Lisa Rinna: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is Melrose Place With No Script!

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5, which premieres tonight, is getting a major dose of drama from a woman who thrives on it: Lisa Rinna. The Melrose Place and Days of Our Lives alumna, along with fellow daytime standout Eileen Davidson, gives the Bravo show a jolt of star power. Suffice it to say, Rinna and Davidson are not intimidated by Kyle Richards, Kim Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville and Yolanda Foster. Rinna, who has also appeared on Dancing With the Stars and Celebrity Apprentice , added that the Real Housewives is quite similar to Melrose Place . “This is very close to doing Melrose Place without a script in your hand,” Rinna said, adding that to her, “like everything in life, it’s all about timing.” “It’s funny, when I went on to Melrose Place it was year five.” “This is year five of Housewives . To be honest with you, after talking about it with my husband, it’s been a really great gig for me. It felt right, to be honest with you.” “I like an adventure, I was looking for an adventure.” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 Trailer The adventure starts this evening on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 Episode 1 , with Kyle Richards’ White Party serving as the backdrop. It sound be good, too, if the previews are any indication. In The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills trailer , Rinna is seen throwing wine, and a wine glass it appears, at co-star Kim Richards, who recoils in abject terror. Lisa won’t dish too many details, but would say, “I can’t say it’s anything I would have ever expected or imagined to ever have happen in my life.” “Most of my friends,” she reflects, “have never heard me raise my voice or get angry, really … what I learned is I am fiercely protective of my family.” Color us intrigued for the new season, to say the least. Tina Fey Welcomes Baby Girl #2!

Emmy-winner Tina Fey welcomed her second daughter this week. Already mom to five-year-old Alice, the 30 Rock star and husband Jeff Richmond now have their hands full with Penelope Athena Richmond as well! The baby’s gender was a surprise to the pair. “I’m just going to see what it chooses to wear to prom,” Fey said while pregnant a few months ago. The comedian called her second pregnancy “easy,” but admitted agonizing over having a second kid and whether or not to expand their family. Fey told Oprah earlier this summer, “My husband and I decided that we felt rather than risk having 30 Rock end in several years and feeling like part of our family is missing that we were going to prioritize our family.” We’d say she made the right call. Brooke Burke and David Charvet: Married!

Dancing With the Stars co-host Brooke Burke and David Charvet, her longtime partner and fiance, got married last night , according to reports. The location: On a boat under the stars off the coast of St. Bart’s, with their kids. Hard to imagine a more special moment for the couple, both 39. “We’re just at that place, where love is deep and meaningful, and we’re feeling very settled,” Brooke said of their relationship earlier this year. Burke began dating Charvet, who starred on Baywatch and the original Melrose Place , in 2005. He proposed to her just one year later, in 2006. They are parents to daughter Heaven Rain, 4, and son Shaya Braven, 3. Burke has two daughters, Neriah, 11, and Sierra, 9, with ex-husband Garth Fisher. In an interview with THG earlier this year, Brooke spoke about her “celebrity mom” status and making time for both herself and her relationship with David, despite challenges posed by balancing her career and four kids. It’s a busy life, but no doubt, it seems like it couldn’t be going better for her. Congratulations to the newlyweds and to the entire family!

Snooki, Queen Latifah and Tiffani Thiessen: Cast on Dancing With the Stars!

We recently reported about how Dancing With the Stars producers are under pressure from ABC to cast actual celebrities and fewer D-listers such as Bristol Palin, Kate Gosselin and The Situation. Well, today they landed … Effing Snooki. Break out the furry boots and trucker hats (and Bruno’s “1” paddle). Supposedly, the cast can pick its own costumes this fall. Our vote is for this: We already know watching Snooki fall down face first is entertaining, and she is a pretty big name these days (even if you hate the reason why). Queen Latifah and White Collar star Tiffani Thiessen are also on board, as well, giving the show more celebrities to balance out Rob Kardashian. Dancing With the Stars is actively courting NBA players, given their lockout sitch, although it’s unclear if any ballers have signed on as of yet. Shawn Marion of the world champion Mavericks turned down DWTS this month. The season begins in September after Bachelor Pad concludes. Thoughts on these new additions ?

It’s been a winding road for Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner, but they’ve finally made it: the couple is engaged! The actress and actor, who appeared together on Melrose Place in the 1990s, have been off-and-on for years, with rumors of an engagement first spreading back in October . But a source tells People the 51-year old soap opera star finally popped the question to the woman who counts Tommy Lee and Richie Sambora as her ex-husbands. It was a very happy ending this week on Weeds as guest stars Rachel Germaine and Christina Ferraro gave viewers a chance to sink their teeth into some succulent chest cutlets. Both ladies are nudecomers- Christina has had bit parts on shows like Melrose Place and All My Children , and you may recognize Rachel from her role in a Burger King commercial . And speaking of Whoppers, both girls sport ample, all-natural pairs that’ll make your mouth water! In the episode, Kevin Nealon and his co-worker go for a “massage” on their lunch break- you know, the kind where they do most of the massaging in the crotch area. Rachel and Christina start in their bras, taking them off as they rub and tug. But the guys are taking too long, and eventually Christina has to go, leaving Rachel to perv-form the two-fisted operation solo. Somebody give this girl a raise!
