Getty Images More Than 100 Injured Following Earthquake On Haiti’s Northern Coast An earthquake struck off of the northern coast of Haiti late on Saturday. It is being reported that the quake killed at least 11 people and injured more than a hundred when several buildings collapsed in the impoverished Caribbean country, according to officials. The earthquake had a magnitude of 5.9 quake and was centered about 12 miles west-northwest of the coastal town of Port-de-Paix, the U.S. Geological Survey said. Jackson Hilaire, the police chief for the northwest region, announced earlier that at least seven people were killed and more than 100 injured in Port-de-Paix. Another four people were reported dead in and around the town of Gros-Morne further south, which includes a boy who was struck by a falling building, said mayor Jean Renel Tide. This earthquake was one of the strongest to hit Haiti since 2010, when a 7.0 magnitude quake struck near the capital, Port-au-Prince and killed tens of thousands of people. In a post on Twitter, President Jovenel Moise urged the people of Haiti to remain calm after the civil protection agency reported the latest quake had caused outbreaks of panic in northern towns following the commotion. The agency said that Port-de-Paix, Gros-Morne, the town of Chansolme and the island of Tortuga were the cities to suffer some of the worst damage across the coast. They also reported that some houses were destroyed. Le Nouvelliste newspaper said that one person in particular was killed when an auditorium collapsed in Gros-Morne and that detainees were released from a police holding cell that was damaged.The tremor also damaged the facade of a church in the town of Plaisance and a house next door collapsed, the paper said. Saturday’s quake was felt in Port-au-Prince, but initial reports via Twitter said that it had not caused major damage there.

Marcus Ingram/Getty Images Miss Quad Talks Her Divorce On “Hollywood Unlocked” Miss Quad is responding to the numerous lies her estranged husband’s been peddling in the media. As previously reported the “Married To Medicine”/”Sister Circle” star filed for divorce from Dr. G after that shocking reunion when he confessed to taking a woman to a hotel room and almost getting “blackmailed” over it. Following that Dr. G made numerous accusations against Quad including claims that they were in a sexless marriage and she moved out of their bedroom in 2014. According to Quad, however, that’s simply untrue and she cleared the air on Hollywood Unlocked. Quad is convinced that despite Dr. G’s claims that he didn’t sleep with a woman who later said in an interview that he was lacking severely in the penis department, he actually had oral sex with that woman in a hotel room. “There was a young lady who came forward who he had oral sex with—I don’t believe he took the time out to get a hotel room and was not looking for anything in return,” said Quad. “I truly believe that that young lady was telling the truth.” She also clapped back at his claims that they hadn’t had sex since 2014… “Yes, [we are separated] and I filed for divorce too. He stated that we hadn’t had sex since the second year of our marriage. I’m in my 30s!” and added that her husband changed after the “Married To Medicine” cameras started rolling. According to Quad after that incident with Lisa Nicole where a glass was hurled her way , she told her husband she was unsure if she wanted to continue filming—but he insisted so that HE could get recognized by fans. “Who you see today that my husband has morphed into, this is not who he was,” said Quad. “It’s fame, it’s television. Moreso than anything else, I gave him my heart. […] “There was a young lady who I got into it with, there was an argument. She threw water at me, threw a glass at me, scratched my face. I told him I’ve never worked in any corporate capacity where it was okay to be treated this way. I said I think I’m gonna pull back from “Married To Medicine” and he said; ‘Well, why would you do that?! It’s gonna be different. People aren’t gonna know who I am anymore!’” She also wouldn’t confirm or deny that he was physically abusive and instead said there were “some very dark times” in their marriage and added that it’s why she didn’t want to bring a child into the picture. Quad has a point. Why would she bring a child into such a tumultuous situation?? Do YOU think she’s doing the right thing by getting a divorce?

So hey, you know that thing about how Kate Gosselin is a big ol’ monster? Yeah, you know. Kate Gosselin is honestly just the worst. She’s so rude and unlikable, and we’ve seen her be downright cold to her eight kids time and time again. It’s not a great look. Most recently, Kate caught a lot of criticism for a Halloween photo she shared of the sextuplets . It was cute and all, with two precious pink dinosaurs and three adorable astronauts. But still, there was one thing missing: Collin. For over a year now, Collin has been living away from home in a facility to treat what Kate has described as his “special needs” and behavioral problems . Kate hasn’t gone into too much detail about what those problems are, which is a good thing. After all, the kid is only 13 years old and dealing with all these serious issues, not to mention he has Kate Gosselin for a mother — he’s been through enough. Lots of people are worried about Collin, concerned that Kate isn’t doing the right thing by keeping him away from his family for so long. Then again, lots of people think that as his mother, she knows what’s best for him. Either way though, most of us think that Collin could come home every once in a while, for Halloween or the sextuplets’ birthday or something . According to a new report from Hollywood Life, Jon Gosselin feels that very same way. “The way Kate is handling things with Collin breaks Jon’s heart but he has no say,” a source explains . “She controls everything, it’s her way or the highway when it comes to the kids, including Collin.” “When he saw that Kate left Collin out of Halloween, that his son was missing yet another family celebration, Jon broke down and cried.” Who could blame him? “He hates that she’s doing this to Collin and feels so helpless to stop her,” the insider continues. “He’s praying that the judge will side with him at their next custody hearing.” Yep, you heard that right: we’re in for a brand new Gosselin custody battle here soon! Apparently “Jon’s one and only goal in life right now is getting more time with his kids. He’s doing everything he can to win their next custody battle.” “He’s totally overhauled his life, he’s even back working a regular job again.” What is he doing, full-time stripping ? Is he an Ed Hardy spokesman? The possibilities are endless! However, the source says that he’s actually an I.T. administrator these days, and that “it’s a good job with decent pay.” “He still loves to DJ and he takes gigs wherever he can but he’s got a regular job now too because he knows that’s what he has to do to get his kids back.” “He’s really hopeful that this will help him get more time with his kids,” the source concludes. How unfortunate is it that Kate Gosselin is so terrible that we’re rooting for Jon Gosselin to get custody of eight whole children? 2017 is crazier than we ever could have imagined, guys.

Mariah Carey Cancels Brussels Concert Due to Safety Concerns

Pop queen Mariah Carey announced yesterday that she is canceling an upcoming concert in Brussels due to safety concerns in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks the city suffered earlier this week. The concert was set to take place on Easter Sunday, which also happens to be Mariah’s 46th birthday. The “Hero” songstress issued the following statement on Twitter and Instagram: “I love my fans in Brussels and at this time I am being advised to cancel my show for the safety of my fans, my band, crew and everyone involved with the tour. “I hope to see you soon and send my prayers and eternal love, laughter and light to my Lambs.” While some fans expressed anger and disappointment, most were supportive of her decision. “You are letting the terrorists win!” wrote one fan via Twitter. “You’re doing the right thing. Safety first. Love you,” tweeted another. During a concert in London earlier this week, Adele dedicated an emotional performance of “Make You Feel My Love” to the terror victims in Brussels. Audience members waved their phone lights in the air as they sang along with her. “I don’t think I’ve ever actually been so moved in my life at one of my shows,” Adele said following the performance. Lydia McLaughlin Gives Birth to a Boy!

Come on down, baby number-three! Per Us Weekly, Lydia McLaughlin gave birth to her third child yesterday, a son named Roman Scott McLaughlin who was born in Orange County at 9:05 a.m. He weighed in at 7 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 19 inches in length. “Baby Roman has captured our hearts and just like that our lives are forever changed,” McLaughlin tells the tabloid. “We are so grateful to now be a family of five.” The former The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member and husband Doug are also parents to Stirling, 5, and Maverick, 3. McLaughlin departed The Real Housewives of Orange County after just one season, opting to not remain with the Bravo series for season nine, telling Us Weekly of her decision: “It’s bittersweet. I compare it to breaking up with a boyfriend you know you’re not going to end up with — it’s hard, but overall you know you’re doing the right thing.” We send our very best wishes to Lydia, Doug and the entire (newly-expanded!) WTF? Girl Suspended From School For Stopping Student From Cutting Himself With Razor Blade They suspend children for their hair, bringing cheese sandwiches to school and now this? According to WAVY: A Virginia Beach sixth grader who came to the aide of a classmate who was cutting his arm will now return to school Friday after initially facing expulsion for her actions. Last Thursday at Bayside Middle School, Adrionna Harris took a razor from the student, threw it away and convinced him what he was doing wasn’t right. She thought she was doing the right thing, so on Friday she told the school administration what happened. The way school officials responded led to this question: was the school’s zero tolerance policy taken too far? Instead of getting praise from the school administration, Adrionna got a 10 day suspension with recommendation for expulsion. The interesting thing — the only reason Adrionna got suspended was because she admitted what happened. The alleged weapon was thrown away, and it was her word alone that led to her suspension. “I was shocked and surprised. I was very shocked that a student would get suspended for saving another child,” said Rachael Harris, Adrionna’s mother. “The school system over-reached absolutely.” Virginia Beach City Public Schools has been pummeled in social media for suspending Adrionna in the first place. During the meeting, Mr. Harris said it was clear the school system is tired of the negative reaction against them because of what people perceive as unfair treatment of Adrionna. “They definitely want it to be over with. They don’t want 10 On Your Side spot-lighting this issue. They are over it, and so are we,” Harris said. Which one of their bullisht rules did she violate?! Preventing suicide??? SMFH WAVY

Leah Remini is once again speaking out about her much-talked about decision to leave the Church of Scientology last summer. Why did she do it? In an interview with Buzzfeed, she cites “dozens” of factors that led to her July 2013 exit, but none as important as her 9-year-old daughter, Sofia. Leah Remini Reveals Why She Left Scientology “She was getting to the age where the acclimation into the Church would have to start,” Remini explains, referring to Scientology’s “auditing” process. That brought up memories of the actress’ own experience with the Church as a child, and how it affected her relationship with her mother, Vicki. Vicki moved the family to a Scientology compound in Clearwater, Fla., shortly before Remini’s 10th birthday, and spent a lot of time at the Church. “I started thinking of my own childhood and how I grew up resenting my mother because she was never home,” she says of that time in her life. Remini added that, “my mom thought she was doing something good; she thought she was helping the planet. That’s what the Church tells you. “In my house, it’s family first … but I was spending most of my time at the Church,” she says. “So, I was saying ‘family first,’ but I wasn’t showing that.” Leah Remini vs. Scientology “I didn’t like the message that sent my daughter.” Initially, she says, she tried to make changes “from within” the Church, but they didn’t take. “They didn’t want to,” she says of her friends in Scientology. “That showed me they didn’t actually care, which went against everything I thought we stood for. They only cared that their lives would be disrupted.” “They didn’t care about doing the right thing.” “In the Church, you’re taught that everybody is lost. They say they’re loving, caring, non-judgmental people, but secretly, they were judging the world.” “To me, that is not a spiritual person. That’s a judgmental person and that is what I was. I was a hypocrite, and the worst thing you can be in this world is a hypocrite.” “I don’t want to be known as this bitter, ex-Scientologist. I’m not trying to bash anybody [or] to be controversial. I just want people to know the truth.”
