Morris Chestnut Talks Trust, Love, and His Role In NBC’s The Enemy Within

Source: NBC / Getty “There are two sides to every treason”… The Enemy Within Get ready for that type of action tonight at 10/9C on NBC! Morris Chestnut is back on TV. This time he is bringing all types of intense drama, suspense, and of course eye-candy to NBC’s The Enemy Within. A real spy drama, Morris plays Will Keaton, an FBI agent who must work with America’s greatest traitor, Erica Shepherd to get the job done. HelloBeautiful.com caught up with the actor during SCAD aTVfest 2019 in Atlanta, GA to discuss his latest drama series, the importance of trust, and why The Enemy Within is good TV for NBC. The Enemy Within premieres on February 25 / Mondays 10/9C. HelloBeautiful.com: Congratulations on The Enemy Within. We can’t wait to see the drama unfold. Morris Chestnut: Thank you! HelloBeautiful.com: Let’s talk about trust. Morris Chestnut: Trust… HelloBeautiful.com: Why is it so important to you and especially your role in The Enemy Within? Morris Chestnut: Why is trust so important? Trust is important in this role because at a certain point in order for me to accomplish certain things with my job, I have to have a certain level of trust. As you will see in the show – other people haven’t been so trustworthy. That’s the challenge – to trust. HelloBeautiful.com: And can we talk about who that person is? Morris Chestnut: That person is my co-star Erica Shepherd played by Jennifer Carpenter. When the story opens I am pursuing her character because she is a traitor. She committed treason and she is also responsible for the death of my fiancée. At one point she’s giving me all this information. I don’t know what information that I can trust and what I can’t. I have to determine that all while being in a fast-paced pursuit of other villains. Source: NBC / Getty HelloBeautiful.com: You’ve played so many characters throughout the course of your career. You are doing network television again. Tell us, what attracted you to the story. Also, take us through that moment when you got the script in your hand. Morris Chestnut: So, I just finished Rosewood. Rosewood was fun and light. My manager sent me this script and while reading it I was really involved in the character. I was engaged with the story. When I got to the ending of the pilot I was like wow! – I didn’t see the ending coming. The character was very dynamic. I wanted to get back to doing something that was more challenging dramatically. This was it. HelloBeautiful.com: What’s it like for you to go from the big screen working on those big box office films to working on 30 minutes to hour projects? Morris Chestnut: It is a blistering pace. That’s the most challenging part. Most of the times, that’s the only drawback to doing television. The material nowadays – most are big blockbuster comic book, Black Panther, The Avengers – big ticket type films. So, a lot of the really good material is also going to television. However, the challenge with doing network TV is that you don’t have time to prepare, because it is so fast paced. HelloBeautiful.com: In this role you are very stoic and focused. What makes you weak and what makes you fold? Morris Chestnut: There is going to be a lot of vulnerability that you see and it all relates to my fiancée that I lost. You will see the moments when I have to trust and sometimes I am burned by that trust. You will see me vulnerable. HelloBeautiful.com: In sync with that – let’s talk about sacrifices. Erica Shepherd didn’t want to lose her daughter. You lost your fiancée. Let’s talk about some other sacrifices that you had to go through in The Enemy Within. Morris Chestnut: The FBI and the CIA – they don’t have a good relationship. The FBI is more by the book and the CIA are more like cowboys who go and do whatever they want to get the job done. The FBI somewhat resents the CIA. So, part of the sacrifice is having to work with someone who Will feels is responsible for the death of his fiancée, while working with others from the CIA. HelloBeautiful.com: Why is The Enemy Within good for NBC? Morris Chestnut: The one thing that I love about NBC is that they really focus on diversity. They don’t just talk about it – they are definitely about it. We have diversity in front of the camera and behind the camera. We have diversity with our PA’s, writers, directors, and the crew. There is so much diversity. I am proud to be on a network that emphasizes that in the workplace. The Enemy Within premieres on February 25 / Mondays 10/9C.

BOSSIP Exclusive: Russell Hornsby Talks Exoneration Efforts On “Proven Innocent” And Playing Strong Black Husbands [VIDEO]

Source: Tasos Katopodis/Getty Images for SCAD aTVfest 2019 / Getty “Proven Innocent” Airs February 15 on FOX Over the weekend, Bossip had a chance to take part in SCAD aTVFest in Atlanta, where we had the opportunity to screen the first episode of FOX’s new show “Proven Innocent,” which just so happens to star one of our favorite actors, Russell Hornsby . Check out our interview with Hornsby below, then watch a First Look at the show. BOSSIP: Tell us about your role in “Proven Innocent” and what drew you to it? Russell Hornsby: “My character Ezekiel Boudreau, Easy for short, you know what drew me to him was the character himself, he’s a lawyer who is doing right by his family, who is doing right by his community, but still essentially struggles with finding what his purpose is. In what he did with freeing this woman Madeline Scott, he found himself and he found his purpose, he found his passion and his drive — to help people. It also gave me, it gave Russell, an opportunity to bring another kind of manhood on display. And that was important to me. This man who was bright and intelligent, still stands strong and tall, also loves his family, loves his his wife. You know, I’m a throwback. So like I said I was raised in the time when both men and women were made of steel. A mentor friend of mine laced that on me a few years back. It means different things at different times but the imagery is now we can be that, but also that we are malleable. We’re not stubborn. The fact that we’ve gone to school. We are educated and we understand our culture and who we are. That we know how to love our women and that we can be passionate and sensitive and engage and all of that. We still have the steel that’s present though. But I’m still an upright man. So I want to show all of that. BOSSIP: “That is also true for the character that you played in “The Hate U Give,” Maverick Carter — as well as your character in “Seven Seconds.”” Russell Hornsby: “Look at the dynamic though. We’re talking three, even four if you look at “Lincoln Heights,” we’re talking about four different kinds of men.” BOSSIP: You’ve been married for a long time too. Russell Hornsby: “I’ve been married ten, we’ve been together fifteen. So look at that dynamic, we have this brother who has been to prison, a brother who is a police officer, a brother who loses a child, now he’s diminished but he doesn’t lose his manhood. That’s important. Then you have Ezekiel Boudreau, with the same thing. Those characterizations are important. The representation is important and I’lm all for that. As an actor and as an artist, I know how to be malleable and change and transform because I’ve been surrounded by all kinds of men. All different kinds of men raised me and stuff like that so that’s why I feel that way.” BOSSIP: Any Oscars favorites? Do you feel like the Academy has done a better job about the diversity of nominations? Russell Hornsby: The reality of it is that, people will get what’s coming to them and what they deserve and what they’ve earned and I think it’s constantly important that, yes we do these awards, but the more important thing is for the work to speak. And is the work a work of distinction. That’s my kind of submission, I can look at the work and the people nominated and be lauded and celebrated, but the work not be there, so therefore you can’t engage in who should and who will win, you just have to ensure that the work will stand and that’s how I roll. We love talking to Russell Hornsby and can’t wait to watch this newest project! “Proven Innocent” airs at 9pm EST/PST on FOX. Hit the flip for a first look at “Proven Innocent”

Ex-Friend Files: Yandy Says She Can’t Forgive Kimbella For Making THESE Cruel Comments About Her Foster Daughter

Source: Kevin Mazur/WireImage/Paul Zimmerman/Getty / Getty Yandy Smith Speaks On Kimbella’s “Clout” Adoption Comments Yandy Smith is an activist/reality star/podcast co-host and a foster mom. The LHHNY star recently chatted with BOSSIP about the many hats she wears and spoke on her daughter Infinity who she met through her “Everything Girls Love P.U.D” foundation and mentored for three years. According to Yandy, Infinity, who she foster mothers, is special to her and a welcome addition to her family alongside her children Skylar and Omere. “I have been incredibly blessed to have her in my household,” said Yandy. With that in mind, it’s no wonder that Yandy’s none too pleased with Kimbella whom she says unforgivably made nasty comments she made about Infinity. Source: Naom Galai/Getty Images For Global Citizen / Getty On a recent episode of “Love & Hip Hop”, Maggie told Yandy that Kimbella spoke ill of her kids and said she adopted Infinity “for clout.” According to Kimbella however, she didn’t speak about Yandy’s kids—just solely about Infinity, and she shadily confirmed that she thought Yandy might’ve adopted the teen “to look good.” “I didn’t talk about the kids with an s, I’ve only spoke about…,” said Kimbella while in Costa Rica with JuJu. “[I said] that she was probably just doing it to just make herself look good and I HOPE it’s not the reason, and that’s how I feel about it.” She then added that she thinks Yandy’s playing victim about it. Really? Yandy spoke with BOSSIP this week and told us that Kimbella’s comments put the nail in their friendship coffin and she’s refuting claims that she adopted Infinity “for clout.” According to Yandy, she was hurt to hear Kimbella say her adopting Infinity was “fake as f**k.” “Where I draw the line is, you don’t talk about my children,” said Yandy. “That is something that is unforgivable to me. Not only are you insulting my charcter as a mother to her. You’re insulting my character as a mother to the two that you held, the two you’ve held since they were born. Yes, I was in the wedding, yes I stood by her side and I was happy to be there. I definitely felt proud to be there but that was a week and a half before that episode aired.  […] To use a child as a pawn to insult my character is wrong.” Wowwww. If YOU were Yandy could you forgive Kimbella????

Cardi B & Offset: Partying in Atlanta After Reconciling!

Cardi B isn’t interested in anyone’s opinion or judgment when it comes to her and her husband’s rocky relationship. In fact, Cardi opens up to People in a candid interview about how “it’s a personal thing.” The “I like it” singer gets real about her relationship with rapper, Offset, while in Atlanta this past weekend discussing the pair’s breakup and now, what we’ve all been waiting for – a reconciliation?!  “I feel like we just are a very regular couple,” Cardi says when asked about all her social media speculations. There we have it. Cardi officially labeling the two again as “a couple.” “We just do regular things,” she tells People . “I just feel like: We’re famous… we’re really popular right now – I just don’t get the obsession, I feel like everything we do is a big deal.” And while she is completely correct, she does claim to try and dodge the spotlight when it comes to her family.  “My relationship – my marriage – is not for them,” says Cardi, who shares a 6-month-old daughter, Kulture, with Offset.  “It’s not for them.” Of course, she didn’t have a baby and a husband just to amuse us. But, we are still going to get to the bottom of how the mega-famous artist is dealing with her cheating husband.  And, we can now confirm that she is just taking things slow, they have a baby and that is the real focus. “I hang out with him, I talk to him every day and we do our thing”, she explains.  We all can probably agree that Offset is a piece-of-sh*t husband, but as for Cardi, she doesn’t care what we think and is dedicated to mending her family back together. “It’s just like – to make things perfect… it takes time. You know, f***ing and hanging out doesn’t mean that you guys are on like a perfect note, it takes time. And it’s a marriage and there’s a child involved and family involved.” The two secretly wed in September 2017 after Offset proposed to Cardi at a concert in Philadelphia. But, come December the couple had split due to a storm of rumors that Offset had been unfaithful .  Offset did admit to the cheating allegations in a lengthy Instagram post later in December:  “I was partaking in activity that I shouldn’t have been partaking in, and I apologize. You know what I’m saying? For breaking your heart, for breaking our promise, for breaking God’s promise and being a selfish, messed up husband.”  And to all of our surprise, Cardi did not pull a Bobbit or kill him in his sleep. Instead, she is working to forgive and forget the rapper’s behavior. “We working things out, baby,” she told reporters in New York City back in January.  And it seems as though things are going pretty well for the rapper duo, as the two were spotted partying this weekend  at The Big Game Weekend Party at Oak Nightclub in Atlanta following their conversation with People .  Cardi told People that the two were spending some quality time together in the place where Offset, a Georgia native, knows best. Kulture stayed home as Cardi thought the trip would be “too hectic” for her. “This is his city,” she tells People. “I don’t really know much about this city. I know this city’s almost like the Wild Wild West, so it’s just like I know that he protect me the most. He knows everything.” She is being very open and honest with her fans, even the ones who think she should be moving on.   She says, “it’s like, honey, I’m not like you – I’m famous. I gotta consider who I’m dating, I gotta make sure people will have me for me. And I have a kid… We are a package. It’s not just Cardi, it’s Cardi and Kulture. ”  But, after a successful Superbowl commercial and with the Grammys coming up in less than a week, she “doesn’t even care,” she says. “I got so much work.” We all know Cardi will steal the show with or without her man. But, will he be beside her on the red carpet? Or cheering her on from the audience? We shall wait and see.  View Slideshow: Offset Lavishes Cardi B with Ridiculously Expensive Christmas Gifts

NCIS Teases "Biggest Secret" Ever: Will Ziva Return?!?

Never say never in the television world, right? With that cliche in mind, NCIS fans are now preparing to say something else entirely: Holy $hit! No way!!!!!!! At one point during the horribly boring Super Bowl on Sunday night, CBS aired a promo for the next all-new episode of NCIS, which will air on Tuesday, February 12. “You thought her story was over,” a narrator says over shots of Cote De Pablo as Ziva, fueling speculating and a great many questions by adding: “Now the biggest NCIS secret of all will be revealed.” It's Ziva , one character also says, while Mark Harmon's lead agent intones: Don't tell me about Ziva! We think we speak for all fans of the long-running drama when we say: WAIT… WHAT?!? For the record, the official network tagline for this installment reads as follows: After a malnourished and confused 9-year-old is found hiding in a storage unit, NCIS reopens an old missing persons case when the girl is believed to be the daughter of a Navy recruit who disappeared 10 years ago. Also, Bishop discovers notes that Special Agent Ziva David kept on the case long after NCIS officially stopped investigating. De Pablo, of course, left the drama in 2013. She did so in memorable and seemingly concluding fashion after her character kissed Michael Weatherly's Tony, her colleague and love interest, on her way out. Two seasons later, when Weatherly then left the show, viewers learned Ziva had a daughter…and had died in an attack. It's worth noting, however, that her body was never found and/or shown on screen. “As far as my decision to leave, that's a personal thing, and I'd rather leave it at that,” De Pablo told TV Guide. She added: “The idea of leaving was not something I toyed around with for a long time. It was an overwhelmingly hard thing – at times terrifying. “Leaving NCIS was not planned, so there is no plan. If I were panicking now, it would defeat the purpose. “I need to get really excited about something, because for eight years I was really excited about this character. I don't want to start anything unless it's like that.” Check out the mysterious preview here and then follow our link to watch NCIS online if you need to catch up prior to this huge reveal.

Khloe Kardashian Hints to Fans She May Have Nervous Breakdown

While fans are hopeful that  Khloe Kardashian is actually pregnant with baby #2 , others are still concerned. Khloe went through so much in 2018, and she may be at the end of her rope. In fact, Khloe has shared some vague posts implying that she’s either on the verge of a nervous breakdown … or needs to be. Khloe Kardashian took to her Instagram Stories to share a number of quotes that speak to someone going through a rough time. “There will be some things you won’t get over,” the first quote acknowledges. The quote continues: “Some things that will sting you so hard they will set you back to where you started.” “And you will hurt and hurt and hurt,” the quote affirms. “But you will also rise from it.”  Those of us who followed Khloe through the tumultuous year of 2018 cannot help but think of Tristan’s cheating scandal. “You will learn from the past,” the quote continues. “You will adapt and survive,” the text reads. “No matter how hard it gets.” “You will shape your own reality,” the quote encourages. “And,” that text concludes. “Accept how you should never settle for anything less than you deserve.” That sounds very positive — exactly what someone who is suffering may need to hear. But that was not all that Khloe shared in her Instagram Stories. The next quote that she shared was alarming to a number of her fans and followers. “I wish I had the time for the nervous breakdown I deserve,” reads one quote. Khloe is a very busy person — as a businesswoman and also as a mom. We hope that she is taking time for herself. The third quote that she shared suggests an outpouring of emotional support. “Sending love to everyone who’s trying their best to heal from things that they don’t discuss,” that text reads. Khloe has also been engaging in positive affirmations on Twitter, and even interacting with her devoted fans. “You landed so quietly in my life, and magically made me see the world more colorful,” praised a fan. “Love you @khloekardashian!” “Awwww what a beautiful message!” Khloe praised in response. Thank you for this!” “All I ask is that we each pass it on,” Khloe wrote. “Try to leave someone a little better than how you met them.” That is some very good advice. Advice that not everyone in her life has taken. As far as fans can tell, Khloe never fully dealt with Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal. Even now, in 2019, we hear reports that she is still grappling with the reality of what he did while she was pregnant with their child. There was even a report that Khloe went under the knife to compete with Tristan’s mistresses . Anything to make him stay and be a father for True, right? Even if some of the reports and rumors sound far-fetched, it sounds like Khloe didn’t suppress her feelings about Tristan’s betrayal as quickly as it appeared to outsiders. She was hurt. And maybe she’s still hurting. The only other explanation for why Khloe would share these somewhat alarming messages is that she feels that they will help fans. And maybe they will. Khloe has a lot of fans and, well, the world is an ever-screaming nightmare these days where every news cycle brings new horrors and new shame. But Khloe’s vague posts continue to be naturally open to interpretation by fans. Is she okay? We sure hope so. View Slideshow: Tristan Thompson: CAUGHT with Two New Women!

Kailyn Lowry: I’m Afraid of What Teen Mom 2 Is Doing to My Kids

Kailyn Lowry has been a reality TV star for the entirety of her adult life. Of course, she’s also been a mom throughout that time, having welcomed her first child at the age of 17. While her role on Teen Mom 2 has brought kail financial freedom and a host of fabulous career opportunities, she obviously prioritizes the health and happiness of her children above all else. So it stands to reason that Kail has spent a lot of time contemplating the effect that her fame might be having on her children. Lowry has been on the show for a full decade, but she says her feelings toward the show have changed recently. Specifically, Kail revealed on her podcast that watching the Teen Mom 2 Season 9 trailer caused to reflect on the relationship between her career and her kids. “It made me rethink about, am I exploiting my family?” she told co-host Lindsie Chrisley. “What effect is this going to have on my kids?” Kail added. Kail went on to point out that she’s in uncharted territory, as very few parents have to consider the possibility that the same career that provides for their children might be causing longterm psychological damage. “I think, at least for Isaac and Lincoln so far, they handle things very, very differently. I don’t know what the after effects of being on Teen Mom are,” she said. “Why do I stay? For the past 10 years, this is all I’ve known.” Lowry also observed that despite the downsides of fame, the show has created a brighter future for both her and her children.  “Yeah, there are bad parts of it but there’s also good that comes with it, too. I’ve been able to use this platform to launch into other things: my books, my hair care line, my podcast,” Kail said. “There are all these things that provide for my children and feed my children,” she continued. “I’m able to put my kids in a good school. My kids have trust funds. “My kids aren’t going to have to worry about anything, in those aspects. It’s just one of those things that you’ll never understand unless you’re in it.” It’s rare to hear reality stars speak so candidly about the benefits and drawbacks of their careers. Like the rest of the Teen Moms, Kail has struggled over the years with harsh criticism from fans and what she feels are unfair portrayals by the show’s editors. But ultimately, her time in the spotlight has allowed her to provide a life for her kids that few single moms could dream of. Ironically, her decision to remain on the show despite these hardships has been derided as selfish — but based on her comments on the subject, it seems like that choice was quite the opposite. Chris Brown: All Smiles Amidst Rape Allegation, Selling "This B-tch Lyin" Shirts

Chris Brown has shared a new photo of himself posing with fans in Paris, just days after he was arrested in that city on a charge of suspected rape. This, of course, begs the question: How in the name of all that is good and holy does Chris Brown have any fans?!? Granted, the polarizing artist has been released by French officials. He was taken into custody on Monday due to allegations by a 24-year old woman that he took her into a room within his hotel suite and committed a brutal assault that lasted for approximately 25 minutes. But Brown was subsequently let go by the police, with prosecutors still looking into this alleged victim’s claims… … yet unlikely to charge Brown with any crimes. In response the arrest, Brown has acted like, well, Chris Brown. He had been in Paris for work and he remained there after his release, writing as a caption to the photo above: “Its A WRAP!!!!” Shortly after the rape accusation went public, though, he posted the photo/message below to his Instagram page: And he wrote along with it: I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP! NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!! FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!! As we’ve often said throughout this ordeal: It would suck to be falsely accused of rape and we’d be angry of this happened to us, too. But Brown has an extensive history of violence against women; he has literally committed assault against Rihanna in the past. In no way is this charge against his character or morals. But anyway. TMZ has now confirmed that Brown has filed a criminal complaint against his accuser, alleging that she violated his privacy and defamed his character. More than a mere civil case, this filing could land the accuser in jail for up to a year if she’s found guilty. Brown, meanwhile, is looking to profit off the rape arrest. The singer has shared a screenshot of his clothing brand Black Pyramid’s Instagram account on his story. It depicts two different T-shirts, with the text “This Bitch Lyin’” written on them. It also advertises a Paris edition of the shirt with a picture of the Mona Lisa, the text instead reading, “That Bitch Lyin’. We hear Justin Bieber may buy one . Finally, TMZ reports that French police let Brown go because they simply didn’t find the accuser to be credible. She told the cops that she was raped by one of Brown’s friends after the singer accosted her — and then “abused” for a third time in another room. But she never tried to leave. And she never told any of the 20 or so people out in the main area of the suite what had happened or what was happening. For this reason, the cops did not buy what she was trying to tell them.  Oh, and a source says the police apologized to Brown when they let him go. David Eason Threatens Woman With Gun: New Details of Alleged Incident Emerge

As you may have heard, David Eason has been accused of threatening a woman with a gun after she committed the unforgivable sin of pulling over on a public road near his property. There have been so many Eason scandals in recent weeks that it can be hard to keep track of them all. So here's a brief recap: David allegedly threatened to shoot a 57-year-old woman named Sandra Britt earlier this week. Like most bullies, he hoped Britt would just quietly slink away after he asserted his false dominance, but unfortunately for David, both Sandra and her daughter are calling him out every chance they get . Take a look:   1. Crazy Dave Yes, David allegedly threatened to shoot a 57-year-old grandmother. Now, she and her daughter are fighting back. 2. Menace to Society Britt pressed charges against David, telling police that he threatened to shoot her. 3. Get Him! She also plans to file a civil suit alleging that he lied to the public with the intent of denigrating her character. 4. Speaking Out Sandra’s daughter, Kelli Faulk, was the first to address the matter publicly, calling David and Jenelle out on Facebook. 5. Jenelle Claps Back Not surprisingly, Jenelle was quick to respond in the insane, combative fashion that she’s known for. 6. Family Feud But try as they might, the Easons have been unable to silence Sandra and her daughter. View Slideshow

Michael B Jordan & Tessa Thompson On Creed 2 Bodies, Black Love & More | Extra Butter

Go here to see the original:

Creed 2 is coming back bigger and better than ever. For Adonis the stakes are higher this time around, fighting is nothing new to him, he had to fight for everything he’s got so far so it’s no surprise that he will have to fight even harder to keep it. On today’s episode of Extra Butter with Xilla Valentine we take a deep dive into Creed II as we chat with Michael B Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Dolph Lundgren , and Florian Munteanu as well as director Steven Caple Jr, who was hand-picked by Ryan Coogler to take over the franchise. In order to fully understand this story, you gotta go back to 1985 when Russian boxer Ivan Drago killed Adonis’s father Apollo Creed in a tragic match that stunned the world. The former heavyweight champion died on live tv after fighting Ivan against the wishes of trainer Rocky Balboa. Rocky had to get into the ring with Ivan to avenge his friend’s death, but after that loss Ivan loss everything back home in Russia and has trained his son Viktor to be bigger and better than he was in his prime. So the rise of Apollo’s son Adonis Johnson Creed to champion, Ivan feels like this is the perfect time for redemption in order to get back all that was lost. Michael B Jordan gets to show off his acting ability in this movie by showing strength, emotion, athleticism and much more. He laughs, cries and fights all throughout this film. I talked to him about showing off his range. “It was incredible. This was the first time I’ve been able to do a sequel to any film that I’ve done before. I get to take this character to the next level, to show Adonis advance in his career and his relationship by really showing what black love really is. Giving him a family of his own, fatherhood something he never really knew how to do because he didn’t really have that growing up. We just wanted to challenge him in all aspects of life and see how he responds to it.” The visuals for this film are off the hook, if you have seen the trailer you know there is a dope sequence when Adonis trains as Muhammad Ali trained by shadow boxing underwater. Steven told me, “We wanted to pay homage but also we did something that was new, which was shadowboxing underwater and then lift out of the water with Michael, and the camera then goes back under water. It’s real boxing stuff. Michael also had ankle weights attached to his body so he could stay under which was super dangerous but it helped keep him grounded.” It’s an epic shot for an amazing movie filled with great fight sequences and a heartfelt story. Michael even took a punch to the chin when first-time actor Florian Munteanu got too wrapped up in his character and blacked out. Watch until the end of the video to hear that story. Creed 2 is in theaters everywhere tomorrow.
