Following six months in the news and six months under medical care, Bobbi Kristina Brown died on Sunday evening. The only daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston was only 22 years old. View Slideshow: Bobbi Kristina Brown: Mourned, Honored on Twitter “It is hard to say goodbye,” the official Whitney Houston Facebook page wrote in response to the sad news, adding: “Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully. The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers. As Bobbi Kristina would say: ‘The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face.'” Bobbi Kristina fell unconscious in her bathtub on January 31 and was placed in a medically-induced coma shortly afterward. She never woke up and finally passed away at a hospice care facility after doctors told family members that she had no chance for recovery. Now, Entertainment Tonight confirms that a funeral service will be held this week in Atlanta for Bobbi, after which her body will be flown to New Jersey. Once there, she will be buried alongside her mother . Whitney, of course, died on February 11, 2012. In an eerie coincidence, her body was also discovered in a bathtub, as the artist died of a drug overdose inside The Beverly Hills Hotel. Bobbi Kristina was 18 years old at the time of her mother’s passing.
