Edward Furlong: JAILED For Violating Restraining Order

Edward Furlong was thrown in jail today after allegedly violating a protective order that barred him from contacting his estranged wife, Rachael Kneeland. It’s unclear how or when Ed violated the order, but he was in court today after being accused of doing so, and a judge remanded him into custody. The judge angrily accused him of not taking the stay-away order seriously and told him he belongs in a lockdown rehab facility for substance abuse. Furlong was placed on three years probation back in 2010 when he pleaded no contest to violating a protective order that was obtained by Kneeland. He was required to obey the order throughout his probation. Clearly, he has had an extremely difficult time doing so. Compounding the actor’s legal problems right now: Furlong was arrested twice in the last four months for allegedly roughing up his current girlfriend. A formal probation violation hearing is set for March 4. He will remain behind bars until then.

Lindsay Lohan May Face Jail

According to the media reports, “Mean Girls” actress Lindsay Lohan was ordered to attend a probation hearing which may lead to jail time for reportedly missing alcohol education classes imposed for a 2007 drunken driving case. As per court authority, Beverly Hills Superior Court judge Marsha Revel had ordered the troubled actress to attend a progress review in person on Thursday. An order was issued by the court when the celebrity website TMZ.com reported that the 23-year-old has attended only 10 of 13 alcohol education classes required of her and spent months partying. Judicial sources says that the judge could decide to put her behind bars if what the website reported was true. Actress Linday Lohan is in France to attend the Cannes Film Festival and her attorney has not made comment yet. She was arrested and sued because of drunk driving, reckless driving and driving under the influence of cocaine in 2007. Lindsay Lohan was placed on three (3) years probation and ordered to complete an 18-month alcohol education program. Last October, the Superior Court extended Lohan’s three (3) years probation for another year and warned her to get serious about the alcohol program. She was sentenced for 24 hours in jail but spent just 84 minutes behind bars because of overcrowding in Los Angeles prisoners. An 18-year-old who pursued fame on a reality TV show after being prosecuted for her role in the “bling ring” celebrity burglary case was sentenced to six months in jail . Alexis Neiers was a relatively minor player in the ring – also termed the Burglar Bunch – but took a bigger role when her arrest coincided with production of Pretty Wild. That E! show depicts Alexis and her two sisters growing up in the fast lane in suburban Los Angeles as aspiring starlets … and apparently, robbers. Nice work, ladies! Neiers will be also placed on three years probation and must pay restitution to Orlando Bloom, whose home was burglarized by Neiers and several others, police said. PRETTY JAILED : Alexis Neiers is going to prison. Wild! Dressed in a black blazer, designer jeans and white shoes, Alexis stood with a sullen expression in court. She was given a two-year suspended sentence for the crime. Bloom was among a dozen high-profile celebrities – including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge and Rachel Bilson – targeted in 2008 and 2009 by the ring. The troubled teens were somehow able to steal millions in valuables before getting caught. Nick Prugo was the first of the tools to be thrown in the shed. So to speak.

Move over, In Touch. Outta the way, OK and Star . No one does celebrity gossip like foreign tabs. After giving a performance in Zurich Monday night, the third stop on Rihanna’s Last Girl on Earth tour, her tour bus went straight to the Hirslanden Clinic. The singer, accompanied by a few members of her entourage, entered the private facility . Cue obligatory headlines about Rihanna being rushed to the ER!

Heather Locklear Arrested in Hit-and-Run Incident

Heather Locklear was arrested for hit-and-run Saturday, according to TMZ, following a crash near North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, Calif. Deputies went to look at the area and found a knocked over “no parking” sign and obvious signs that a car that went up the curb, drilling the sign. The police confirmed through investigation that the car in question was Locklear’s black BMW, and the collision was very close to Heather’s home. Officials then went to Locklear’s home, saw damage to the BMW consistent with the collision, and arrested the 48-year-old star for hit and run. That’s worse than the beating she took in the Melrose Place season finale ! Heather Locklear may valet her car permanently if she keeps racking up the traffic offenses, although the actress was merely cited and released for this one. In ’08, Locklear was arrested in Santa Barbara for allegedly driving under the influence of prescription medications. She pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving and was placed on three years probation. This scary mug shot was among the things resulting from that. The latest incident could be a probation violation. Stay tuned.
