Mama Joyce Speaks On Kandi’s Relationship With Todd Tucker Here she goes again… Via RadarOnline : Todd Tucker’s mother-in-law has been screaming from the mountain top about how disappointed she was with Kandi’s choice in men, and even though they’re tied the knot she is not any happier now. “I didn’t take from Kandi, I didn’t use her ever,” Mama Joyce told Radar. “Kandi respects me and Kandi knows I raised her by myself and I sacrificed for her and I never spent her money. I was the one that helped her accumulate what she has.” “I want my child to be happy and I didn’t want her to be taken advantage of. I wanted Kandi to marry somebody that had as much as she did.” “I made up my mind that if that’s who she chose then I am happy for her. I am not going to stress about it and I’m just going to accept it.” Mama Joyce conceded that Kandi’s husband has been working hard lately, telling Radar: “Todd is doing well now. He has a show and I hope they stay together and be happy. I have accepted that they are together and she loves him.” Noting that she has been called “terrifying” by critics, Mama Joyce defended her harsh words, saying: “I think I am just straight up. People that know me love me to death. But I’m real. I say what other people are thinking because I don’t think there is anything to hide.” “I guess I don’t care. Who’s gonna check me boo?” Well after watching the show, we guess we all know who is definitely NOT going to check her — KANDI.

Carlton Gebbia on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Firing: A Blessing in Disguise

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is down two housewives as Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud were fired this week after just one season on Bravo. What does the former have to say about her dismissal? E! News’ Giuliana Rancic caught up with Carlton, the franchise’s first Wiccan, at the premiere of Maleficent, and she hinted that she is in fact gone. Not that she’s looking at this news as devastating. While she hasn’t “officially been notified yet by Bravo,” Carlton is already plotting her next reality TV move, calling her RHOBH exit “a blessing.” “I sort of look at it as a blessing in disguise because my husband does have a project in the works, a reality show,” Carlton revealed to Giuliana . “It’s something that would give me the opportunity to work with him. I was contractually obligated for a three-year deal and if that’s the case, I’m not anymore.” She is married to David Gebbia, owner of Stockcross Financial Services. Carlton adds, in closing, “I really have enjoyed working for Bravo!” However, she does also confess that, “I would like to go into a show and not have to watch knives coming at my back. That would just be great!” Ouch. In related news, we hear Lisa Vanderpump may quit the show too, though Andy Cohen is reportedly battling hard to retain her services. As it stands right now, Kim and Kyle Richards, Brandi Glanville and Yolanda Foster are the only stars set to return for Season 5 on Bravo next year. Faye Resnick may join the cast too, we’re told. We’ve got something called Naluda Magazine to thank for this latest fantasy, starring one of my favorite hot nobodies Joanna Krupa and Joyce Giraud . Can’t say I’m quite as familiar with Joyce as I obviously am with Joanna, but according to my research, she’s a former Miss Puerto Rico and now she’s one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or something. Which I guess is how she knows Joanna here. Anyway, after seeing these pictures, I’m really looking forward to the crossover episode when these two make this lonely housewife fantasy of mine a reality. Mama Joyce needs to have several seats. Mama Joyce Explains Why She Thinks Todd Cheated With Kandi’s Friend It’s only a matter of time before Mama Joyce comes at Todd with that shoe…. According to Rolling Out: For months now, Mama Joyce has found herself looking like a major villain in the public eye thanks to her unending claims that Todd Tucker, her daughter Kandi Burruss’ fiancé, is an opportunist and cheated on her with her BFF Carmon. Although there has never been any evidence besides hearsay to support Joyce’s claims, she’s now revealing her reasons for believing Tucker cheated with Carmon. In a new interview with Sister 2 Sister, Joyce claims that she doesn’t see Tucker as a man who’s worthy of her daughter. “I would like a real man, a man that just looks at her and thinks that she’s the prize, the way I look at her.” Joyce claims that it doesn’t matter what kind of job any man who dates Burruss has, but she then claims that Tucker’s job is a problem for her because he is a freelance worker. “He could be a postman. He could be a police officer. He could be a fireman…As long as when she marries him, he don’t quit his job,” said Joyce. “If he was working a full job, if he was a full production person that has full benefits and all that, I’d be happy.” As for Carmen, Joyce also claims that she once saw Tucker and Carmen getting cozy together at dinner. “Todd and Carmen were sitting at a table, all head to head talking. I’m trying to figure out what they got to talk so much about that they got to be head to head,” she said. “They were eating off the same plate, drinking out the same glass.” Although she didn’t see it herself, Joyce claims that she was told that Carmon was also spotted sitting in Tucker’s lap. If Mama Joyce has her way, she’ll be marrying Kandi instead of Todd.

Mama Joyce just wants Kandi for herself. Mama Joyce Explains Why She Does Not Like Todd Poor Todd. He is in love with Kandi and has to deal with her monster-in-law mother. According to Radar Online: Kandi Burruss’ mom Joyce doesn’t like her daughter’s soon-to-be husband Todd Tucker! Opening up exclusively to RadarOnline.com, Joyce reveals why she doesn’t trust the reality star and tells of how she wants nothing to do with their wedding planning. “I’m out of it. Whatever Kandi does, it is completely her decision now. I wish her well. I just hope that this is the right choice for her,” Joyce told Radar. Joyce said she considers Todd an opportunist who will take Kandi’s money, but she’s backing down because the drama – which aired on The Real Housewives of Atlanta – has made her physically sick. Joyce revealed she lost sleep after The Kandi Factory star and Tucker, a reality TV line producer, got engaged. “They have worn me down to the point where it has made me sick. I just don’t feel like Todd is the right choice. I think he’s manipulative… I’ve tried to shield my child, but I’m tired. I’m over it. I pray to God I’m wrong about him. “If Kandi is happy, I’m happy. At the end of the day, she’s the one who will have to deal with him not me,” she confessed, adding that to her knowledge Kandi and Todd still haven’t set a wedding date. Joyce also opened up about Sunday’s episode of the hit Bravo show. Sunday’s show saw Mama Joyce outraged that Kandi’s assistant Carmon, whom she’s accused of sleeping with Todd, was there to help with the wedding dress shopping. She objected to Carmon being at the bridal salon for what she termed a family event — and had to be held back from throwing a shoe. As expected, the southern mama doesn’t regret the way she acted. “This was my daughter’s wedding dress fitting. If Carmon was the friend and ‘daughter’ that she always wanted to be, she should have gotten up and left when I asked her,” Joyce said matter-of-factly. Joyce continued to weigh in on the drama, claiming she believes Carmon and Kandi’s fiancé were fooling around at one point. “A lot of people who worked for Kandi and I have told me that Todd and Carmon were acting like much more than friends around the house. They may have squashed the relationship for now, but I truly believe they were doing things behind Kandi’s back at one point,” Joyce confessed. “I’ve confronted Kandi [about the cheating rumors] — but she’s still with Todd, so who knows. It’s her choice, and I wish her well,” she said. If Mama Joyce had a man, would she be so occupied with Kandi and Todd’s business?

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap: Monster Mama

The Real Housewives of Atlanta gave us the saga of the “The Old Lady and the Shoe” but I wish Mama Joyce would just put her shoes back on and walk out the door. We recap the wedding dress drama in our THG +/- review. But first Kandi Burruss takes the girls to a dance class to get them moving but Cynthia Bailey’s sparkles nearly blinded me. Minus 15. Even worse was the close up of Phaedra Parks tummy. Minus 21. The woman just had a baby for goodness sake.  But wait, they’re not done.  Kenya Moore sent rival Phaedra her Booty Bootcamp video after she gave birth. Minus 25. That’s just so wrong.  Does Kenya think that’s cute? Just wait until she has a child, which if her aunt has any say in it will be soon. Since Kenya’s always picking the wrong men, her aunt’s advice is to skip that part and go straight to the baby.  Yes, Kenya seems to do fine with her little dog but a child…I’m not so sure.  Speaking of kids, Cynthia had a sit down with Noelle’s daddy to talk about the girl’s new boyfriend. Plus 42 . Noelle’s a lucky girl. Most kids are lucky to have one parent who is interested. She’s got a mother and two fathers who are actively involved in her life.  NeNe’s planning a girls’ trip to Savannah, Georgia. Plus 50. I love Savannah. I’m just not sure how much I’ll love it after these ladies get through with it.  Brace yourself Savannah. The Housewives are coming. Hopefully Porsha Williams will be able to make it. The stress of the divorce must be taking its toll because she’s been plagued by headaches and she fainted on the stairs.  Maybe it’s a good thing she didn’t move out of her Momma’s. But if Porsha needs to be close to her mother, Kandi needs to run from hers.  Mama Joyce is a complete mess. Who goes to see their daughter try and wedding dresses and says “She ain’t gonna wear it no where” while the girl is in the dressing room. Minus 33. That’s just mean. But Mama Joyce is cruel. She’s a bully, only Kandi’s so used to having it in her life that she just can’t see how bad it really is. Joyce and her sisters came into that bridal salon like a mean spirited little gang and did their best to ruin Kandi’s day. And when Carmon tried to stand up to them, Mama Joyce threatened to beat her with a shoe!  Kandi doesn’t like confrontation so she just backs down to Mama but if she keeps that up Mama Joyce will push Kandi’s best friend and fiance right out of her life. Minus 40 . But that seems to be exactly what Joyce wants. Her daughter to be just as lonely and miserable as she is.  Maybe the ladies can convince Kandi to put her big girl panties on and stand up for herself when they get to Savannah, but after a lifetime of cow-towing to Mama Joyce, I doubt it. Episode total = -42!                                               Season total = -329!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap: Mama’s Gone Crazy

The Real Housewives of Atlanta had Kandi Burruss “Save the Drama For Mama” but if Mama’s not careful her wedding invite might get lost in the mail. We break down all the Mama drama in THG’s +/- review … Goodness knows Mama Joyce was always a little off but the woman was riding the crazy train on the latest Housewives. Minus 25. Poor Kandi. Todd seems like a really good guy. He’s stable and honest and he loves her. Plus 40. But that’s not enough for Mama Joyce. He’s not a millionaire so he must be taking advantage of Kandi because in Mama’s head that’s just what men do. Funny thing is that Mama Joyce seems more concerned about herself than her daughter. Who stomps into someone else’s home and asks why there aren’t more pictures of them up? Minus 11.  Then Joyce starts throwing shade on Kandi’s long time friend Carmon making it sound like Kandi’s best gal pal and her fiance are getting it on behind the scenes. Talk about drama.  Minus 33.   Kandi Burruss should have been showing Mama the door. Plus 42 to Todd who miraculously kept his cool when most people would have lost it. Even when Joyce insulted his choice of engagement ring the man held his tongue and was respectful.  That must have taken some self control because I know I was yelling at my TV. Kandi and Todd’s finances, relationship or pre-nups are none of Mama Joyce’s business and Kandi needs to stand up and tell her so before Todd has enough of this nonsense…which would make Joyce perfectly happy and that’s nothing but sad. Minus 15. But Kandi’s not the only one with relationship issues. Phaedra still wasn’t speaking with Apollo as she headed off for Alabama. Perhaps Apollo should beware…she was going to learn how to embalm a body. Maybe she thinks it will come in handy closer to home. Seriously though, Apollo went to Peter for some marital advice and it wasn’t half bad. Plus 18 . Peter pointed out that the last thing Phaedra wanted to hear was how Apollo Nida could have had Kenya if he’d wanted her. The correct answer was, Honey, you’re the only woman I want. And Kenya Moore was definitely using those text messages to embarrass Phaedra. Another plus 10 to Peter for calling it.  Back home Peter had more fatherly issues to deal with. Cythina’s daughter Noelle says she’s got a boyfriend. Although I agree with NeNe that 13 is way too young to actually date, plus 30 to the parents for getting together to discuss boundaries and showing the kids how to be respectful to one another and the adults.  Kenya finally picked out a place to live but does anyone really care?  I found it funny how Kenya now called NeNe her good friend because she took an interest in her home search. Minus 12. Girl, NeNe was making fun of your rental in case you hadn’t noticed.  And Porsha Williams takes a look at a beautiful condo…but she’s just not ready to move out of Momma’s. Well who would be? Momma gave her the master suite and serves her breakfast every morning. Who in their right mind would want to leave? EPISODE TOTAL: +44! SEASON TOTAL: -287!
