Anderson ‘s adaptation of The Three Musketeers came and went pretty quickly when it hit theaters last fall, a fate that star Milla Jovovich blamed on the distributor ‘s handling of the movie, not the quality of the film itself (did we mention she’s married to the director?). If anyone knows any celebrity bodyguards, Lindsay Lohan is in the market. Her brush with a stalker yesterday lit a fire under her. After some random guy showed up and was arrested at her L.A. home, LiLo’s looking to beef up security. That means surveillance cameras and even a bodyguard on the payroll. The actress loves her Venice Beach house, but with randoms walking right up to her front door, she’s convinced it’s time to invest in some extra security . On top of adding additional security cameras, Lindsay wants to hire a full-time bodyguard to stay with her for a period of time until she feels safe again. With Lindsay’s Playboy photos netting her nearly $1M, she can afford it. Also eerie? The man arrested for trespassing outside her house, Lonnie Short, shares a bizarre connection with Lindsay’s former stalker David Cocordan. According to sources, when Short knocked on Lohan’s door, he announced he was friends with David and needed to explain some things. Beyond creepy. If you’ve been wondering why Octomom Nadya Suleman’s Facebook, Twitter, and Ustream accounts have all been suddenly deleted … you need to get out more. Seriously, why are you following her. In any case, it’s because the mother of 14 has been dropped by her management team. The reason being: Nads is a flake who is notoriously unreliable. Shocker. Nadya Suleman “would find any reason” to cancel last minute, often claiming she couldn’t find a babysitter, according to sources close to the famous mom. This after her management team would book her some actual paying gigs – which can’t be an easy feat considering they’re repping a Z-list celebrity here. The interesting thing is that Octomom was actually raking in some real cash with appearances and different celebrity events for the better part of last year. Until she wasn’t. Getting her to work the past few months has been like pulling teeth for whatever reason, so now-former manager Gina Rodriquez bailed. “I quit because she is unmanageable. She would not reply to anything work-related we would call or text about especially if it was not paid,” she said. “Regardless of the $70k we made her, she still claimed to not be able to pay bills. Movie fans should prepare to be scared again in 2012. Paramount announced yesterday that it had green lighted Paranormal Activity 4 , an approval that should not come as a shock, considering the wild success of this franchise’s third installment. It earned over $200 million worldwide after opening in late October. Paranormal Activity 3 Trailer The first Paranormal Activity cost a measly $15,00 to produce, opened in September 2009 and went on to garner $193 million. The price on the second rose to $3 million to produce, but was easily justified by its $177.5 box office haul. No release date has been set for Paranormal Activity 4 , but expect it to hit theaters some time in the fall again.

It doesn’t hit theaters until August 2012, but the first trailer for ParaNorman , Focus’s animated followup to 9 and Coraline , is a playful stop-motion glimpse into the mind of a boy (Kodi Smit-McPhee) who can speak to the dead. He’s called upon when his town comes under zombie siege. Thus far, it looks about as droll and fun as James and the Giant Peach , which is about the best compliment I can give.

Years before Guillermo del Toro made a name for himself with dark box office hits like Blade II , Pan’s Labyrinth and Hellboy , Miramax gave the director a $30 million budget to film the insect horror film Mimic . At the time of its 1997 release, del Toro distanced himself from the studio-manipulated sci-fi flick — about a killer strain of bugs created by a well-meaning entomologist (Mira Sorvino) — but on September 27, Lionsgate releases a director’s cut Blu-ray of which del Toro finally approves. MGM’ s remake of Red Dawn has been languishing on the shelf for ages now, seeking a new home — and it looks like it found one in FilmDistrict, who is reportedly making a deal to release the film. The action pic, which cast up-and-comers like Chris Hemsworth, Isabel Lucas, Adrienne Palicki, and Josh Hutcherson before theirs stars began rising in the last few years, will likely hit theaters in 2012 featuring the altered plotline involving evil North Korean invaders.
