Chamique Holdsclaw Pleads Guilty to Attack of Ex-Girlfriend

Chamique Holdsclaw pleaded guilty yesterday to attacking her ex-girlfriend in November, an incident that involved the ex-WNBA star firing a gun inside the victim’s car. But she won’t spend a second behind bars. The former Tennessee standout was arrested in Atlanta eight months ago after police say she took a baseball bat to Jennifer Lacy’s car and then pulled the trigger on a loaded weapon. Holdsclaw owned up in court to 2 counts of aggravated assault , 4 counts of criminal damage and 1 count of illegal firearm possession. But despite the drastic nature of the crime, Holdsclaw only received a fin of $3,000, along with three years probation and 120 hours of community service. She also must stay away from Lacy and attend anger management counseling.

Chamique Holdsclaw Facing Prison Time For Assault On Ex Via TMZ reports: WNBA legend Chamique Holdsclaw insists she’s no violent gun-slinging psychotic ex-girlfriend … pleading not guilty to aggravated assault after allegedly firing a gun inside her ex-GF’s car. Holdsclaw entered the plea in Atlanta this morning — also pleading not guilty to criminal damage in the first degree, criminal damage in the second degree, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Holdsclaw — who’s currently free on bond — was charged with the laundry list of crimes last month. We broke the story … Holdsclaw — considered one of the greatest players in WNBA history — was arrested in Atlanta last year for a violent encounter with ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lacy. According to the police report, 35-year-old Holdsclaw attacked Lacy’s car with a baseball bat and then fired a gun into the vehicle’s backseat while Lacy sat in the driver’s seat. On the bright side, she won’t have any problems finding a new girl in jail.

Chamique Holdsclaw 911 Tape: Did WNBA Star Try to Blow Up Jennifer Lacy?

Chamique Holdsclaw, the ex-WNBA and University of Tennessee basketball star, is currently free on bail, following her arrest this week for allegedly firing a gun at ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lacy . But new, disturbing information has leaked out regarding the incident, courtesy of a 911 call placed by a friend of Lacy’s, who was in the vehicle when the Holdsclaw confrontation took place. This friend describes Holdsclaw as “mentally unstable.” She goes on to tell the operator that the former Rookie of the Year poured gasoline all over Lacy’s Range Rover, presumably to set it on fire. She specifically says that Holdsclaw attempted to “destroy” the car. Holdsclaw fled the scene before she could do so and before authorities arrived. She then turned herself in and is clearly in major trouble.

Chamique Holdsclaw, WNBA Legend, Reportedly Fires Gun at Ex-Girlfriend

Chamique Holdsclaw, one of the best female basketball players of all-time, is wanted by Atlanta police following allegations that she FIRED A GUN at an ex-girlfriend. According to TMZ sources, this is what transpired: Holdsclaw, a former Rookie of the Year and the top WNBA draft pick in 1999, allegedly chased down Jennifer Lacy after the latter completed a workout. The police report indicates that Lacy called a friend out of fear and met the friend at a nearby location. Once there, Lacy says Holdsclaw confronted her with a baseball bat; bashed in the windows of her friend’s vehicle; and then pulled out a gun, firing a shot at the car. Holdsclaw had fled the area by the time police arrived. They found a 9mm casing and a warrant is out for the athlete’s arrest. UPDATE: Holdsclaw turned herself into police and is being held on $10,000 bail.
