Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock: Married!

It didn’t exactly receive the same attention as another Royal wedding , but Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock got hitched today in a small civil ceremony. The event took place inside the palace in Monaco. Wittstock, the new, official Princess of Monaco, is a former Olympic Swimmer. She’s the first woman to hold this title since Grace Kelly, Albert’s mother who died in a 1982 car accident. Rumors spread on Thursday that Wittstick had bailed on the engagement, but the Palace quickly put those to rest and the world will see this couple in all its wedded bliss tomorrow: They have planned a lavish religious ceremony and gala.
