Dancing with the Stars Week Two: Quickstepping and Smooching…

After two weeks of Dancing with the Stars , The Karate Kid remains a knuckle above the competition. Even a mediocre Jive on last night’s performance show wasn’t enough to knock Ralph Macchio from the top spot, as his 21-point effort, combined with last week’s impressive Foxtrot , leaves him with a total of 45, good for first place on the overall leaderboard. We’ll also see Kirstie Alley next week, no doubt. She and Maksim Chmerkovskiy may have only garnered a score of 20 for their Quickstep, but they concluded the routine with an improvised kiss and left viewers buzzing. Rebecca Black Speaks on Lady Gaga, Earthquake Relief

She’s hated on by millions, beloved by Lady Gaga and parodied by Conan O’Brien . But one thing is certain: 13-year old Rebecca Black is an Internet and television sensation. The rising, controversial star sat down with Entertainment Weekly to speak on a number of topics, including one heartfelt cause… Rebecca Black on The Tonight Show On donating YouTube and iTunes proceeds to earthquake/tsunami relief in Japan : I felt really bad about it. I’ve always wanted to do something about all natural disasters, and I realized now is my big opportunity where I can really help. On props from Gaga : That’s so cool! I feel so star-struck, even though I haven’t met her. It’s so surreal, it’s so crazy. I was just listening to “Born this Way.” I really love all of her songs, I have almost every song of hers on my iPod and I think she’s really a lyrical genius. Her songs are just so upbeat and fun and catchy. On how she parties : Just really being with friends and having fun. Dancing — that’s really what I do at parties. I dance and I hang out with friends. That’s my partying. On her favorite artists : Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Rihanna… Justin Bieber I find an inspiration overall: I love his music, he’s adorable and I love that he’s so young and so big. And Rihanna, how she came out of the Chris Brown thing so strong, that is amazing to me. On future songs: Dance anthem-like stuff, very teen-like pop songs, stuff like that.

George Lopez Apologizes For Kirstie Alley Pig Joke

Late night host George Lopez made a joke this week implying that instant Dancing with the Stars favorite Kirstie Alley is a pig. It didn’t go over too well. On Tuesday’s Lopez Tonight , he said, “She did a nice job,” after showing a clip of Kirstie and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. “Her little hooves tapping away.” He then did a play on the classic nursery rhyme, This Little Piggy Goes to Market, before playing a clip of a pig squealing “wheeeee” riding in a car. Having thought better of it, Lopez apologized last night on Twitter: Not sure how one misjudges a joke in which one calls a woman a pig – not something they typically take kindly too – but it appears no harm was done. Alley struck back at Lopez, writing: “lol…a drunk pig…hehe” and later, this: “Don’t worry about George’s comments… just remember what happens to the big bad, drunk wolf… falls in a boiling pot of vodka. Piggy laughs.” Good one. This isn’t the first such incident for Lopez, who made weight-related cracks about Bristol Palin ballooning on DWTS last season, too. The Marriage Ref continues its reign of Tom Papa-emceed insanity as Jimmy Fallon, Kirstie Alley, and Sheryl Crow volunteer wisdom from their years of perfect relationships. I believe all of Sheryl’s critiques should reference her song lyrics to as verbatim an extent as possible. “Billy likes to peel the labels of his his bottles of Bud? Divorce, girl!” and “Are you strong enough to be that harpy’s man?” should be uttered.

Lisa Rinna was “so disturbed” by Heidi Montag 3.0’s PEOPLE magazine cover that she had to take off the cover before it came to the house. I know what you’re thinking. That I’m talking about a different Lisa Rinna. One that revels in her natural beauty and has never even seen a plastic surgeon’s office. But, no. This is the exact Lisa Rinna you’re thinking of. The one who’s had Juvederm, Botox and pumped silicone in her lips making her look like a fish you pulled out of the water and debated over whether or not to throw it back in. The irony here is she probably did it for her daughters. She and her husband don’t want their kids to develop any body image issues.
