Emily Simpson SLAMS Kelly Dodd for Vicious Attack on Husband!

Though viewers saw Vicki Gunvalson flip out on The Real Housewives of Orange County , she wasn’t the only Housewife to get a little hot under the collar. When Kelly Dodd criticized Emily Simpson’s husband — when she called him a “b–ch” — Emily lashed out, even threatening to kill Kelly. Emily cooled off and apologized, and she’s owning up to her words and actions. But she says that she’s the only one who’s doing so. “I am in no way proud of my behavior at Tamra’s party,” Emily admits in a Bravo blog post. In her own defense, Emily says: “I feel like any wife who respects her marriage and her husband would have become as irate as I did.” “However,” Emily adds. “I am the ONLY one taking any responsibility for my own actions that evening.” “And let’s be honest,” Emily says, preparing to school her co-star. “For a ‘death threat’ to be actionable, the other party has to have an imminent and reasonable fear that their life is in jeopardy.” “The fact that Kelly continued to scream, ‘Hit me! Hit me!’ and was laughing means she was not scared for her life,” Emily reasons. She says that Kelly has been targeted Emily’s words so that she does not have to look inward. “Kelly’s constant focusing on what I said that night is simply a deflection from dealing with her own abhorrent behavior,” Emily says. “I have to say I’m quite disappointed in the other ladies,” Emily continues. Emily asks: “Did anyone else notice that Tamra, in her last blog, says Shane likes to cause drama when all he did was stand at a table and have a nice, quiet conversation with Steve?” Tamra’s last blog was more or less all about accusing Shane of being dramatic. Emily spies hypocrisy in Tamra’s accusations. “Yet she makes ZERO mention of Kelly’s behavior,” Emily points out. “Can Shane ever catch a break? Is he ever allowed to speak?” Emily then points out that Shane was in a no-win scenario. “If he said nothing, he would be attacked for being spineless,” Emily imagines. “If he speaks up, he’s attacked for causing drama.” “At the very least, it is laughable that the queen of ‘That’s my opinion!’ is telling Shane to stay out of it,” Emily says, referring to the famous meme of Tamra screaming. “I am happy that Kelly and I had the opportunity to sit down face to face and work it out,” Emily writes. Emily continues: “I truly believe you can work things out by owning your own actions, forgiving, and moving on.” “I feel that we both said what we wanted to say,” Emily says. “And we both took responsibility for our own part in the evening.” Emily adds: “I even texted Kelly after meeting with her and reiterated how I was happy that we chatted and worked things out.” Despite that peacemaking, Emily points out that Kelly hasn’t given up on her insistence that Shane is a “b–ch.” It’s part of human nature for people to get upset and defensive when their loved ones are targeted for criticism and ridicule. And it goes with the Real Housewife franchise’s territory for people to have explosive arguments on camera. Viewers expect it. It’s how the stars respond after the fact that shows fans what their character is really like. Emily, at least, is owning what she did and what she said. We do hope that, in the future, Emily avoids issuing any death threats. It’s not cool. View Slideshow: The Real Housewives of Orange County Premiere Just Gave Us So Much More Hope For Season 13

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 12 Episode 10 Recap: Loose Lips and Sinking Ships

Will Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge be able to put their beef aside and play nice for the sake of their friends? That was one of the big questions on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 12 Episode 10 , and one that seemed like it was going to be dragged on for eternity.  With the ladies dodging each other practically all season long, it has become apparent that the producers must be struggling for footage to fill the episodes.  When the episode got underway, Vicki was chatting with her daughter on the phone and boasting about the birthday party she was planning for herself.  It’s a bit sad to be planning your own birthday party, but it’s not like Vicki has a lot of friends right now. In fact, she could probably count her loyal friends on the one hand.  That’s what happens when you decide to cause trouble amongst your group. Her party idea sounded like something Vicki would come up with.  She wanted to wear red while everyone else wore black and white. She also wanted to sit down for a roast and let every single person in the room air their thoughts on her.  People would legit pay to watch that play out because Vicki would probably eventually go ham and run out of the event with a bottle of wine, but did this seem like a good way to put her beef aside with the ladies? Briana did not seem to think so, and Vicki questioned why. Apparently, Vicki was under the impression everyone would say nice things about her.  As laughable as that is, props to Briana for thinking about her mother’s feelings. If you watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online , you know that Vicki has been a nightmare.  When she’s not bickering with her friends, she’s finding new people to quarrel with, but that’s just who she is. We’ve watched her do it multiple times over the years, so why would she change now? Meanwhile, Lydia and Meghan went on a hiking trip and got candid about IVF treatment. Meghan revealed that it was a painful thing to go through.  Lydia questioned whether it would be a good idea to freeze some of her husband’s sample in case she wanted more kids down the line.  Here’s the big conundrum: Lydia’s husband is getting a vasectomy, so it would be difficult for them if they were to decide to have kids down the line.  These ladies know they need to cover all bases before making a decision, so we’re thankful they know that. The talk then turned to Meghan’s feud with Kelly.  Lydia revealed that she was Team Kelly in this battle because Meghan went out of her way quiz Kelly about having a boyfriend. So, Lydia’s take on it was that Meghan was the one in the wrong.  “Meghan has no problem cutting down Kelly’s marriage and then she’s mad at Kelly for doing the same thing in return,” Lydia explains in her confessional. “I’m trying to just hold up a mirror to Meghan and say, ‘You know, I see Kelly’s side too.'” Naturally, Meghan flipped the eff out and revealed that Kelly was the one who was trying to cause all of the beef between them.  “With what? Are you f–king kidding right now? This is so upsetting, Lydia,” Meghan screams, holding back tears. “That you would even think that’s normal for a person to attack your marriage.” “No, I feel like you attacked hers,” Lydia replied. Realizing she had upset Meghan, Lydia apologized but claimed that she still understood why Kelly lashed out and that it was not her fault.  The awesome thing about Lydia is that she just says it how it is, and that shows how loyal she is. She knows she needs to be honest about things or she will end up in the center of the drama.  Then, Tamra got a phone call from none other than Vicki! Yes, it was time to end the feud once and for all. Vicki did apologize for all the drama and asked if they could rebuild and move on.  Tamra agreed, but stressed in a confessional that she did not know whether she was making the right decision. It’s perfectly understandable that she would be apprehensive.  All of the drama with Vicki has been too much to handle for her, but it does seem like Vicki is ready to grow up. Tamra decided to call up Shannon to find out her take on it.  She was not impressed.  “F–k Vicki,” she said.  Shannon had some drama of her own to deal with. It was her birthday, and she was reminiscing about how great things were a year ago.  Now, her relationship with David was not in a good place and she questioned how long she could go on. David, however, felt like Shannon was the one to blame.  He admitted that he lets her get on with it when she’s stressed or anything because that’s just how he is. His other issue was that Shannon was still obsessing over Vicki.  The rest of the episode was all about Vicki’s birthday and it ushered in the return of Gretchen and Lizzie. But the drama was surprisingly started by Ricky.  He opened up about witnessing Eddie making out with a guy. Oh, the drama.  Vicki opted to keep out of it and that was the first big signal that she was ready to move on with her life as opposed to listening to rumors and adding stuff on to them.  What do you think about Vicki’s new outlook? The Real Housewives of Orange County: Cast Banned from Twitter!

The Real Housewives of Orange County is so packed with drama that the drama is spilling over to social media.  The producers are not a fan of that happening off camera and wanted to ensure the ladies abided by some strict rules.  That meant sending out a letter to the cast members , insisting that the ladies keep their drama for the show.  It reads, in part, “…the social media viciousness has gone too far and you need to cool it. Specifically we’re asking you to stop attacking each other. The network is upset and so are we in production.” “The constant, ugly fighting is a bad look for you, and bad for the show,” it reads. “You may not like each other, may not trust each other and often wish you weren’t on the show together – but taking shots at each other on social media isn’t the answer. Save it for the show… for the reunion… and please stop fighting so dirty.” The “save it for the show” part is certainly interesting.  The producers are not happy that the drama is not being caught on cameras, so that is probably why the letter was sent.  The social media time out is pretty much so that the ladies argue when the cameras are rolling.  Sigh. The producers know the ladies despise one another, so they want that to be portrayed on the show.  Another case of reality TV producers manipulating the drama.  It’s pretty much scripted at this stage.  It will give viewers a much better experience with the show if there are more arguments.  That’s probably one of the only reasons to watch at this stage.  As much as the letter may want to chant that the ladies need to play nice, that’s just off camera.  The letter comes in the wake of various spats between the cast members via social media.  If you watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online , you’ll know that tensions have been spilling over all season long.  It’s pretty much been like a ticking time bomb, but it’s made for great TV. Vicki Gunvalson got one over on Shannon Beader on the most recent episode of the show.  She brought up Shannon Beader’s husband cheating on her and claimed he had a better time with his mistress.  This did not go down well with Beader and she reportedly complained to the network about the whole thing.  “The letter was sent a direct result of Shannon complaining to the network about what was happening on social media,” the insider revealed.  Beader has been known to cause her fair share of drama over her three seasons on the hit series.  With ratings sagging, producers will want to right the ship before the network inevitably pulls the plug.  Can you imagine a world without this show? That’s a scary thought.  All of the drama is pretty crazy, but is any of this stuff about the letter real? We don’t quite know.  It is somewhat intriguing.  What do you think about all of this?
