Cassie Makes Film Debut In “The Perfect Match” Cassie Ventura was the guest of honor at a private dinner in NYC celebrating her movie debut in “The Perfect Match.” Diddy’s gal pal joined some of her closest friends and the city’s movers and shakers for a private dinner, hosted by Pynk Magazine, at District CoWork in the Flatiron District. In between taking selfies with guests and hamming it up in the photo booth, Cassie thanked the guests for supporting her in the lead role. The singer showcased her quirky style with large braids, a long white button down shirt that hung over slouchy black pants and Givenchy sandals with socks. Spotted at the fete were The Fashion Bomb Daily’s Claire Sulmers, Basketball Wives’ Meeka Claxton and comedian Rae Holliday. Reality Star Has 14 Days To Hand The SUV Over A Long Island judge ordered Basketball Wives star Meeka Claxton to surrender the Range Rover she was behind the wheel in when cops popped her for drunk driving. Meeka now has two weeks to hand over the keys to the vehicle to the police department after a judge ruled she must forfeit the SUV as part of her punishment for DUI. Back in June 2014, Nassau County Police arrested the reality star and estranged wife to NBA star Speedy Claxton, charging her with aggravated DWI – which means her blood alcohol level was above .18. According to court records, Meeka (real name Khameka), was also charged with failure to stay in single lane, changing lanes when hazardous, driving on shoulder and slopes and illegal signal. Police pulled Meeka over while driving a 2008 Range Rover, which was registered to a man named Steven Claxton – it’s unclear of his relationship to Speedy aka Craig Claxton. She later pled guilty to the DWI charge after reaching a deal with prosecutors. However, the criminal case wasn’t even the worst news for Meeka. Nassau County then slapped her with a lawsuit demanding the seizure of the Range Rover she was driving while allegedly intoxicated.

The YBF recently caught up with both ladies at a PYNK Magazine-sponsored pole fitness event hosted by Jen and Mashonda. Among other things, they asked short-lived BBW cast member Meeka Claxton her thoughts on Laura Govan’s recent comments that Shaunie is ruining the show with “hoes.” Check out her response below. “It’s the truth. Besides Jennifer and myself there wasn’t any [actual wives]. I’m rich. She definitely wasn’t talking about me. My man got a championship ring. She definitely wasn’t talking about us. I got the ring. The wives ring. I agree with her.
