Hey, remember when Mandy Moore didn’t save her tormented best friend and ex boyfriend DJ from having a drug overdose, cuz she was likely too into herself….you know busy reflecting on her career that’s practically non existent…cuz I don’t….see cuz I don’t even remember who Mandy Moore is….and even when I think back…you know way back…I hardly thought of her as jailbait I wanted to fuck…she was all wholesome, non naked, no scandals, and that’s only good if you’re looking to get married in the suburbs or some shit, cuz suburbs have no room for dirty whores….that’s part of the reason why they suck so much…you know almos as much as these pics of Mandy Moore…for old times.
In June of this year Amerie became the latest artist to become romantically involved with their manager or producer. The “Why Don’t We Fall In Love” singer wed her manager Lenny Nicholson joining a sorority that includes members like Janet Jackson , Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey , just to name a few. If that list of names gives you pause there may be good reason. Do relationships formed between artists and management or producers ever last?! Let’s take a stroll back and revisit former artist and manager/producer relationships. 1.) Mariah Carey tried love with manager Tommy Mottola in 1993 when she was with Sony and Tommy worked with Mariah on her successful album Music Box . Music Box has sold over 32 million album worldwide, such great success together! However, Tommy and Mariah eventually divorced in 1997. 2.) Nivea and The Dream , these two lovebirds worked together on two of her albums Complicated and Animalistic. The latter was only released in Japan. The two fell in love and had three kids, but were divorced in 2007. 3.) The Dream and Christina Milian started to develop content for her fourth album Elope in 2009 where Christina signed under Radio Killa Records. Unfortunately, Elope has never been released and we’re still waiting on that fourth album. Married in 2009 and divorced in 2010 they did not hit the two year mark at least! The Dream has a thing for singers, first Nivea and then it was Christina. Nivea may have gotten the better end of this deal because she actually had released album from The Dream– Christina has none. What singer can we guess will be next for The Dream? (Rihanna?) 4.) Andre Lyon (Dre of Cool & Dre) and Christina Milian were an item before Christina tied the knot with The Dream. Nick Cannon and Christina Milian had just broken up and Christina was working on her third studio album in 2006, So Amazing . Cool and Dre were able to produce 10 out of the 11 tracks which meant lots of personal time for Christina and Dre to fall in love. They were a photogenic couple that only lasted until February of 2009. 4.) Latoya Jackson ( yes she does exist ) married manager Jack Gordon in 1989 and the marriage wasn’t sweet. He seemingly kidnapped her from her family and that ‘marriage’ finally ended sometime in 1997. Jack managed her poorly and is said to be the reason why her fame declined in the late 80s and early 90s. For example, Jack was the reason why she did those psychic reading commercials. 5.) Tina and Ike Turner had one bad time as a couple and we are always reminded of that in the film What’s Love Go to Do With It . Ike was physically abusive and took complete control of her career and life until Tina had her epiphany and said ‘no more.’ 6.) Janet Jackson & Jermaine Dupri ‘s relationship came as a surprise to many. Janet fell in love with J.D in 2000 or 2001 (no one knows exactly when they got together) and broke up in 2009 after a nine year relationship. J.D worked on a few of Janet’s albums producing and writing, but it was not enough to keep them together. This was not the first time Janet mixed business and pleasure. Ms. Jackson had a secret marriage to Rene Elizondo back in 1991 but separated in 1999. Rene wrote songs for albums such as Rhythm Nation 1814 and Velvet Rope. Rene also directed the video for “That’s The Way Love Goes,” “Together Again” and “Again.” 7.) Puff Daddy (or Diddy, if you insist) and Jennifer Lopez had a romantic relationship starting in 1999 after working on a few of her albums. J-Lo and Puffy worked together on her album On The 6, J Lo and J Lo: The Remixes . While the two didn’t get married they had a high profile relationship that ended in February 2001. J-Lo then decided to marry her back-up dancer Chris Judd in 2001. Why date your back-up dancer when you were with Puff? This relationship was a downgrade that lasted a whole nine months. 8.) Swizz Beatz and Mashonda had a very long marriage until a certain singer came along (Alicia Keys). Swizz produced Mashonda’s debut album January Joy back in 2005 that was only released in Japan. Mashonda was also featured on a few of Swizz’s projects such as “Get No Better” and “Bellybutton” by Cassidy and “Love Is Blind” and “Gotta Man” for Eve. Wedding bells rang in 2004 and officially stopped ringing in 2010. Not that things will necessarily end poorly with Amerie and her new love Lenny Nicholson but it’s very much in the air. We can either get great work for the next album or a whole lot of nothing and babies. (I Love You A !) Good luck on this journey! Sound off on who else you think should be on the list! “They stopped at a Malibu Ralphs market and Starbucks,” a source says. “She looked happy, though her face is rather bloated, probably from the detox.” On this week#39;s Teen Mom, we got a behind-the-scenes look at the life of Amber Portwood, which spiraled out of control and landed her in rehab this summer. Well, she#39;s still there, and for the first time since entering Seasons rehab facility in Malibu, Calif., the troubled star ventured out with a staffer the other day. Whatever the reason
Philly MC will talk about his Jay-Z drama and his future moves next Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com. By Rob Markman Beanie Sigel and Jay-Z in 2007 Photo: Getty Images Some call him the Truth, others call him the Reason, but most just call him Beanie Sigel . And next Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET, we’ll call the former Roc-A-Fella rapper our guest when he joins Sway on “RapFix Live.” There will be much to talk about with the Philadelphia MC as we will address his relationship with Jay-Z , the brash comments he’s made about Hov and the apology he supposedly issued to Jigga at the top of June. Last week, during a radio appearance on Sirius XM, the Broad Street Bully denied that he ever apologized to Jay-Z and charged that his quotes were taken out of context by XXL magazine, the outlet that first broke the news of Beans’ supposed olive branch. He did, however, acknowledge that it was Jay-Z who gave him his start in hip-hop, and for that he expressed his gratitude. Sigel rose to rap prominence after he was signed to Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella Records, where he released his debut album, The Truth, in 1999. Respected equally for his rap bars as well as his street bravado, the MC has seen his career tainted by legal trouble. In 2004, Beans was sentenced to a year and a day in prison after he pled guilty to federal weapon charges. It was around this time that Roc-A-Fella co-founders Jay-Z and Damon Dash split, leaving the company fractured and forcing artists on their roster to choose sides. Sigel managed to release 2005′s The B. Coming on Dash’s DDMG label and then his 2007 follow-up, The Solution, on Roc-A-Fella Records two years later. Still, the relationship between him and Jay has since been damaged. In 2009, Sigel addressed the drama and threw shots at Jay-Z on several songs, including “What You Talkin Bout,” a track he released in October of that year. Now, Sigel aims to set the record straight on the next episode of “RapFix Live.” Related Artists Beanie Sigel Jay-Z

My family means everything to me.” Click here to check out Q’s feature. More pics from the spread below.
In a sea of tracks filled with haunting imagery, “She” doesn’t necessarily immediately stand out as the creepiest cut on Tyler, the Creator’s Goblin . I mean, it’s followed by “Transylvania,” “Nightmare,” and “Tron Cat” for fuck’s sake. But it’s a different story altogether when paired up with the above imagery. Part of the reason is that the video makes you really listen to what Tyler and Frank Ocean… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : prefixmag Discovery Date : 04/06/2011 06:03 Number of articles : 2
Our Bigger Than the Sound columnist is taking credit for that and five other moments in rock history. By James Montgomery James Montgomery interviews the Foo Fighters Photo: Jonathan Mussman / MTV News Honestly, I don’t know if I should be flattered or outraged right now. On Tuesday, the Foo Fighters released their (genuinely excellent) Wasting Light album, a snarling, knotty thing that, as anyone who bought a copy can attest to, also comes packaged with a snippet of the master tapes it was recorded on. I’ll be the first to admit that it’s a rather brilliant little marketing ploy, especially since I may have been the one who thought it up in the first place. See, last month, when I sat down with the Foos for the premiere of their “Rope” video , we spent a fair amount of time discussing Light ‘s recording process — and the band’s much-covered decision to make the album in Dave Grohl’s garage, directly to analog tape. At one point, Grohl told me that, after final mastering, he cut the master tapes up “into a million pieces,” which led me to suggest — half-jokingly, I will admit — that he should include the fragments of tape with the actual album. “What a great idea!” Grohl laughed. No kidding. And while the outrage I felt upon learning the Foos had, uh, appropriated my concept has subsided some (I’d still like a platinum plaque, though), the whole incident got me thinking. Because whether I meant for it to happen or not, over the years, I have been responsible for creating a lot of ancillary rock bullsh– just like the Wasting Light marketing scheme. I suppose I have a knack for inspiring footnotes in the ever-expanding book of rock and roll (as Musical March Madness has proven). So here’s a look back at some of my Greatest Hits: The Great Killers/Bravery Beef of 2005 Yes, I am the guy responsible for this petty feud, which was a very big deal back when folks mentioned the Killers and the Bravery in the same sentence (or, really, mentioned them at all). It all started when I interviewed Brandon Flowers in March 2005, just as the Killers’ Hot Fuss was gaining traction here in the States, and, flush with confidence, he took the opportunity to lay the verbal smackdown on the Bravery, whom he saw as pretenders to the Killers’ sparkly throne. “They’re signed because we’re a band,” he told me. “I’ve heard rumors about [members of] that band being in a different kind of band, and how do you defend that? If you say, ‘My heart really belongs to what I’m doing now,’ but you used to be in a ska band? I think people will see through them.” Oh, snap. The two sides would continue to spar for most of the year (my favorite part was when Bravery frontman Sam Endicott said Killers’ bassist Mark Stoermer looked like “a 9-foot-tall, Dutch-girl mutant”) before the beef eventually got too lean for anyone to care about. Though, in a semi-related note, a year later, Flowers told me that the Killers’ upcoming Sam’s Town would be “one of the best albums in the past 20 years,” a quote that would haunt him for the majority of the album’s cycle and, in a lot of ways, doom it completely. Needless to say, we haven’t spoken a whole lot since. The Fall Out Boy Song “West Coast Smoker” This is the final tune on their 2008 album Folie

Rumor control: Was Sean Paul all up in Beyonce’s cakes during a break with Jigga man? ! When the check stops coming in… Sean Paul starts spillin’. “Word on the street is that Reggae star Sean Paul is writing a biography, and he admits he dated Beyonce when she was taking a break from Jay-Z. The insider explained, “Jay-Z was very jealous . . . to this day he has a problem with Sean Paul.” Oh the shade… We smell beef! Could this be the reason why Jay Camel banned Sean Paul from performing “Baby Boy” with Beyonce at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards?! Source
I can’t help but respect and appreciate any girl who’s last name starts with the world WHORE. Especially when their career is based on them getting paid to get naked or half naked…like a whore…only they are called “Models” to make it all okay…socially acceptable, even prestigious enough to make a bitch who at the age of 12 would never have thought she’d be exchanging money for her body…hell bitch wanted to be a Vet or a nurse or a seamstress or whatever girls want to be when they grow up…but realized, it’s a lot easier to just take her clothes off for money than to actual work for anything. It’s pretty much the stripper way. We’ve seen her topless before – and I’m a fan… So enjoy this campaign she did for some Swimwear/Lingerie line called Princess Tam Tam (free advertising, free advertising)…. FOLLOW ME
