Amber Portwood: Threatening Suicide Over Teen Mom?!

Amber Portwood sure has come a long way, huh? If you look at footage from the early seasons of Teen Mom and compare them to the latest episodes, she almost doesn't seem to be the same person. But there is one thing that the Amber of then and the Amber of now share … And that is the ability to have a breakdown at any given moment over absolutely anything. For the past few days, she's been struggling with some issues pertaining to being a reality star — which, you know, is kind of fair. We just didn't know she was feeling this low about it. 1. Oh, Amber … If you’ve kept up with Teen Mom over the years, then you know that Amber has had more than her fair share of struggles. 2. What Started It All She got pregnant as a teenager, for example — that wasn’t easy. 3. A Bad Combination She definitely wasn’t mature enough to have a kid, and at the time, neither was Gary Shirley. And they certainly weren’t mature enough to be in a serious relationship. 4. Yikes He antagonized her for fun, she actually physically abused him more than once … it was all very, very bad. 5. Also This Oh, and did we mention that Amber had a very serious drug problem throughout all of this? 6. What a Mess Eventually Amber went to prison for three counts of domestic violence — all felonies — and Gary met Kristina, the woman who is now his wife. View Slideshow

Taylor Lautner Debuts ‘Abduction’ Trailer

‘It’s crazy for me to actually watch the trailer, because I’ve been envisioning this movie put together for so long,’ Lautner tells MTV News. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins in “Abduction” Photo: Lionsgate We’re not exaggerating when we say you’ve never seen Taylor Lautner like this — leading man, action hero, devoid of any supernatural powers. We say that because, until now, the trailer for the 19-year-old actor’s upcoming thriller “Abduction” has been under wraps. But as part of “MTV First: Taylor Lautner,” we’re exclusively debuting the first-ever look at footage from the movie, which hits theaters September 23. “It’s crazy for me to actually watch the trailer, because I’ve been envisioning this movie put together for so long — ever since I read the script,” Lautner told us at the start of a 30-minute chat. “Just to see it all together now is really exciting.” Lautner plays a teen named Nathan, who’s always felt something wasn’t quite right. As he puts it in the trailer, “Sometimes I feel different. I walk around like everybody else, but inside I just feel like I’m a stranger in my own life.” He’s right. After stumbling upon his baby picture on a missing-persons website and reaching out to his birth parents, Nathan finds himself caught up in a world of underground spies and death-defying stunts. Those stunts are very much on display in the new trailer. He rides a motorcycle through the woods, gets into a fight on a moving train, scales scaffolding and slides down glass roofing. Oh, and he makes time for a steamy kiss with co-star Lily Collins. All the while, Nathan’s on the run from a CIA agent (Alfred Molina) who intends to apprehend him. “It’s a great story, it’s a great character, there are a lot of great characters, there’s a lot of action, it’s fun,” Lautner said. “Also, I knew it was going to be challenging, so I was looking forward to that.” What did you think of the “Abduction” trailer? Robert Pattinson Plays ‘Jacob’ In ‘Water For Elephants’

Character’s name ironically the same as Taylor Lautner’s in ‘Twilight Saga.’ By Eric Ditzian Robert Pattinson in “Water For Elephants” Photo: FOX From what he laughingly dubbed “the middle of nowhere Canada,” Robert Pattinson called in to Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Thursday morning (March 3) to chat about working with vampire babies in “Breaking Dawn” and animals in “Water for Elephants,” an upcoming drama in which — taking an inadvertent cue from Taylor Lautner’s “Twilight” character — he plays a man named Jacob. “It is quite funny. After I read it, that was actually one of my main concerns — my only concern,” Pattinson said of taking on the role. “The fact that he’s Polish — Jacob Jankowski — kind of takes away from it. It’s very different from ‘Twilight.’ ” The British actor described “Water for Elephants” as a “big, beautiful, old-fashioned love story” set in a 1930s circus and starring himself and Reese Witherspoon as “lovers.” We got our first look at footage from the new movie, which hits theaters April 22, late last year, and more official video footage is slated to pop up online on Thursday. Of working with elephants, Pattinson said, “They’re the most sophisticated, gentle creatures you could possibly hope to work with.” He was less forthcoming about working with those much-discussed vampire babies in “Breaking Dawn.” “It’s all secret. I’m going to get beaten if I say anything,” he laughed. When Seacrest pointed out that he read about the young vampires in the current issue of Vanity Fair, in an interview with RPattz himself, the actor responded, “Oh really? That’s why I got beaten last night!” Pattinson said he’s got two more months of shooting in Canada on “Breaking Dawn” before heading straight into the press tour for “Water for Elephants.” There will be no post-“Twilight” vacation for the guy, but he doesn’t seem to mind. “I’m just about catching up to where it took off,” he said of adjusting to his fame. “I’m pretty happy about the way things have gone.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Water for Elephants.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com .
