Good news first: MGM must have read Moveline’s list of films that can never be remade! Whew! But now for the bad news: We forgot to include Robocop and Poltergeist , and now reboots/sequels for these classics are on MGM’ s post-bankruptcy list of projects in development. They would also like to remake Mr. Mom and Taylor Hackford’s The Idolmaker . But hey, at least they’ve got one original project in the pipeline… Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters . In 3-D. Good news first, because we all need it: Some more information has emerged about the film, a 3D animated whatsit we teamed up to learn more about last week. Apparently it opens Friday, and now, not a minute too soon, there’s some real promotion happening. The bad news: It involves using your iPhone or other smart-phone device while the movie is playing .
