‘RHOAS11’ Recap: Kandi Makes A Surprising Gesture Toward Porsha

See the article here:

Source: Tasia Wells / Getty The Real Housewives of Atlanta crew is still in Tokyo! Now it’s time for Eva’s second official bachelorette party. Tanya is hosting the party and planned a mix of culture with the typical bachelorette stuff so this is going to be interesting. NeNe comes through and acts weird the entire time. She’s basically taking her drama with Gregg out on everyone. But things get really amusing when the Japanese stripper comes through. He doesn’t speak English but it’s an interesting experience as he dances in a g-string and socks, and is generally very ironically reserved. He even bows after finishing his dance. This type of stripper culture is obviously super far off from what these ATLiens are used to, but they made due, and definitely cracked jokes.   Once the stripper leaves, Tanya introduces some games. The first game was where they’re supposed to dress in the most outlandish Harajuku-inspired looks they can, but they don’t like Tanya’s game so they shift to more traditionally raunchy bachelorette stuff. Then they take the party out on the town and have a blast. The next day, NeNe gets a chance to speak to Gregg on the phone and tells him she didn’t have a good time on the trip because of what’s going on between them. She’s exhausted nurturing him all the time and not having anyone to lift her up. Plus she doesn’t like who Gregg has become with cancer. Cynthia comes to check on her so she cuts the conversation with Gregg short, but this is the moment she finally gets to break down. She comes to tears as she explains to Cynthia that she’s tired of being strong all the time and that she sometimes needs to be vulnerable. Cynthia is all ears and very supportive like a good girlfriend should be. The next day, they hit the town for a samurai lesson. That turns out to be a clumsy, but fun experience. Then we find Eva and NeNe kicking it later on and the next thing you know NeNe gets flowers and a card. It’s from Gregg and he’s offering a deep apology. He apologizes for the pain he inflicted on her, tells her he loves her and asks her to let him back into her heart. NeNe is crying so hard she can barely stand it but it seems like it’s happy tears. Finally, Eva brings the group together for a final dinner in Tokyo. They discuss their highs, lows, hopes, dreams, and plans. They’re actually supportive of each other and there’s actually no drama or cattiness.  Then comes the moment where Kandi surprises everyone by telling Porsha that she feels crappy about some of the things she said about Dennis because she experienced that behavior from people with Todd, and Todd turned out to be amazing. So she understands how Porsha feels and apologizes for her behavior with regard to that. Porsha accepts her apology and is committed to moving forward and having better communication between them with hopes that they can once be cool again like they were. They hug it out just in time to head back to Atlanta! The Walking Dead Recap: The Whisperers Are Here!

Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead was all about introducing us to the new world we were thrust into after that long time jump, and that meant we got to meet a lot of new characters.  Even after all those years passed, Michonne was still struggling to get over the supposed death of Rick and reiterated that at the top of the episode.  “I know you’re here,” she said. “I’m still here, too. But it hasn’t gotten any easier.”  Judith, meanwhile, was on a mission to bring the group she found back to Alexandria and knew fine well it would cause problems for Michonne, who was adamant about not allowing new people to join them.  But there was still hope. Michonne allowed one of them to receive health care courtesy of Siddiq and said they could plead their case to the council the following morning.  Gabriel, Michonne, Aaron, Laura, Siddiq, and Nora were part of the said council and settled down to learn everything about these potentially new Alexandrians.  Michonne noticed a flaw in one of the women’s tales and checked her arm. This confirmed the woman had done hard time in the slammer.  But that wasn’t all: The group was told to get rid of all their weapons before entering the town, but Manga went against that rule and carried a knife in with her.  That was enough for Michonne to change her outlook on these new additions, and rightfully so.  Elsewhere, Carol was lapping up her status in the town. She had a new hairstyle, an awesome boyfriend, and was happy for the first time in a long time.  The Kingdom was starting to fall apart, and Carol and Ezekiel wanted it all to be fixed up. Henry wanted to be upskilled to do some more stuff around the town.  But Ezekiel was against it because he wanted to keep the boy safe. We also learned that Hilltop was distancing itself from the other communities.  Carol went on a little adventure with Henry, and the pair found themselves in a trap set up by the Saviors, well, what remained of them.  Carol handed over her engagement ring, and they were allowed to return home. Carol returned later and set the lot of them on fire because they made a fool of her.  Back at Alexandria, the newbies were pissed that Magna’s knife landed them in hot water, and meant they were being sent back out to fend for themselves.  Magna opted to sneak around and got set to kill Michonne … until she noticed there was a kid with her. Oh yes, Michonne had a child with Rick! Magna then handed over her knife and apologized for her hostility. Michonne then had a chat with Judith about what the right thing was for them to do.  In the end, Michonne admitted that there was no home for them at Alexandria, but offered to take them to the Hilltop. The episode closed with Eugene and Rosita trying to install a radio to allow them to have communication with the other communities.  But they were ambushed by zombies and found themselves hearing one of them talking.   What the eff is going on? Elsewhere In The World: Earthquake Strikes Haiti’s Coast Leaving At Least 11 Dead

Getty Images More Than 100 Injured Following Earthquake On Haiti’s Northern Coast An earthquake struck off of the northern coast of Haiti late on Saturday. It is being reported that the quake killed at least 11 people and injured more than a hundred when several buildings collapsed in the impoverished Caribbean country, according to officials. The earthquake had a magnitude of 5.9 quake and was centered about 12 miles west-northwest of the coastal town of Port-de-Paix, the U.S. Geological Survey said. Jackson Hilaire, the police chief for the northwest region, announced earlier that at least seven people were killed and more than 100 injured in Port-de-Paix. Another four people were reported dead in and around the town of Gros-Morne further south, which includes a boy who was struck by a falling building, said mayor Jean Renel Tide. This earthquake was one of the strongest to hit Haiti since 2010, when a 7.0 magnitude quake struck near the capital, Port-au-Prince and killed tens of thousands of people. In a post on Twitter, President Jovenel Moise urged the people of Haiti to remain calm after the civil protection agency reported the latest quake had caused outbreaks of panic in northern towns following the commotion. The agency said that Port-de-Paix, Gros-Morne, the town of Chansolme and the island of Tortuga were the cities to suffer some of the worst damage across the coast. They also reported that some houses were destroyed. Le Nouvelliste newspaper said that one person in particular was killed when an auditorium collapsed in Gros-Morne and that detainees were released from a police holding cell that was damaged. The tremor also damaged the facade of a church in the town of Plaisance and a house next door collapsed, the paper said. Saturday’s quake was felt in Port-au-Prince, but initial reports via Twitter said that it had not caused major damage there.

Italian Shooter Targeted Blacks, Injuring Six African Migrants Before Being Arrested

GUISEPPE BELLINI/AFP/Getty Images Italian Man Arrested For Shooting Six Africans In Macerata Six people were shot in an incident in the town of Macerata, Italy Saturday. Police say the incident was a racially motivated attack. At least one person was seriously injured and in need of surgery according to officers. According to EyeWitness News reports police arrested the suspected shooter, 28-year-old Luca Traini, who they say wore an Italian flag draped over his shoulders when he was captured by police. Witnesses on the scene say Traini made a fascist salute before being handcuffed. “He drove around in his car and when he saw any black people he shot them,” Marcello Mancini, a Macerata resident, told Reuters television. The shootings occurred just days after a Nigerian immigrant was arrested in connection with the death of an 18-year-old Italian woman whose body was dismembered and stuffed into two suitcases found near Macerata. Traini also fired shots at the offices of the Democratic Party in Macerata, but there were no injuries there. Police say Traini previously ran as a candidate for the rightist Northern League at local elections, but he didn’t receive any votes. The League backs anti-immigrant policies. League leader Matteo Salvini blamed mass immigration for tensions in the country but distanced himself from the shooting. “I can’t wait to get into government to restore security, social justice and serenity to Italy,” he told reporters. PD leader Matteo Renzi called for calm. “The man who fired the gun, hitting six people of colour, is a squalid, mad person. But the state is stronger than him,” he wrote on Facebook. Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni said Italy would come down heavily on anyone promoting violence. “We will stop this risk. We will stop it immediately. We will stop it together,” he said. “Hatred and violence will not be able to divide us. It’s so sad to see these issues all across the globe. Prayers up for those affected by this evil. Praying all the victims make full recoveries. Continue reading

Rocko Asks The Judge To Freeze Up Some Of Future’s Tour Money To Make Sure He Pays Up

Rocko Asks Judge To Set Aside Future’s Tour Earnings Rocko isn’t quite sure that Future won’t eff up the commas he owes him after raking in the cash from his latest tour…so he’s asking a judge to hold his money to the side. Now, Future has a multi-city tour on the way that he’s set to make roughly $5 million from. According to TMZ , Rocko is asking the judge to set aside some of Future’s “Nobody’s Safe” tour cash in escrow, just to be sure that he can come through with the cash he’s owed. Amber Portwood & Catelynn Lowell: Partying Despite Addiction Issues

Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 are unique among reality shows, in that the central cast members rarely spend any time together. The show was conceived as a means of chronicling the varying experiences of different teenage expectant mothers in different regions of the US. These days it’s taken on more of a soapy docu-drama feel, but the ladies still live in far-flung regions of the country, in most cases far from any metropolitan cultural centers. A few times a year, however, the entire cast of Teen Mom: OG descends upon New York or LA to record supplemental material or attend an event sponsored by MTV. Last week, all four of the series’ leads flew to Los Angeles for a premiere party celebrating the debut of Teen Mom: OG Three-fourths of the cast (Farrah remains on the outs with the other ladies) hit the town for a sort of mobile after-party after things rapped up, and predictably, things got a wild crazy. Obviously, there’s nothing wrong with a few twenty-somethings hitting the town and ingesting some substances now and then, but fans are a bit concerned due to the troubled pasts of two of the ladies who got went out raging that night.   If you watch Teen Mom online , you’re probably aware that Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell have both struggled with emotional and substance abuse issues in the not-so-distant past. Portwood went to prison , choosing incarceration over rehab after a series of brushes with the law. Lowell checked into rehab for a number of emotional issues, and decided that she suffers from a “psychological addiction” to marijuana. So it’s a bit surprising that the ladies were decided to chronicle their booze- and weed-fueled night on the town for their social media followers. The above image from Tyler Baltierra’s Snapchat is a little tough to make out, but it appears to show Amber’s fiance, Matt Baier, brandishing a bottle of booze in the back of a limo. It’s one of a few blurry photos from that night, but more telling than the images they posted on social media are the words: “Happy 420 everyone,” Lowell tweeted at one point. “Remember NO smoking and driving! Always remember park and spark!” Lowell recently admitted on Lowell that she’s frequented dispensaries in states where weed is legal (like California). Guess she’s not too worried about that “psychological addiction” these days. As for Portwoord, she’s addressed fans’ concerns about her drinking in the past by explaining that she’s sober from prescription pain pills, and has no issues with booze. We guess if it works for Amber and Catelynn, then who are we to judge? Here’s hoping both of the ladies stay safe. View Slideshow: Teen Mom: HOW MUCH Do The Stars Make?!
