Source: VH1 / VH1 Evelyn Tossed In The Bushes The Basketball Wives crew had quite a trip to Costa Rica where things got out of hand very quickly. Evelyn is still trying to bully OG, so she and Malaysia tried to pile on her to continue their weeks of wanting smoke. Cece, who had been fighting with Kristen like cats and dogs, had also called Evelyn a b**** the night before. This showed that she could stand up to Evelyn and we know what happens when people stand up to Evelyn. During the big argument, Cece cut the convo short and walked off. Evelyn ran after CeCe like she wanted to fight and chaos prevailed. OG tried to break things up and after some shuffling around, Evelyn falls directly into the bushes. LOL! This is one of the funniest moments of Evelyn’s reality career and she might not live this down…take a look at the comedy. Bitch I'm weak!!! Evelyn, girl…… I hope you found those two Ls you took while you were down there. #bbwla #basketballwives #basketballwivesla pic.twitter.com/AOucAZ2MEa — (@CourtneySays_) September 26, 2019
Source: Michael Tullberg / Getty The drama is high with the cast of Basketball Wives , this after a taping of a reunion show went awry. Evelyn Lozada apparently has some beef with co-star Ogom “OG” Chijindu , prompting some close to her in advising her to take out a restraining order. The Blast reports : Sources tell The Blast, the reunion show for “Basketball Wives” was shot last week. We’re told production constructed two different sets on the stage. They wanted to avoid any confrontations and keep ladies apart who had issues. The main set was for Shaunie O’Neal, Evelyn, Malaysia Pargo, Jackie Christie, Kristen Scott and Feby Torres. The smaller set was for Tami Roman, Cece Gutierrez and Ogom “OG” Chijindu. We’re told Roman called out sick days before the taping. Sources on set tell The Blast, once OG arrived to set she “lost it”. Sources say she went off on production and cast members, upset she wasn’t seated at the main stage. OG allegedly told producers she refused to tape the reunion. She walked away from set and the reunion went along filming. We’re told she eventually came back and filmed the reunion, after seeing the show was going on without her. Following the reunion, OG began barraging Lozada with angry messages on social media. The posts about Lozada have been nonstop with some retweets mentioning violence. Fans of the show have sided with both ladies in this simmering feud, with some noting that Lozada has insulted Chijindu’s looks in the past, but that was countered with chatter that OG herself has engaged in similar comments alongside Tami Roman. The outlet adds that sources say OG has been a problem for cast members and even got into it with the host of the reunion taping. — Photo: Getty
Source: Michael Tullberg / Getty The longest game of telephone continues on tonight’s episode of Basketball Wives . The episode pretty much centers around the drama that’s about to go down at Kristen’s upcoming 90s sitcom-themed costume skating party. There’s going to be some fun get-ups at that, like Malaysia as a Clover from Bring it On, Evelyn Lozada as Peggy Bundy, and Feby and Kristen in different iterations of Ashley Banks. But hold that thought. We start the episode with OG being mad at CeCe, who won’t own what she said about OG. They definitely need to talk, and they will eventually. Then we find Jackie telling Jenn and OG that she got a string of DM’s from some man in Atlanta who that said Jenn was saying derogatory things about Malaysia’s kids and finances. Jenn said she doesn’t know what she’s talking about and that the man is lying, of course. So we’ll see where this goes. Jackie, Feby, and Evelyn get together for a pole dancing class but they don’t really pole dance. This is more about them having a kiki. Evelyn mentions that Tami has been working with her daughter on her rap career. That’s when Feby thinks it’s cute to start with the shady talk. You already know, Feby starts shading Tami’s age. She says it’s good that Tami is working with her daughter because it means she’s acknowledging that past her prime. Then Evelyn brings up what Jackie mentioned about Jenn allegedly talking smack about Malaysia. Jackie says she doesn’t want to repeat what the man said but she will give Evelyn his number so she can hear it from him. Evelyn calls the man. The first thing he does is start screaming and acting like a dang groupie, so obviously, his credibility is trash. Anyway, he says that Jenn told Dominique that Malaysia has no money, can’t afford to live in LA, she’s a bad mom, and that she got put out of her house, but that Dominique is also running her mouth. This is the word around Atlanta. Hold that thought. OG finally confronts CeCe and says she hates that CeCe isn’t owning what she said and that she keeps dancing around the issue. CeCe continued dancing around the issue and even said that it crossed her mind that Kristen created a fake text. Anyway, we finally get to the part where CeCe finally admits that she probably did talk trash. It came at a time when she was cool with Kristen and didn’t know OG so she was just riding for family. CeCe acknowledges that what she said was messed up and finally owns it. She apologizes and they both move on with their friendship mended because OG understood the circumstances under which CeCe said what she said. Now we’re at the part where Jackie tells Kristen about Jenn spreading rumors about Malaysia. Obviously, Kristen is going to run back to Malaysia and tell her what’s up…at the most inappropriate moment. Hold that thought because this is also the moment when Jackie tells Tami how Feby was talking ageist crap about her. Notice how Jackie is all up in the mix of everyone’s drama? Guess those crystals have a weak signal or something. Tami gets her moment to confront Feby. Basically, Tami is meeting with a dialect coach so she can learn how to talk with a British accent. She invited Feby and OG and goes in after class. Tami directly asks Feby what she said. Feby backtracks again. She said she never said Jackie was too old to be rapping, which is true, but she still lied about talking trash. Instead of being direct, Feby tries to deflect by telling OG that Evelyn was talking smack about her feet hanging out of her shoes. OG thinks that’s childish, which it is, and says she’s going to remain unbothered. Then Feby says Jenn was talking smack about Tami too. Later on, OG goes back and tells Jackie that Feby said she twisted her words around and she’s tired of her being messy. Here we go. Now it’s time for the party! Let’s look at some of these get-ups before we get into the drama! View this post on Instagram Legendary A post shared by Evelyn Lozada (@evelynlozada) on Aug 14, 2019 at 7:40pm PDT These women are catty af, but they sure do know how to show up and show out! Evelyn especially nailed that Peggy Bundy look. Ok, let’s get into the drama at the party. Kristen jumps right into the smack that Jennifer and Dominique have been (allegedly) talking about Malaysia and her kids. Malaysia wants specifics so when Jenn and Dominique walk in she wastes no time asking what was said. Jenn and Dominique deny ever talking about her.. Malaysia leaves it alone for now and even Evelyn says she thinks they’re telling the truth. Then Jackie comes in and by now they realize she’s the common denominator. Malaysia confronts her and everything goes downhill. They end up in each other’s faces, nose to nose, bickering back and forth. Security eventually pulls them apart but Jackie’s friend, some random man, starts popping off and makes things worse. And we end the episode with Jackie grabbing a chair and trying to throw it at Malaysia. Source: Robin L Marshall / Getty Basketball Wives picks up right from the fall out of OG blowing up Kristen’s spot about Kristen and her husband not being real Scotts. Kristen calls her man to tell him how she’s going to beat up CeCe and OG (as if anyone is actually afraid of her). CeCe tells OG that she didn’t have to weaponize sensitive information that was revealed in private. Then CeCe starts crying and talking about how she didn’t mean for things to go this way. Trying to play innocent when this is probably what her inner thoughts look like: Shaunie, Malaysia, Evelyn, and Feby are just looking at OG like… They really don’t like her anyway, so they’re making it a point to tell her how dead wrong she is, yatta yatta. But they’re also giving CeCe the side eye because she’s the one who put the battery in OG’s back by talking trash about Kristen and their family to her. Obviously, the family drama is deep. Malaysia probably didn’t really know what she was getting into bringing them on the show. You know how you have relatives that you’re cool with but you might not see or talk to that often, so you don’t always know what’s going on with them? That’s what this kind of seems like. So, bringing them on Basketball Wives might not have been such a good idea after all. No one wins when the family feuds. Sorry, couldn’t resist. Tami meets up with OG and Jackie another day and is on OG’s side. So, when Jackie is trying to explain what happened and how OG is wrong, Tami pushes back. This causes them to go back and forth, and Jackie gets really pissed when Tami calls her fake. Tami’s thing is that Jackie has been involved in lots of they petty mean girl stuff so why is she trying to chastise OG now? Later on, Tami kicks it with Jackie, Shaunie, and OG and once again, they talk about the drama. Now it’s Shaunie’s turn to tell OG how wrong she was and that she comes off as too aggressive sometimes. But wait, has Shaunie ever called any of the other wild cassowaries on this show aggressive? Tami used to bully newbies all the time and Shaunie would stand off to the side with that smirk on her face. Or how about Evelyn, running across tables to fight people? Did Shaunie ever chastise any of them? Anyway, OG owns up to being wrong about revealing that information, which she is, but she said she’s backing off and plans to work on herself. The good news is that Jackie and Tami work things out but Tami still doesn’t like how everyone has been treating OG so she’s going to have a brunch where everyone can come and discuss. Because that’s going to go well. Part of why Tami seems to have such a soft spot for OG is that she feels like OG is a target and that she can relate. In Tami’s mind, she has also been ganged up on and have had these women say mean things about her. Kind of true, but also kind of not. There have been mean things said about Tami by women she was beefing with at the moment, but no one ganged up on her (because they’re scared), and it’s not like Tami was ever innocent. Anyway, Tami starts the talk. We get to a point where Kristen and OG are going back and forth, as expected. Kristen says that OG felt the need to say what she said to be hurtful. That is true, but OG denies this. OG says she got the info from CeCe and Byron while at dinner with them and that Byron told her that people know this information (uh, yeah, close family) and that it would be totally fine if she ever had to pass that information on to anyone else. Anyway, Kristen asks OG why she has a problem with her. OG says she doesn’t have a problem with Kristen but that Kristen has a problem with her , and now everyone is either like wtf or just looking at her all kinds of sideways (or both). Neither Kristen nor OG is actually wrong. They respectively have a problem with each other. Anyway, Malaysia tells Cece that she felt that CeCe was talking trash about Kristen to OG so that OG would do what she did. CeCe denies this. Then Kristen asks CeCe how she would feel if Byon’s children didn’t show up to the wedding. CeCe says she doesn’t care. She only cares about Byron and this is the last time Kristen is going to see her. Yeah, this brunch wasn’t productive. So now Malaysia feels like she has to go to Byron himself. Malaysia confronts Byon and tells him everything that happened. He said he did give that information to CeCe and OG, but it’s not like it’s a secret secret , even though only a few select people know. Malaysia asks if he told OG to run back and tell everyone, which is not quite what OG said he said, but mmmkay. Anyway, he denies this. He also says he knows CeCe isn’t innocent in this, but that she was tired of getting attacked, which is valid. Then she asks about his beef with Kristen. He repeats that he’s mad at Kristen for making him look like a bad grandfather and that’s why he said what he said. Lordt. Messy. Boots. Nothing gets resolved this episode so come back next week for more. Source: Hollywood To You/Star Max / Getty Tonight we pick up Basketball Wives from the aftermath of Shaunie giving Jennifer a hug. Yup. Shaunie got over her animosity toward Jennifer to try to convince Evelyn to come around too, but Evelyn isn’t having it. She says Jenn can use her mom dying as an excuse to be a jerk all she wants but it won’t change the fact that she was talking smack about Shaniece since before her mother died. In other words, Evelyn is not ready to come around and that’s that. Later on, we find Malaysia kicking it with CeCe and OG. The latter two have been besties lately, so much so that OG rolls her eyes when Malaysia mentions Kristen’s name. OG feels some type of way about Kristen due to their tiff at last season’s reunion (Kristen tried to shame her for not being married or having kids), but also because CeCe has been filling her in about her drama. The general sentiment, outside of Malaysia, is that Kristen is fake. This starts getting under Malaysia’s skin because she feels like CeCe has been telling OG stuff that she’s not telling everyone else, which is counterproductive to her mission of trying to get her family on the same page. This is going to blow up in a major way. In other news, Tami Roman is still around. She has been pulling a Kim Zolciak this season — you know — not wanting to really participate in filming with the other women. However, she does address Kenny Anderon’s stroke. She and her daughters are saddened by it. Speaking of her daughters, they feel like the only thing worse would be if something happens to her and so, they request that she stop smoking. Later on, Tami goes to a hypnotist because she has tried everything else in the world to give up smoking…except for this. Progress pending, because Tami fell asleep during the session. Finally, we get to the part of the episode where everything falls apart. Evelyn’s new business venture involves a skincare line formulated with CBD. So, we’re at the part where Evelyn brings the group together to test out her products, but the real reason we’re here is so that OG and Kristen can face off. It all goes downhill when OG walks in and Malaysia decides to be messy by bringing up when OG said that Kristen was fake. Malaysia also asks CeCe if she said something to OG in private that she shouldn’t have said. Basically, OG mentioned that she feels like CeCe tells her the truth about how she feels, but tells everyone else that everything is okay and that she and Kirsten are fine. Lies. Anyway, CeCe said she didn’t say anything off to OG at all and that they don’t even talk about Kristen when they hang out. OG feels like she’s holding on to a piece of anger from CeCe that CeCe is hesitant to share. Then OG finally decides to stop holding back and calls Kristen fake. Then she unloads more about how Kristen borrowed clothes and shoes from CeCe. They obviously start arguing and then OG blurts that Kristen and Thomas aren’t real Scotts because the man we’ve been seeing on camera thus far isn’t Thomas’ actual dad, but they just want the world to think they’re basketball royalty (Byron actually raised Thomas though). Kristen starts wilding out, She calls OG’s man gay, and starts trying to get at OG like she wants to try to fight but she gets restrained (and OG definitely isn’t scared). Shaunie steps in and chastises OG, talking about how she’s out of line and it’s not her place to reveal personal secrets like this, yatta yatta. Shaunie, Malaysia, and Feby try to keep Kristen at bay since they don’t have Love and Hip-Hop levels of security, and Jackie tells OG she’s out of line. CeCe said OG obviously threw that out to hurt Kristen but that the info isn’t a secret so she’s surprised about Kristen’s reaction. Meanwhile, Shaunie continues telling OG how wrong she was until OG said that CeCe gave her this info. Then Shaunie goes out and tells Kristen that Cece passed that info to OG. This causes Kristen to try to go charging back in the room. She gets restrained, but then. Malaysia goes back in to confront CeCe because she just asked if CeCe had told OG any secrets. CeCe admits to spilling the tea but added that it’s not a secret and she’s actually surprised that Kristen is acting the way she is. Y’all, Kristen is kicking, screaming, and in tears as if this was the first time she heard this news about her man. Then Malaysia starts going off on OG because she feels like OG is trying to keep her family apart. Now everyone thinks CeCe has been playing puppet master all this time. They think CeCe told OG all this stuff because she knew OG would be the one to put this stuff out there and say the things CeCe is too afraid to say. Wouldn’t be the first time for someone on this show to do that. Anyway, the petty drama returns next week. Source: Prince Williams / Getty Malaysia Pargo is attempting to introduce her relatives, Kristen and Cece to the fray on Basketball Wives , and we find all of the above, plus Jackie Christie, at dinner having a kiki. But let’s clear some things up real quick. Kristen’s husband Thomas Scott, who is Byron Scott’s son. Cece is Byron’s wife, Byron is Malaysia’s cousin, and Malaysia is crazy enough to be friends with Jackie, so that’s where all these connections connecting. Speaking of Cece, Evelyn, at various points in the episode, told Jen and eventually Kirsten that Cece was enticing men from her gym to come to her medical spa for happy endings. Evelyn alleges that this information came from other people who worked out at the same gym. Let’s hold on to this thought because we all know it’s going to get messy, especially because Jen starts repeating it like the parrot that she is. via GIPHY Fast forward a bit. Tami tells her boyfriend that Shaunie told her that Evelyn is back in town and that Evelyn does a good Tami impersonation. Tami thinks Evelyn is obsessed with her. She’s also not too cool on Jennifer because she thinks the fact that Jennifer is friends with Evelyn again, after falling out with her and talking mad smack, makes her fake. Speaking of Evelyn, Jackie is still pissed that Chantelle talked to her at the Mardi Gras party. This is so dumb. Moving forward, Kristen, Jackie, and Cece take a Polynesian dance class but the real point of this is gossip. After class, Kristen plays carrier pigeon and tells Cece what Evelyn said about her. Cece is obviously pissed, says the rumors aren’t true and plans to confront Evelyn. Jackie takes this info to Malaysia and Tami over dinner. You know how this goes, gossip, gossip, and more gossip because these grown women are perpetually in the mental state of high school. Malaysia feels some type of way about this because Cece is technically family, and of course she plans to get everyone together to discuss this. First Malaysia asks Cece if it’s true. Cece says it’s not true. But like, who would admit to this anyway? Now we find Jackie, Cece, Malaysia, Tami, Kristen, and Jennifer together for drinks. Things immediately jump off when Tami refers to Jennifer as Messy Mona for her involvement in spreading these rumors and because she just thinks she’s fake. They cut to the chase and confront Jen about this. Issa ambush. Jen is quick to say it’s not a rumor that came from her and that they were really just joking about it. Cece is being calm enough to receive Jen’s message, which is obviously unusual for this group, but Malaysia and Jackie seem to think that Cece needs to be acting like a wild banshee. Granted, Cece should be upset because as we all know, rumors can damage people’s reputations, especially a rumor like this because the insinuation is that Cece is a prostitute. Nothing gets resolved in this situation because the source of this rumor isn’t present. Tami eventually leaves, because she’s booked and busy now, and Jen follows her out to talk to her one on one since that didn’t happen inside the restaurant. Tami tells Jen that it’s not a good look to be the bone carrier and that she needs to stop being messy. Jen says she was just trying to figure out who Cece is. [Insert Jen’s fake bourgie voice] “I mean, is she a homewrecker or a prostitute?” and Tami, metaphorical guns blazing, quipped that Jen is already around that with Evelyn. via GIPHY Tami tells Jen not to be on the wrong side of Basketball Wives history with this one and to give Cece a chance, and that’s that. But it’s never that simple. There will be more drama next week when this rumor comes up again because Evelyn can’t not film with them forever.
