This Is America: School District Reportedly Denies Strip Searching 4 Black Girls After Accusing Them Of Drug Possession

Source: Caiaimage/Robert Daly / Getty Parents Demand Answers After 4 Young Black Girls Were Allegedly Stripped Searched At School According to the Boston Globe , an upstate New York school district denied that four 12-year-old girls were subjected to strip searches in their middle school nurse’s office. A media circus and over 200 parents came  forward after an allegation of the girls, who are all black, were allegedly questioned and strip-searched by the school nurse and assistant principal because they “seemed giddy” during their lunch hour and were suspected of possessing drugs . The mob of community members were present at a school board meeting to demand answers and disciplinary action against staff members but were met with a statement from the school district that said, ‘‘There has been a lot of misinformation being spread through social media from third parties. No students were strip-searched, nor were they punished.’’ The local NAACP is demanding accountability measures.   Continue reading →

The champion boxer failed to show up in Broward County court earlier this week and the judge was tired of the disrespect so a warrant was issued for his immediate arrest. Broner was arrested for speeding, not having a driver’s license, registration or proof of insurance. The reason for the court date was an arrest that took place back in Dec. of 2017 and this is reportedly the third time he has bob & weave’d this court appearance. Broner has a storied history of run ins with the law, he’s already been arrested multiple times for the same issue. Also back in April of 2017, the boxer was arrested for having an open warrant in connection to three-year-old public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges. This is just another L Broner has taken in a matter of weeks; having lost in a unanimous decision to a Manny Pacquiao almost twice his age.   Continue reading →

Undercard fighter Badou Jack ‘s wig was split open on live TV over the weekend, causing him to need 25 stitches according to The Sun . The ring and referee Tony Weeks were left bloody because of the nasty gash – yet amazingly Jack was able to fight for six rounds while leaking all over the place. Welp, Badou lost the fight but his face is doing fine. The boxer showed off his stitched up mug on Instagram. Meanwhile, the 35-year-old family man is spending healing time with his lady Yasemin and their two kids. Yasemin let fans and friends know that her hubby is strong and doing just fine. That was because he said when it comes to his baby mama Ciara, and Russell Wilson’s now wife, the NFL QB “do exactly what she tell him to do.” Now it seems that the Seattle Seahawks star took the high road and clapped back at the same damn time. Yesterday (Jan. 19), Wilson posted a photo Sienna, his daughter with Ciara, and Future Jr., his stepson and Future’s biological son, rubbing noses on the floor. The adorable pic was captioned, “All that matters. #Love.” Safe bet Future, who is in a custody battle with Ciara, wasn’t too happy when he saw that. So far nothing from Ciara, and don’t expect anything since she’s been letting the lawyers handle all the mess.

Denzel Washington Slams Meme, Needs to Lighten Up

Turns out, there's one thing Denzel Washington can do even better than act. And that is this: Not possess a sense of humor. The Oscar-winning actor sat down for an interview this week alongside director Antoine Fuqua, the man behind the camera for Denzel's next film, The Magnificent Seven. It opens on September 23. In the following clip, Washington is asked about the meme that spread around the Internet last year after Washington showed up for the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao boxing match with quite an impressive mustache. He was also wearing the sort of track suit one would not expect to see on Denzel Washington. You remember that meme, right? Here is one example of it: And here is another: And here is another: Pretty funny, right? Not to Denzel. When asked for his thoughts on the meme, Washington replied as follows: “If I had my wallet, I’d show it to you. Because they didn’t know what I was doing. They don’t need to know.” We're not entirely sure what the first part of that statement means. But Denzel was NOT smiling when he uttered it. The mustache was for this role in The Magnificent Seven, which Washington then used as a platform to sit down and preach. “Those who can, do. Those who can’t , talk about those who can ,” he said. “Are you just one that sits on the sideline to talk about other people, or can you step up?” He was so proud of this statement that he said it twice to the interviewer, just to make sure he got it all in order to Tweet it to his followers. Sheesh! Sorry, Denzel. Sorry we tried to have a bit of fun with your facial hair. We'll never make that mistake again and we'll take a long, hard look in the mirror in order to reassess our life. Manny Pacquiao Says Gay People Are Worse Than Animals Boxing star Manny Pacquiao apologized today for stating that gay relationships were as “worse than animals” but stands by his opposition to same-sex marriage according to ESPN reports: Fellow Filipino celebrities were among those criticizing his remarks, made when a TV network asked candidates about their views on same-sex marriage. “It’s just common sense,” Pacquiao said in the remarks posted online by the TV5 network. “Have you seen any animal having male-to-male or female-to-female relations?” Animals, he said, were better because they recognize gender differences, and “if you have male-to-male or female-to-female [relationships], then people are worse than animals.” Among those who reacted strongly was popular gay comedian and TV host Jose Marie Viceral, known as Vice Ganda. Vice Ganda tweeted that lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders are humans, not animals. He said that they’re not saints but that they’ll pray for the boxer, who is widely acclaimed for bringing his country honors. Vice Ganda posted a picture of Pope Francis, suggesting that even the beloved leader of the Roman Catholic church does not condemn gays.
