James Beard Awards is celebrated to commemorate the American chef and food writer James Andrew Beard. He was born on May 5, 1903 and died on January 21, 1985. He was the man behind the introduction of French food in America. He had also established Gourmet American Food Identity and was an expert of American Style Gourmet Cooking. The James Beard Awards 2010 was held last night. In the ceremony, top level chefs attended the celebration and awards were given to them based on their work performance. James Beard Awards 2010 ceremony started on May 2 and finished on May 3.
