13 TV Couples That Need to Split Up… Right Now!

Some couples on TV make shows worth watching.  Other couples are just there, taking up precious room on the screen.  We hate to say it, but we really want the 13 couples below to call it quits or just, like, keep their affection off the screen.  1. Fred and Serena – The Handmaid’s Tale Fred and Serena were both instrumental in starting the terrors that occur in Gilead, but there’s no love between them. Fred had his wife’s finger cut off. There’s nothing between them, and the fact they’re still married is very concerning. 2. Meredith and DeLuca – Grey’s Anatomy This pairing was out there … even for a primetime soap like Grey’s Anatomy. It came out of nowhere, there’s a lack of chemistry, and things got downright messy. They need to call it quits. 3. Niko and Eve – Killing Eve Niko and Eve were once very much in love … until Eve became infatuated with an assassin named Villanelle. Their relationship is at the breaking point, and they should just quit already. 4. Lucious and Cookie – Empire The term “whiplash” comes to mind when we think of Cookie and Lucious. They’re together one scene, and apart the next. It’s tiring, and we grew bored with it after the first season. 5. Harvey and Donna – Suits We waited eight seasons for them to get together, but when they finally wised up, there was no chemistry. It was exhausted years before because of the sheer amount of teases of a relationship with very little payoff. 6. Dylan and Andrew – PLL: The Perfectionists The Pretty Little Liars spinoff may suck, but Dylan and Andrew are part of the problem. Their relationship is built on lies, and every time they get to a good place, there’s another lie. Hey, some relationships are not meant to work. View Slideshow

17 Characters Who Ruined Perfectly Good TV Shows

Event the best TV shows suffer from terrible characters sometimes.  And in one way or another, these 17 TV characters managed to ruin (or nearly ruin) shows that we otherwise loved.  Take a look below to see who they are! 1. Jo Wilson (Grey’s Anatomy) Ugh. Grey’s Anatomy has had its share of annoying characters, but Jo is pretty much the worst. Her character is not only whiny and unlikeable, but focus on her has taken away from characters we’d rather pay more attention to. 2. April Nardini (Gilmore Girls) The addition of April Nardini as Luke’s daughter on GIlmore Girls was WEIRD, and it felt like a forced way to throw a wrench in Luke and Lorelai’s relationship. 3. Stuart Bloom (The Big Bang Theory) There was nothing wrong with Stuart when he first appeared on The Big Bang Theory, but after a while, his presence just become depressing… and creepy. 4. Piper Chapman (Orange is the New Black) The thing about Piper is, we liked her at first. She’s the lead character we followed into Litchfield, and we watched as she adjusted to life in prison. But after the first season? Ugh. She changed for the worse, and now her stories just take away from the rest of the cast. 5. Marissa Cooper (The O.C.) Marissa Cooper was a problem for The O.C. from the very beginning. Even though she was unbearable to watch, other characters managed to keep us coming back. 6. Connor (Angel) Things on Angel really took a turn when Angel and Darla’s son Connor returned as a fully grown teenager, and not in a good way. View Slideshow

16 Most Deplorable TV Shows of 2016

Even in the age of Peak TV, some of this year's TV shows were just flat out bad. Many of them didn't last past one season, while others still manage to have an audience — somehow. From the quick flops to the worn out staples, here's a look at some of the worst TV shows of 2016. 1. Notorious To be fair, nothing could have filled the Scandal-sized hole in our hearts — and our Thursday nights. But Notorious didn’t even come close to being a solid replacement while the Shondaland favorite was on its lengthy hiatus. 2. Heartbeat Loosely based on the life of Dr. Kathy Magliato, this bizarre medical procedural was pretty much a trainwreck. 3. Conviction Despite the fact that Hayley Atwell is incredible, ABC’s Conviction managed to be a total trainwreck, and it’s already been canceled. You can do better, ABC! 4. The X-Files Sometimes, a revival series can be a wonderful thing. That wasn’t the case with The X-Files. The brief returns of the series had a couple of good episodes, but mostly, it was a disappointment. 5. Shadowhunters Freeform’s Shadowhunters turned out to be a pretty poor adaptation of the young adult book series. Yet another disappointment from this year of television. 6. Dead of Summer Ugh. Another disappointment from Freeform this year, Dead of Summer had the potential to be something great. Unfortunately, it didn’t follow through. It was unoriginal and unbearable to watch.
