In her video for ” Wrecking Ball ,” we see Miley Cyrus shedding many tears. But Grimes doesn’t see the singer’s outpouring of emotion as related to Liam Hemsworth , she views them as a cry for help. “WTF is up with Miley’s new music video?” the actress asked on Twitter today. “I mean, I don’t know the girl but if I did I’d demand she bath twice, put some clothes on and give her a big hug… looks like she needs it.” Miley, we’re sure, would beg to differ. She’s simply thrilled that “Wrecking Ball” has set a new record for VEVO views in a 24-hour period. However, Shenae’s husband, Josh Beech, thinks Cyrus should be concerned over the message she’s been sending a young fan base. Referring to the new video as a “porno,” Beech blogged this morning: “Miley’s got a new video and to be honest I like the song. Justin Bieber continues to give his fans a taste of his forthcoming video for “Boyfriend,” with new teaser clips (below) and interviews on the topic. “I think people are going to be really happy [with the video] and … I think it’s going to make people like the song more,” Bieber told MTV News. “The song, and the album ( Believe ), in general, is just really new and fresh and I think that people are going to be really happy to hear it.” The song represents a more mature sound for the 18-year-old, but he says ” Boyfriend ” is just one component of the album’s overall sound. Justin Bieber “Boyfriend” Video Teaser (New) “I think it’s part of it,” he said. “My whole album is so different and every song’s different, I think that what’s special about it; nothing sounds the same.” Bieber also teased that he would be hitting the studio with his mentor Usher, who in turn tweeted a bit more about working with his understudy. “Ohh … and trust we got a duet coming for ‘LOOKING 4 MYSELF’ and ‘BELIEVE,'” he said of working with the teen star on both their forthcoming albums. “He has come a long way. Proud to see his evolution as an artist!” We’re guessing 19,863,129 Beliebers (as of this post) concur.

By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Kelly Marino Justin Bieber’s Boyfriend Photo: Walmart/ Island Justin Bieber is gradually giving fans a taste of his forthcoming video for “Boyfriend.” In the latest tease for the clip, which he tweeted out , several more shots are revealed. They include a watery, booming speaker, Bieber whispering in a pretty girl’s ear and the singer standing in silhouette, snapping his fingers in front of the moon. “I think people are going to be really happy [with the video] and … I think it’s going to make people like the song more,” Bieber told MTV News on the set of the video, directed by Colin Tilley. “The album, in general, is just really new and fresh and I think people are going to be really happy to hear it.” The song certainly represents a more mature sound for the 18-year-old, who has abandoned the doo-wop-influenced pop of his past for a Justin Timberlake vibe . It’s not unusual for a Blu-ray to include footage left on the cutting room floor. But when it’s arthouse auteur David Lynch we’re talking about, well, everything is a little bit strange. Long thought lost, the work print of Blue Velvet (1986) was recently unearthed in Seattle, bringing to light over 50 minutes of deleted scenes, (sk)incuding one Lynch says is one of his favorites. In the book Lynch on Lynch , he describes being shown a “party trick” by a stripper extra on set: “They take these paper matches and split ‘em apart and then lick them and put them on their nipples, so the match-head is sitting right there and you really can’t see the little bit of cardboard. It’s sitting right there, very close. It may come out a quarter inch, but it burns for a while and then you put them out. It just burns long enough for the cut. And so it moved pretty nicely, you know.” “The flaming nipple scene” (above; you can see the stripper lighting her boobs on the right, as well as another topless extra on the left) has since become something of a Holy Grail for Lynch fans, and its skinclusion on the Blu-ray is a major find. The director told The Guardian UK he’s pleased about the revival, saying: “It’s like the song Amazing Grace.
