Can you blame her ? Phaedra Parks Files For Divorce From Apollo Nida Phaedra Parks is pulling the plug on her marriage to Apollo Nida. Via EOnline reports: The Real Housewives of Atlanta star “has retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage,” her rep, Steve Honig, exclusively confirms to E! News in a statement. Last month, Nida checked himself in to prison to begin an eight-year sentence which was issued in July following his guilty plea to bank fraud back in May. This is the second long-term prison stay for Nida, who was incarcerated for six years between 2003 and 2009 for car theft charges. The former couple has two children under the ages of four, sons Dylan and Ayden. The same day that Nida entered prison, Honig issued a statement on Phaedra’s behalf to E! News. Parks “is now putting all of her energy into ensuring the well-being of her two children and making decisions that are in their best interests,” he said. “This situation has put a tremendous strain on Phaedra and her family and she is working hard to bring back a sense of normalcy to everyone’s lives.” Prior to the start of Apollo’s sentence, a source told E! News that he had “been out partying every single night” adding that Nida has “made things very uncomfortable” for the Bravo star. “When he does speak to Phaedra, it’s always about money,” the source said. “He owes a huge debt in restitution and he wants to know if she’s going to help him with it. ‘Are you going to give me money?’ is always his question. He still wants her financial support.” Back in July, an insider exclusively revealed to E! News that the pair’s marriage was in serious jeopardy. “Phaedra and Apollo’s marriage is on very shaky ground right now,” a source told E! News. “Phaedra is trying to keep everything contained and protect her kids.” Meanwhile, following Apollo’s eight-year sentencing, his attorney Thomas D. Bever told E! News, “On behalf of my client Apollo, right now he feels remorse. He thought the judge was fair, and accepts his sentence, although he was hoping it would be less. Apollo is elated that this proceeding is past him and is no longer handing over his head. It meant everything to him that his mother and brother spoke on his behalf. He’s OK, and will get through this.” Phaedra recently posted a picture of a Biblr scripture days before filing for divorce from dirty dog Apollo: The reality star has also been spotted on the scene getting close to Kenny Lattimore at a recent book signing: It was only a matter of time before Phaedra pulled the plug on her shady marriage. In an apparent effort to minimize fallout from the Ray Rice scandal , CBS has decided to forego a game-opening sequence featuring Rihanna for tonight’s Steelers vs. Ravens showdown. Via TMZ : CBS has pulled the plug on the musical opening of tonight’s “Thursday Night Football” — and it’s very clear it’s because they don’t want to feature Rihanna in the midst of the Ray Rice scandal. The opening features Rihanna performing a version of her hit “Run This Town” — while Don Cheadle introduces the teams and dramatically asks who will “run this town” when the game is over. But with the Ray Rice scandal in full swing, it’s clear CBS didn’t want to feature another celebrity who was involved in a high-profile domestic violence incident. CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus says, “We thought journalistically and from a tone standpoint, we needed to have the appropriate tone coverage.” The musical opening will be replaced by a discussion of Roger Goodell’s recent comments about the Ray Rice incident. Mase’s Divorce From His Wife Is Finalized According to TMZ reports : Mase and his estranged wife have finally settled their divorce, TMZ has learned,and while Mase won’t have physical custody of his kids … he did win back custody of his rap gear. As we first reported, Mase and Twyla Betha pulled the plug on their marriage back in April — after several false starts — with both sides wanting physical custody of their two kids … but Mase caved. Mase won’t be a stranger to his kids … he gets “reasonable visitation” of up to three hours a day as long as he gives 12 hours advance notice. Mase was ordered to fork over $6,000/month for child and spousal support. For her part Twyla must return ALL of Mase’s musical equipment. We wish she wouldn’t. This means that at some point in the near future we’ll have to endure is terrible rap music. SMH.

Rumors that Karrueche Tran dumped Chris Brown earlier this year were accurate. The alleged reason? A little different than previously reported. It wasn’t because Rihanna paid him a secret visit in rehab, or because Chris banged in rehab employee … although both of those things did occur. Karrueche pulled the plug on their years-long, on-again, off-again relationship because he refused to stop texting his legion of side piece playthings. Tran’s break-up preceded Chris’ sexual tryst with a female inside rehab, reports indicate. Kae ended things after she visited Chris in rehab the month before. During that visit to rehab, where he was being treated for anger management, Tran saw Chris’ phone was FILLED to the gills with dirty texts from random girls. Good times. For a girl who stood by her man through a LOT, it was the last straw, and she let him know it. Bet he’s thinking about this (among other things) in solitary. Karrueche was incredibly pissed, and rightfully so, because she had been nothing but supportive to Chris throughout his ordeal, even going to court with him. She hadn’t heard that he was allegedly getting down with girls in rehab until after the break-up … he is now in jail after being kicked out of rehab. One of the reasons for that? The reality star appeared on Sunrise this week and was asked a fairly innocent question about North West , as anchor Sam Armytage inquired about the well-being of Khloe’s niece. The show then Tweeted that Khloe was upset by the line of questioning and abruptly ended the Q&A on her own. “We thought it was a technical glitch but turns out @KhloEkardashian’s people pulled the plug after @Sam_armytage asked about baby North,” wrote the official Sunrise account. This accusation did NOT sit well with Khloe. “Why would I cut an interview short because of North?” she asked on Twitter. “Get over your self Sunrise… The call dropped… stop reaching for a story. You are so f–king desperate!” This wouldn’t exactly be the first time an outlet used Khloe’s family as a means for attention. Have you seen this amazing Kim Kardashian-Kim Jong Un billboard ? Sunrise Executive Producer, Michael Pell, meanwhile, stands by his show’s assertion. “What happened with Khloé Kardashian on the show is a good lesson for publicists everywhere,” he wrote in a statement. “Don’t try to censor natural conversation. You would think coming on to promote a range of clothes that includes a baby line, it would be fair enough to ask about the inspiration.” He says Khloe should be angry at her publicists, not the program.
