rapper requested repeatedly that the Recording Academy recognize the artist, whose ‘Sad!’ was one of the most consumed songs of 2018,” Variety states. “But because of the rapper’s history of domestic violence, the show opted not to include him alongside such acts as Avicii and Mac Miller.” At the time of his death XXXTentacion had been prepping for trial following accusations that he beat his pregnant ex-girlfriend . Additionally, he was facing charges for witness tampering and harassment. A tape, in which he confesses to a crap load of violence,  leaked  in October. Back in December, Recording Academy president Neil Portnow responded to Rolling Stone ‘s question about whether or not XXXTentacion would be included in their “In Memoriam” segment. “I will tell you it’s a daunting challenge. We track those that we lose in our industry in any given year and then we have a process by which we go through it. Our on-air in memoriam — we’re lucky if we wind up [featuring] 10 to 15 percent of those we lose,” he told the publication. “Because it’s always hard choices. All of that is to say, I don’t have any answers for you now, but obviously artists who were prominent and well-known by the public are people who are recognized and we’ll just wind up having to see how it plays out.” Was it the right call? Vicki Gunvalson: DEMOTED to "Friend" of the Real Housewives!

This is without question the single biggest shakeup in the history of The Real Housewives of Orange County . Maybe of any Real Housewives show. At first, this particular round of cast turmoil rumors sounded particularly absurd, as they often are, but they haven't gone away. Multiple media reports and accounts from the cast itself indicates that the OG of the OC herself, Vicki Gunvalson, has been demoted. She'll be returning as a “Friend” of the Housewives instead of as a full Housewife, but for Vicki of all people, that's a shocking move. Take a look at how and why it went down … 1. Vicki Gunvalson at Home It has been widely rumored that Vicki Gunvalson has been demoted to a mere “Friend” of the Housewives. 2. This is a big effing deal Vicki is THE OG Housewife. When she loses her orange, so to speak, Tamra Judge will be the longest-running Housewife. Can you live with that? Can you sleep with that on your conscience? Because Bravo apparently can. 3. Kelly Dodd is beside herself with glee “Well, I cannot confirm nor deny,” Kelly Dodd said in response to Jeff Lewis’ question on Jeff Lewis Live, Flipping Out. “However, that’s the word on the street.” 4. Jeff Lewis took Kelly’s statement as a confirmation So, she’s been demoted,” Jeff, who is also feuding with Vicki, replies. “Vicki Gunvalson has been demoted. I think the way she’s behaved and the things she has done, she doesn’t deserve our respect. And I’m glad she was demoted.” 5. Vicki took to Twitter to dismiss it all as just rumors “Unless you hear it from me, then it’s simply a rumor,” Vicki insists. “I am in negotiations.” Vicki later adds: “I’m the only one who knows really what is going on.” 6. First of all, that’s not a denial And second of all? Bravo is already filming The Real Housewives of Orange County. So if Vicki is still in negotiations, she’s not filming, which means that they’re filming without her. That’s not great. View Slideshow

Superhero Guide To Black History Month: Travis Scott

Email Submit Civilian Name : Travis Scott Super Name : Astro Superpower : Flight Origin : Hiphop Conquered Territory : Travis Scott gave us insight on his plans to expand a few years ago when he rapped, “I be flying high, shawty, I be flying high.” So it was no surprise when the accolades started rolling in globally…   Back in the day when his Houston hometown got rid of his favorite amusement park, AstroWorld, the rapper turned to hiphop for fun and launched a music career that has literally taken him around the world to share stages with artists like Rihanna, Future, Drake, Maroon 5 and more. Fittingly, he named his 2018 album (which soured to no. 1 on Billboard charts) after the demise of the city’s staple attraction and it provided a deeper look into what inspired his most recent moves most, outside of the birth of he and Kylie Jenner’s baby girl , Stormi.   With a passion for arts and kids, Travis founded the AstroWorld Music Festival which takes place across the street from the old park and aims to “bring back the beloved spirit and nostalgia of AstroWorld,” making a childhood dream of his come true as he shares the magic with Houston residents and visitors. In addition, he recently donated $100,000 to an after-school creative arts and education non-profit organization in Texas called Workshop Houston. He also designed the senior shirts for his city’s Eisenhower High School (per the request of the kids) and made a deal with the NFL to donate $500,000 to the “social justice accelerator” Dream Corps upon accepting the league’s offer to perform at Super Bowl LIII Where to next? Claudia Shows Her Tits of the Day

I think one of the least attractive names in the history of names is Claudia…so I try not to look at these Claudia tits and think that they are named Claudia tits…because it’s the least attractive names in History. That said…. Claudia, if that’s even her real name, who doesn’t have a last name, so I can’t find her on instagram to Judge her and her life choices, is posing in what I am sure she considers art, totally naked, for some pervert who baited her in cuz he wanted to control her poses and stare at her pussy….and not be deemed a pervert…it’s a photographer thing… Is getting all dramatic with her in bed poses, showing her personality, her soul, her inner inspirations…and by all that I mean her tits…these are just an excuse to show off some great tits…and any excuse for that is a friend of mine…even if she’s not my friend and will probably send an email asking me to take it all down.
