Photo by Jayne Kamin-Oncea/Getty Images Former American Idol Star Antonella Barba Arrested For Heroin Distribution Former  American Idol  contestant Antonella Barba has been busted for alleged distribution of heroin, according to the people over at  TMZ . The publication is reporting that Barba was arrested earlier this week, on the morning of October 11 while in Norfolk, VA. She is being charged with heroin distribution of more than 100 grams, which is a felony in the state along with carrying a sentence of up to 40 years in prison–some pretty serious business. The time that Barba spent on  Idol  wasn’t very long, but she still managed to make a big impact on fans. The singing hopeful made it to the cusp of the show’s top 12 round before being eliminated in a season that ultimately ended up being won by none other than Jordin Sparks. Antonella’s short stint on the competition also managed to stir up a bit of controversy after photos of her posing in a wet t-shirt while in Washington D.C.’s National World War II Museum Memorial fountain were surfacing around the internet. Since being eliminated from the competition so many years back, Barba has only appeared on national television a few more times. She competed on  Fear Factor  in 2012, where the show oddly made absolutely no mention of her being a former American   Idol  contestant at all. She also appeared in a recent sketch on  Jimmy Kimmel Live!  that pulled together former Idol contestants for a musical “Where Are They Now?” segment. This also isn’t Barba’s first confrontation with the law–Before her  Fear Factor  appearance 6 years ago, she was busted for shoplifting in New York City in 2011. As far as American Idol goes, the original run of the program lasted 15 seasons before Fox pulled the plug back in April 2016. The show returned for a 16th season on ABC earlier this year, with its old panel of judges wiped out and replaced with Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie.

Tavis Smiley is still defending his decision to have multiple “relationships” with women who worked for him on his now-suspended PBS talk show…despite the fact that it appears to have built a climate where those who refused his advances could expect to be treated more harshly, given work below their abilities, and/or eventually fired. When asked about his multiple sexual relationships with subordinates , Tavis said: In my employee handbook we do not encourage interoffice relationships, but we don’t forbid it either because I don’t know how things are going to turn out in your life and you start hanging out with our company. I don’t know who you’re going to meet. And let’s face it, nobody’s working 40-hour weeks anymore. We are working 40-, 50-, 70-, 80-hour weeks. Tim Norman Files Restraining Order Against Jennifer Williams Jennifer Williams’ latest boo says she’s so dangerous he needs some help from the cops. Williams was apparently in a romance with “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s” star James “Tim” Norma n for the better part of 2017. According to Norman, things were volatile during their relationship, and only worsened once he pulled the plug on their union. According to TMZ, Tim claims that last summer, we’re assuming mid-argument, Jennifer jumped into his vehicle and drove full speed ahead at him in an attempt to run him down with his own car. He claims he had to dive out of harm’s way, or face certain death with Jenn behind the wheel. We’re not sure what month in which that alleged incident occurred, but Tim says they broke up in September, and he has already moved on with a new woman. But since then, he claims she has broken into his home, left him multiple threatening text messages, and in the most recent incident, damaged his car. He claims he was driving around LA on Sunday, and noticed Jennifer following him on the road. He drove home and went inside. He says when he came out again about an hour later, he noticed that two of his tires had been slashed, and he is sure that Jennifer is the culprit. He’s been granted a restraining order that prevents Jennifer from coming within 100 yeards of him. SMH! You think Jennifer is really out here going nuts like this over her ex? Getty Images

But some suspect that Kathy Griffin took the jokes just a little bit too far on her latest Trump criticism . WGN’s “Underground” Cancelled After Just 2 Seasons — John Legend Scrambles To Find A New Network

WGN Cancels “Underground” Bad news for fans of WGN’s breakout hit series, “Underground .” After becoming a fan favorite over j ust 2 action-packed seasons , WGN has pulled the plug on the show. Apparently, the decision is coming down from the network’s parent company, who’s looking to move away from big-budget scripted television and expand their audience in “another direction.” As Tribune Media President and CEO Peter Kern told Deadline : “Despite Underground being a terrific and important series, it no longer fits with our new direction and we have reached the difficult decision not to renew it for a third season. We are tremendously proud of this landmark series that captured the zeitgeist and made an impact on television in a way never before seen on the medium….It is our hope that this remarkable show finds another home and continues its stories of courage, determination and freedom.” Show star Jurnee Bell had this to say about the tough news: And Executive Producer John Legend made it clear that he’s searching for a new home for the show. Hiddleston is busy AF shooting Thor: Ragnarok in Australia, and it seems that Swift isn’t happy that she’s not a priority at the moment. According to Us Weekly , the couple ” had a major argument ” earlier this month over face-to-face interaction.   Seeing how they spent every waking moment together until mid-July, it was a bit of a slap in the face to Swift to not able to see her amor all the damn time. Jennifer Lopez & Casper Smart: It’s OVER! For REAL This Time!

Sad news out of Hollywood today, as TMZ is reporting that Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart have broken up . In other news: Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart were apparently still dating. The reports that the couple is dunzo come on the heels of rumors that Lopez is pregnant at the age of 47 . We think it’s safe to say you can add this to the pile of evidence that those rumors are bogus. There’s no word on why Lopez and Smart called it quits, but insiders say it was Lopez who pulled the plug on the relationship. The couple first started dating way back in October of 2011… But it’s anyone’s guess as to how many times they split up and got back together. Part of the reason for that is that Jen and Casper intentionally sent mixed messages about the status of their relationship. Insiders say Lopez and Smart faked a breakup in 2014 because they were sick of the public scrutiny of their relationship. From the start, the pairing was a subject of public fascination … and a fair amount of puzzlement. At 29, Smart is 18 years Lopez’s junior and was a struggling professional backup dancer when they met. Not what you expect from a woman who previously dated men as successful as Diddy and Ben Affleck, but as several fans pointed out over the years, male celebrities date and marry young, attractive nobodies all the time. So we’re not throwing shade over the age difference, but we’re still pretty happy to see these two go their separate ways. There were multiple signs that the relationship was less than stable, not the least of which were the multiple breakups (fake and otherwise). We don’t know if J-Lo called things off face-to-face or if she just ghosted Casper, but either way, it was probably a smart move. We’ll show ourselves out.

SMH: Murderous Sociopath George Zimmerman Will End Up Getting $100k More Than Anticipated For Sale Of Trayvon Martin Murder Weapon

George Zimmerman Accepts $250,000 For Trayvon Martin Murder Weapon As if it wasn’t bad enough that some sicko actually wanted to give George Zimmerman hundreds of thousands of dollars to own the weapon he killed a child with in cold blood …now it turns out there’s an even higher bidder. Apparently right after Zimmerman sold the gun off, another, possibly even sicker individual came forward to offer the murderer $100,000 more than his previous sale. Via TMZ : George Zimmerman will now make $100,000 more than anticipated for the sale of the gun he used to kill Trayvon Martin — because he got a much bigger offer for the 9 mm weapon. Zimmerman had reached a deal with a Florida bar owner to sell it Friday for $150k — but at the last minute Zimmerman pulled the plug when he found out someone else was offering $250k. Sources connected to Zimmerman tell us a female bidder contacted his attorney Thursday to make a deposit. Zimmerman initially didn’t take the offer seriously, but we’re told her funds were verified before the auction ended. We’re told it’s now a done deal at the $250k price tag. Still unclear if the purchaser will remain anonymous. There’s definitely a special place in hell waiting on this guy…so hopefully he enjoys the money. SMH. Splash

NeNe Leakes: Not Leaving Real Housewives of Atlanta???

The Real Housewives franchise has a revolving door of ladies.  They come and go just like their husbands’ mistresses. Ahem. But when The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s NeNe Leakes announced she is quitting the show, sh*t got real. NeNe is the main star of RHOA—and the pillar of the show’s drama.  Without her, there is no show. Bravo is scrambling to get NeNe back.  And their efforts might be working!! Reports are coming in that NeNe might not be leaving RHOA after all. Producers have asked Queen Bee NeNe to come back to the show in a reduced role.  And according to TMZ, she might agree!! Sources say that NeNe is acting like she is off the show for good.  But Bravo producers are still working to have her make cameo appearances throughout the upcoming season. Initially, NeNe and Bravo couldn’t come to terms over her salary.  So NeNe pulled the plug. RHOA made NeNe famous, but she has other gigs going on.  Currently, she is committed to a primetime network sitcom. NeNe is rich b*tch, and she wants to stay that way.  She said the only way she would juggle her new sitcom and RHOA is if Bravo upped the ante. Reports claimed that NeNe got a HUGE raise  in an effort to keep her on the show.  Apparently, it wasn’t enough to please the reality star.
