John Stamos will be charged with driving under the influence of GHB, also known as the date rape drug, according to sources close to the situation. News of John Stamos’ DUI arrest broke months ago, but charges are just being filed this week, and sources close to the actor say he has a defense: He was using the drug as a fitness supplement. Supposedly. The former Full House cast member who ages laterally was arrested in June when he was spotted driving erratically in Beverly Hills, Calif. Authorities say Stamos was so out of it, he had to be taken to the hospital, where testing revealed he was under the influence of GHB. Another non-narcotic drug was also in his system. Stamos sources say he was taking the drug to “lean out body mass” as he prepared for his new show, which sounds hokey, but could be true. The drug is frequently used by bodybuilders for lean muscle, and also to obtain a level of sleep which allows muscles to optimally recover. Charges will be formally filed against the Grandfathered and Fuller House star this week which should formally outline all of these details. For what it’s worth, Stamos went to rehab almost immediately after his DUI arrest and completed his 30-day live-in treatment successfully.

It’s official: Snoop Dogg likes police in Texas far more than police in Sweden. The rapper – who posed with a Texas State trooper in April – was arrested overseas on Saturday after Swedish authorities said the artist “seemed to be under the influence of narcotics” while inside a car that has been pulled over. Snoop Dogg Blasts Police for Racial Profiling The police confirm that Snoop Dogg took a urine test and claim the results will not be back for another two weeks. But Snoop quickly took to Instagram after the incident and made it clear he thinks the arrest was based on the color of his skin, not the contents of his blood stream. “What up, it’s Snoop Dogg,” the star says in the online video. “I know a lot of y’all are concerned about me. I made it through. They took me down there, made me pee in a cup, didn’t find s–t, no case, no nothing. But it’s better to be searched and not found with nothing than not to be searched at all. “F–k y’all.” The arrest took place in the town of Uppsala, shortly after Snoop played a concert there. Snoop Dogg has numerous drug arrests on his record and has never been shy about his affection for Mary Jane (below)… so it does seem hard to believe he’d deny drug use in this kind of adamant fashion if he wasn’t being truthful. Donovan McNabb Arrested For DUI Former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb got popped for yet another DUI over the weekend. Via ESPN : Former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb has been arrested in Arizona on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol for the second time in 18 months, according to police documents released Tuesday. Police in the Phoenix suburb of Gilbert said McNabb was cited and released from a police facility after being arrested June 28 following a non-injury collision late that night. McNabb, 38, told officers he had just left a sports bar and was driving to his Phoenix-area home. A police report stated McNabb’s vehicle rear-ended a car driven by the wife of a Gila River tribal police officer and McNabb appeared to be impaired. “While Donovan spoke, I noticed a strong, fruity odor on his breath. I noticed Donovan’s eyes were watery and very bloodshot and his speech was slurred,” a Gilbert officer wrote in his report. The officer said he asked McNabb how much alcohol he had to drink. “Nothing,” McNabb said, according to the police report, adding that he had a cold and was taking a cough syrup and eating two cough drops. The officer made McNabb spit out the cough drops and gave him a battery of tests, noting six signs of impairment. McNabb “was not able to stand without visibly swaying back and forth and side to side in a rotational pattern,” the report said. Police said a blood sample was sent to the Mesa Police Crime Lab for analysis. The results haven’t been released. SMH! Sounds like it may be time for McNabb to seek some help.
