One Direction has officially moved on from Zayn Malik. Granted, Zayn Malik quit the group a couple weeks ago, prompting outrage, shock and general sadness from millions of young women around the globe. But the boy band has only just now released its brand new poster for its On the Road Again; it’s an image that features One Direction as a quartet for the first time… ever It gets a tad easier to forget that Malik is gone when you’re staring at the handsome faces of Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, huh? “It’s been a tough few weeks, probably the toughest since the band was formed five years ago,” Payne told The Sun last week. “We’re gutted that Zayn chose to leave , but now after a few performances as a four piece, we’re feeling confident and are determined to carry on stronger than ever.” The group will also be releasing its fifth studio album in the near future, with Tomlinson promising fans that 1D is “going to work harder than ever to deliver the best album we’ve ever made for you guys!” Last night, producer Simon Cowell (who discovered One Direction on Britain’s Got Talent) said Malik has to get “his head together a bit,” while also promising that his former colleagues will keep working together “for a long time.” View Slideshow: Zayn Malik Quits One Direction: The Funniest Web Reactions
Kim Kardashian has shared a new family photo from her ongoing trip to Armenia . The reality star is on vacation in her ancestral country ahead of the 100th anniversary of the genocide executed by the Ottoman Turks of more than 1.5 million Armenians from 1915 to 1923. She most recently spent time there with husband Kanye and daughter North, exploring a monastery and marveling over a bright orb-like mass in the center of a stone church “Blessed,” Kim simply wrote as a caption to the following image. On Thursday, Kim, Khloe Kardashian and their two cousins Kara and Kourti (really, they have two cousins named Kara and Kourti) met with Armenia’s Prime Minister . Wrote Kardashian of the sit-down: “It was an honor to meet the Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan who expressed how proud they are that we are proud Armenians and we have not forgotten our roots! #NeverForget.” The relatives later stopped for pictures at the Mother Armenia statue. “This statue reminds visitors of the strong female figures in Armenian history. I love how powerful women are and respected so much in our culture,” Kim Tweeted of the monument. The Kardashians have vowed to continue spreading awareness about the genocide long after their trip concludes, which we can only presume Kim plans on doing by snapping selfies of her large boobs a lot. Kate Gosselin has been giving a lot of interviews lately, which means, of course, that she’s been trash-talking the father of her children like it’s her job (which we guess it sort of is). Over the years, Kate has become a master of subtle shade-throwing, and while she used to just let her feelings be known in shrill tirades, now she neuters her victims one tiny snip at a time. Earlier this week Kate said her kids lack a male role model , which would be tough for any dad to hear. (Although Jon just became a DJ at age 38, so she may have a point.) Today, Kate doubled-down on those comments, claiming that the main reason Jon sucks as a role model is that some of his kids never even see him! “Some of the kids visit, some don’t,” Kate said in an interview with E! News. “That’s for the best. There were many tears. Things that happened with my divorce were hurtful. I’m definitely a no-regrets kind of person. I’ve always done the best with what I had.” Gotta love that ability to take a question about the kids and make it all about her, right? The whole interview is pretty damn funny, and definitely worth a read. At one point Kate says her celeb crush is Patrick Dempsey (Good luck with that one), but the real highlight is when she’s asked to describe herself: “People think I’m mean and b-tchy,” Kate says, presumably with a straight face and no trace of irony. “But I’m actually pretty laid back, and I don’t have an ego!” (See what we mean about the lying?) Mere hours after delivering her newborn son Israel David Dillard, Jill Duggar’s video introduction of the baby confirmed that “not everything went as expected.” Does that mean she had a hospital c-section instead of a natural home birth? The Duggars’ views on many subjects could be considered old-fashioned, one can ever accuse this family of failing Marketing, PR and Social Media 101. Jill, 23, a midwife in training, planned to deliver #BabyDilly at home in March. The wife of Derick Dillard, 25, went almost two weeks past her due date , however, and in the video above, she can be seen donning a medical bracelet. Fans quickly speculated that Jill not only gave birth in the hospital, but underwent a cesarean section, or c-section, during her unplanned visit there. Israel Dillard came into the world weighing in at a whopping 9 lbs., 10 oz. to boot, furthering the theory that it he had to enter the world via major surgery. That birth weight, while not unprecedented, would make a vaginal birth a challenge to be sure. Not like it hasn’t been done, but that’s a large infant. Then there’s the fact that Israel looked no worse for the wear afterward. “I’m going to guess he was a c-section by his nicely shaped head,” one Duggar family fan guessed, also noting that Derick has scrubs on in one photo: “I’ve never known the fathers to wear scrubs during a vaginal birth.” It will be interesting to see when this plays out on TLC next month. In a double dose of 19 Kids and Counting Tuesday night, expectant first-time parents Jill and Derick Dillard continued their preparations for the birth of #BabyDilly. Appropriate, given that after nearly 42 weeks of pregnancy, Jill Duggar gave birth to a health baby boy not even 24 hours before the episodes aired! See below for the first photos of Israel David Dillard , her first child with husband Derick. For now, let’s break down what happened on the TLC series … Watch 19 Kids and Counting Season 15 Episode 11 Online TLC kicked off the hour with 19 Kids and Counting Season 15 Episode 11 , in which a gender reveal party for Jill and Derick’s future baby was organized. The birth of Israel came just in time, too. Jill’s pregnancy dragged on so long that the newest Duggar’s name was almost given away by the reality show! Derick revealed they had the name Israel David picked out a long time ago, even if they (obviously) kept that detail out of all their Instagram updates. If the youngster were a girl, she would be going by Saleah right now. Pretty. When the Duggars welcome a new baby, an older “buddy team” is assigned to him or her so that they can bond with that child and look out for them. Baby Dilly’s buddy team: Jason, 14, Jennifer, 7, and Joy-Anna Duggar, 17. They found out the gender first, along with Jill and Derick. The rest of the family learned it via a pinata, filled with blue candies as opposed to pink. For all the things not allowed in the Duggar family , they love a good party! The sweetest part of the episode? Cathy Dillard, Derick’s mom, received the gender news from Derick’s brother, Dan, who drove 450 miles to tell her. Recovering from a cancer treatment in Omaha, Nebraska, that must have been the nicest surprise anyone could’ve given her … even if she wanted a girl. Jill reflected on the fact that she was 25 weeks pregnant, which is how far along Michelle Duggar was when she prematurely gave birth to Josie-Brooklyn. Michelle, of course, was in her mid-40s and had 18 kids at the time. Anything can happen, Jill’s right, but the odds of her experiencing anything similar were much slimmer. Just the same, the Dillards paid very close attention. Meanwhile, with Jessa Duggar married to Ben Seewald and out of the house, the Duggar household needed organizing … and someone to organize the Duggars. Each child has a “designation,” or set of chores they are always responsible for, and with Jessa gone, Joy-Anna Duggar was designated as the designator. That did not make her the most popular Duggar on this night. One of the Duggar boys said it best when it comes to chores, and which areas of the house are coveted: “The best jurisdiction … I don’t think there is one.” Fair point, although some options have to be less terrible than others.
