Larry Birkhead, Dannielynn Honor Anna Nicole Smith

The world has been very critical of Larry Birkhead's apparent exploitation of his daughter, Dannielynn , accusing him of Anna Nicole Smith's life and death for goodwill. And, of course, for cash. But we've seen less of him, lately. The last time he was really on our radar was, what, when he went on Hollywood Medium ? Now he and Dannielynn — who is now 11 years old — are back in a video (below) showing their adventures together as Anna Nicole's daughter visits the land of her birth: The Bahamas. Anna Nicole Smith was a sweet woman who died too young. After an epic battle in which multiple men claimed paternity of her infant daughter, it was determined that Larry had fathered Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead. Larry hasn't always been viewed as the best father. Notably, he signed Dannielynn up for modeling when she was six years old . (In case you've forgotten, Anna Nicole herself was a troubled ex-model, and it's widely believed that she'd still be alive today if she hadn't been thrust into the spotlight as she was) Dannielynn is 11 years old, now. (Anybody else feeling super old?) And Larry Birkhead decided that it was high time that he take her on a trip to the Bahamas, where she was born. Whether he did it for Dannielynn or to get his face on camera again … well, that's hard to know. But the video's very sweet. In the video, Larry Birkhead does most (nearly all) of the talking to Us Weekly 's cameras as he and Dannielynn explore the Bahamas . “This trip back for Dannielynn is kind of special because she doesn’t really know a whole lot about the place where she was born.” That sounds like a plausible reason to go. “When Dannielynn was little and I used to bring her here, the people used to come out screaming, ‘The people’s princess Dannielynn is here,’ cause it was such a big deal about her birth here, and they embrace her and they come up and ask for pictures and stuff all the time.” Well, it's not Dannielynn's fault that a rich white child getting called a “princess” within the Caribbean is … awkward. Also, a couple of women did ask for a selfie. Larry talks about the wonderful things that Anna Nicole did with her wealth. “She was charitable and she did a lot of things for people that people don’t know.” She was, by all accounts, a total sweetheart. “I’m still getting these cards from kids that she supported overseas and they didn’t know she was Anna Nicole, but they’d come to have found out later.” That is precious. He takes Dannielynn to a pastel pink courthouse. The very courthouse where he won his paternity case. “I remember coming out of this door right here and they said, ‘You can take Dannielynn home to Kentucky or wherever you’re gonna move.’ And I came out, I was so happy.” Larry Birkhead tells the cameras about Dannielynn. “She likes scary movies, like her mom. She likes to do roller coasters and fun things like her mom used to.” She also has a beautiful smile. As for her current interests … they're very age-appropriate. “Dannielynn is more interested in wanting to be a YouTuber and make her own videos, so those are the types of things that she’s interested in.” She's beautiful and young and famous, which describes a lot of YouTubers. (We don't imagine that she's a horrifying racist like certain YouTubers have turned out to be) “I still have to warn her that, you know, your friend might have a YouTube account, but if you have a YouTube account that’s different, because people know who you are.” That is a somewhat clumsily worded version of very good advice. Honestly, if and when Dannielynn gets her own YouTube channel (what a gift that would be), comments might need to be disabled. There are some real creeps who would love nothing more than to upset a famous tween girl. Larry continues describe what it's like being Dannielynn's parent. “Sometimes you feel like a bodyguard, sometimes you feel like a chauffeur.” That's, well, that's what parenting is like. “It depends on what the day is. But my job is dad and I think I’ve done a pretty good job. She’s adjusted to it and she’s just a normal kid.” Dannielynn seems obsessed with her phone, which is relatable  and  age-appropriate. Here's the video in its entirety:

Selena Gomez: Being a Famous Teen Was CREEPY!

Recently, Selena Gomez made the cover of Time magazine and talked about what the word “strength” means to her. Separately, she also shared a rare photo of herself with her boyfriend, The Weeknd . But that’s not all. Now, Selena is opening up about feeling “violated” as a teen starlet — and telling the world about what it felt like to fall in love for the first time. Selena Gomez sat down with  The Business of Fashion  this week and talked about  her experiences as a young performer . For one thing, she doesn’t know what it’s like to  not  be an entertainer. “I’ve been doing it since I was seven. To be honest, I don’t think I know anything different.” That’s amazing, right? She also talks about how her mom always looked out for her. “She was very aware, for some reason, of what could happen to me.” That’s a parent’s first job, really. A lot of young stars are prime targets for people who want to exploit their careers and overwork them. Tragically, some young stars — who might experience unusual levels of independence for their ages — are targeted by sexual predators within the entertainment industry. Selena’s mom also didn’t fall into the “Stage Mom” trap. “She always said to me that I should have fun, and if it wasn’t fun or if I wasn’t learning something or I wasn’t growing as a person, she wanted to take me out of it.” Have any of you ever had to deal with stage moms? For a summer job that I had as a teenager, I once had to deal with a mother who wanted her preschool age daughter to perform on stage because, even though it is dangerous for children that young to be up on a stage and they don’t really need the pressure of performing. We’re glad that Selena had a much better experience. Being in this business, she says, became more difficult as she got older. “I was actually more confident when I was younger than I am now. I think it changed when I started getting known for things that weren’t [related to] my work… When I was younger, it was all fun to me.” That makes sense. When she became a huge celebrity, Selena became the subject of gossip. “When I did state fairs and 100 people would show up, I would be stoked. That was the best feeling in the world. But when I got older, I started to become exposed to the truth behind some stuff and that’s when it flipped a little bit.” It sounds like there was more than public perception at play with her disappointment as she got older, though. “I realized, ‘Oh this is actually really hard, and kind of slimy in certain areas,’ and I didn’t realize that certain people wanted certain things from me. My confidence went through a lot with that.” If you think that that sounds creepy, you’re right. “I remember just feeling really violated when I was younger, even just being on the beach. I was maybe 15 or 16 and people were taking pictures — photographers. I don’t think anyone really knew who I was. But I felt very violated and I didn’t like it or understand it.” There’s a difference between going “hey, that girl’s gorgeous” and taking a bunch of creepy pictures of her while she’s minding her own business. Some of that exposure comes with being a celebrity. But at 15, Selena shouldn’t have had to deal with that. “That felt very weird, because I was a young girl and they were grown men. I didn’t like that feeling.” When she was 18, though, Selena experienced a turning point. She was still starring on Wizards of Waverly Place (which was a charming show — no iCarly , but miles ahead of Hannah Montana ), and she felt like she needed to stretch her legs. “I didn’t feel like it was about my art as much. I was on the fourth season of the show, and I felt like I was outgrowing it. I wanted something different and obviously, I fell in love for the first time.” Some people never fall in love, of course. Either they’re aromantic or they just never meet the right people or get to form the right connections. But while most people do fall in love multiple times, it’s rare for anyone’s first love to be as famous as Selena Gomez’s romance with Justin Bieber. We’re really glad that she’s moved on since those days. And so, we’re sure, is she. View Slideshow: Selena Gomez Magazine Covers: Which Look is Best?

Nicole Walters Rants About "Fancy" Bus Stop Moms, Wins Our Hearts

If you haven't yet seen this suburban mom's viral rant about “bus stop moms,” then you're missing out an on experience . As you can see in the video below, Nicole Walters is funny. She's just funny. Her viral rant isn't angry or defamatory, and countless people find it relatable. In related news, where can we get an “Oprah Wasn't Built In A Day” shirt? So, Nicole Walters went on a Facebook video rant about the “fancy” moms (her words) at her child's bust stop. Nicole is a married mother of three, and she and her family have only recently moved to the affluent suburban neighborhood. Her “rant” isn't vicious or heated as some of the “rant videos” that we've seen recently floating around the interwebs. Instead, her video reads more like stand-up comedy, but set in the environment that she describes. It's 8am, so she hasn't showered yet or dressed for the day. She sent her nanny to walk her child to the bus. (The nanny bit might not be relatable to everyone, but pretty much everything else about this should resonate with anyone familiar with suburban living) Sporting a shirt that reads: “Oprah Wasn't Built In A Day,” Nicole tells you exactly what she thinks of the other neighborhood moms. First, she's very direct and honest about her outfit. She's wearing a bonnet, she hasn't showered (she has washed her face though, which is more than most of us do before showering). She's wearing a loose-fitting, on brand tee shirt. She also looks great, honestly. She really knows how to work a camera, and we don't just mean operate one. The way that Nicole emotes throughout this video is pretty fantastic. It was, you see, her 6-year-old's first day of kindergarten. (Keep in mind that many kindergarten classes start two weeks later than fellow elementary schoolers) And Nicole just could not bring herself to go out and deal with the other moms at the bus stop. (Nicole points her camera at the “fancy” mom and at her own nanny as they return from the bus stop after seeing the children off) The bus stop moms are, you see, entirely too “fancy.” As she continues, you realize that it's not exactly the case that she's intimidated, though you'd understand it if someone did find these women intimidating. Nicole singles out one neighborhood mom in particular. “You don’t know how perfect she is. She’s so fancy. She’s so fancy. She’s skinny. She wears tennis clothes every day. Tennis clothes and a visor every day.” “Every day she wears that.” Nicole says that this unnamed woman “is just so good at life. She’s just so good at life.” Rather than being intimidated, though, it seems clear that Nicole is annoyed by their superficial conversations. She mocks the use of vocal fry in some of the other moms' voices, but mostly her teasing seems to be in good fun. We'll be honest, actually turning the camera on one of the moms, even from that distance, seemed a little invasive to us, right? The woman's not a public figure; she's just a mom seeing her kid off to school. But we have no idea who she is and, quite frankly, this funny video is a gift and we're glad to have gotten to witness it. See it for yourself:

Nicole Kidman Photoshoot Erotica is So Uncomfortable of the Day

I don’t know when these pictures of Nicole Kidman are from, I guess I never really locked in that Stellar Magazine subscription I always wanted, you know because I’m a degenerate who can’t afford things like fancy magazines that feature Nicole Kidman in them…especially not in an era of why kill the trees I will see all the weird slutty pics on the internet eventually.. Well, I can’t say I’d expect Nicole Kidman pictures to be anything but awkward, uncomfortable and weird…she is a robot that was created by scientology…before the technology was really there… But I can say, it’s nice to see that they made her waterproof…. She must be 60 years old by now, she seems to have been around forever, but I guess that could just be some alien programming shit that is making me think that…who knows… Good tits…though…better when she’s showing off that ginger bush….or transparent ginger nipples really…but I’ll take what I can get or what is given to me…that I feel compelled to post and say “what’s going on here”… The post Nicole Kidman Photoshoot Erotica is So Uncomfortable of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Celebrate Their 11th Anniversary!

Hollywood marriages aren’t always built to last. For a whole host of reasons, from busy schedules to way too many resources to certain temperaments to looks and wealth and rumors … celebrity relationships tend to crumble before our eyes. So it makes sense that when you last a long time, you want to show it off. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are doing just that with a series of adorable selfies — because they’re celebrating their 11th anniversary. To be clear, 11 years is a long time to stay together for a regular, run-of-the-mill, non-celebrity married couple. In Hollywood years, it’s like these two have been married for the better part of a century. But somehow Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban (the one who isn’t Nicole Kidman) have managed it. And they’ve done so despite major disagreements about where to live . That takes work. Then there’s the baggage that they have. We don’t just mean regular relationship baggage or fame baggage. We don’t even mean the fact that the Oscar-winning actress and the Crunchy … sorry, Country music singer come from different worlds. (Like, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are closer than ever and they also come from different worlds) Nicole Kidman also had a famous relationship with Tom Cruise. The rest of her life is haunted by the specter of Scientology. She doesn’t speak about the Church, but we all know how this works. The kids that she and Tom adopted together are still Scientologists. They’re adults, but were Nicole to ever speak ill of the Church or very likely of Tom, she’d be declared a Suppressive Person, and she’d never get to see them. It can be a strain to be interviewed constantly and have to give a tight-lipped smile when people ask about a subject that makes you want to scream. And that tension from walking a verbal tightrope can impact both members of a couple. But it looks like they’re not letting it touch them. Also, though they’re both celebrities, there’s something of a fame disparity between the two. Because Nicole Kidman isn’t a niche celebrity. She’s, you know, world-famous as an actress. Toby Keith sometimes gets confused with another Country singer by people who aren’t in that particular music fandom. Remember, Keith Urban is the one married to Nicole Kidman. Toby Keith  is the one who played for an all-male audience in Saudi Arabia. (Toby Keith Urban is their fused state, and can fly, but they only combine in real emergencies) But Keith and Nicole look happy and also way younger than they actually are. Because Nicole is 50 and Keith is 49. Does time mean nothing to these two? Yeah, these two are really adorable. Some other couples have lasted for a really long time, but in a world where Brangelina is divorcing , staying married means really beating the odds. (Though rumor has it that Brad Pitt is hoping to win back Angelina Jolie , so … we’ll see how that goes) Yeah, these are really adorable. Also, who says that old people can’t be cute, you know? And, not for nothing, but this is such a level-headed, grounded way of celebrating an anniversary. As far as we know, they didn’t swim around in a champagne pool or do any other ridiculous rich people stuff. When you’re together for over a decade, sometimes happiness with your partnership is just enough , you know? You don’t need all of the rest.

Kendall Jenner See Through of the Day

I think it’s safe to say that we all collectively wish Robert Kardashian, OJ’s friend and the accomplice in the Nicole Brown Murders, because he got rid of the evidence, followed his best friend who basically ruined his life, and did a little OJ himself…killing off the entire Kardashian clan, starting with his teen whore wife who left him for Bruce Jenner before he became a woman, and all of their kids…before killing himself… I mean he died anyway, he might as well had done some good, rather than the evil legacy he leaves behind… Instead we’re forced to look at their nipples..
