Brendan McLoughlin: Miranda Lambert’s Husband Is a Liar Who Lived a Double Life, Ex Claims

Just days after the news that Miranda Lambert got married after a three month courtship, the bad news started coming in. Apparently Brendan McLoughlin cheated on his former fiancee and fathered a child with another woman. It’s not a good look. Now, the woman who was almost his mother-in-law reveals more about his deception. Brendan McLoughlin’s ex-fiancee, Jackie Bruno, is understandably “mortified” at the news of his sudden marriage to Miranda Lambert. At least, that is what Jackie’s mother, Carol Bruno, tells Us Weekly . “[Jackie] just wants to say that he’s just a lying, cheating, no good piece of garbage,” Carol shares. Brendan McLaughlin is a New York City police officer whose Manhattan precinct includes Times Square. According to Carol, the woman who was nearly his mother-in-law, he was leading “a secret double life.” “[Brendan] tried to deny it,” Carol says of his deceptions. “And then begged her to stay with him.” “He was begging her to marry him,” Carol says. Jackie and Brendan did not end up getting married, but it sounds like he was pushing her in that direction. Carol accuses that he did so “Even though he know the girl was pregnant.” That sounds like a complicated but deeply unfair situation for both his baby mama and his (now former) fiancee. Miranda Lambert stunned fans last weekend when, in honor Valentine’s Day, she made a shocking announcement. “I met the love of my life,” Miranda told fans. And we got hitched!” “My heart is full,” she gushed. “Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for…. Me,” she concludes. Miranda tagged her caption: “#theone.” “He was at my house and ate dinner with her father and I at our house almost every night,” Carol says. This is why the betrayal cuts so deep for Carol and for Jackie. Carol says that Brendan did this “while his pregnant baby mama was at his place.” All in all, she shares that Jackie and Brendan were together for “almost two years.” The engagement portion of their relationship, Carol says, lasted for “a few months.” “He told her to keep it [the engagement] quiet,” Carol says. She accuses that he did this “because he knew about the baby on the way.” That sounds not only unkind to all parties involved, but like a very poor long-term plan. How does one hide the existence of a child after the child is born and after a wedding? Sooner or later, the story is going to break down and the lies will stop working. Carol lays into Brendan, saying: “He’s just a lying, cheating, conniving, narcissistic [person].” Some say that Brendan sounds like the perfect man for Miranda. Miranda has admitted that she is something of a homewrecker, and her last marriage ended with cheating accusations. But Brendan is not the first man accused of cheating. For that matter, she and Blake Shelton both allegedly cheated during their marraige. Blake “won” the divorce, in terms of his reputation with the Country music community. His reputation is fine and very few people have a problem with his ongoing romance with Gwen Stefani. Perhaps it’s unfair that people are more concerned about Miranda getting hitched after just three months with an unknown man. But it sounds like Brendan’s history is enough to give even Miranda’s most diehard fans pause. View Slideshow: 29 Stars Who Are Known Cheaters

The Walking Dead Recap: The Whisperers Are Here!

Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead was all about introducing us to the new world we were thrust into after that long time jump, and that meant we got to meet a lot of new characters.  Even after all those years passed, Michonne was still struggling to get over the supposed death of Rick and reiterated that at the top of the episode.  “I know you’re here,” she said. “I’m still here, too. But it hasn’t gotten any easier.”  Judith, meanwhile, was on a mission to bring the group she found back to Alexandria and knew fine well it would cause problems for Michonne, who was adamant about not allowing new people to join them.  But there was still hope. Michonne allowed one of them to receive health care courtesy of Siddiq and said they could plead their case to the council the following morning.  Gabriel, Michonne, Aaron, Laura, Siddiq, and Nora were part of the said council and settled down to learn everything about these potentially new Alexandrians.  Michonne noticed a flaw in one of the women’s tales and checked her arm. This confirmed the woman had done hard time in the slammer.  But that wasn’t all: The group was told to get rid of all their weapons before entering the town, but Manga went against that rule and carried a knife in with her.  That was enough for Michonne to change her outlook on these new additions, and rightfully so.  Elsewhere, Carol was lapping up her status in the town. She had a new hairstyle, an awesome boyfriend, and was happy for the first time in a long time.  The Kingdom was starting to fall apart, and Carol and Ezekiel wanted it all to be fixed up. Henry wanted to be upskilled to do some more stuff around the town.  But Ezekiel was against it because he wanted to keep the boy safe. We also learned that Hilltop was distancing itself from the other communities.  Carol went on a little adventure with Henry, and the pair found themselves in a trap set up by the Saviors, well, what remained of them.  Carol handed over her engagement ring, and they were allowed to return home. Carol returned later and set the lot of them on fire because they made a fool of her.  Back at Alexandria, the newbies were pissed that Magna’s knife landed them in hot water, and meant they were being sent back out to fend for themselves.  Magna opted to sneak around and got set to kill Michonne … until she noticed there was a kid with her. Oh yes, Michonne had a child with Rick! Magna then handed over her knife and apologized for her hostility. Michonne then had a chat with Judith about what the right thing was for them to do.  In the end, Michonne admitted that there was no home for them at Alexandria, but offered to take them to the Hilltop. The episode closed with Eugene and Rosita trying to install a radio to allow them to have communication with the other communities.  But they were ambushed by zombies and found themselves hearing one of them talking.   What the eff is going on? The Walking Dead continues Sundays on AMC.  View Slideshow: The Walking Dead Season 9: What’s About to Go Down?

Peace, See Ya Later: Solange Knowles Chunks A Deuce To Carol’s Daughter Over “Wrong Message” About Natural Hair

Soli says she is not the leader of the natural hair movement Solange Knowles Ends Relationship With Carol’s Daughter Via Essence Solange Knowles was the face of hair care brand Carol’s Daughter’s Transitioning Movement from April 2011 until recently. The 26-year-old revealed in a recent interview with Lurve magazine the true reason why she parted ways with the company, saying it was a constant battle to get a certain message across. “I’m actually no longer a part of Carol’s Daughter, but throughout my entire time working with them, I was constantly fighting for the right message to be heard,” she said. “The message that, the way we wear our hair is a personal choice, there’s no right or wrong way; one way doesn’t make us more intelligent, or more superficial, and everyone makes that choice for very different reasons.” Against some adversity, Knowles has stood by her decision to wear her natural hair and has even shot back at critics that she refers to as the “natural hair police.” After a blog called her hair “unkept,” the singer and model responded via Twitter saying, “I don’t want to talk about no damn hair… no mo. I never painted myself as the team natural vice president.” Translation: “Deez ninjas tryna hold me back!” In a statement to the Huffington Post, Steve Stoute, the chairman and lead investor of Carol’s Daughter, responded to Knowles’ departure by saying, “Carol’s Daughter celebrates women who embody beauty by nature such as Solange. We value our relationship with her and the women we were able to empower by partnering with such an authentic spirit.” What do you think of Solange’s decision? Should she be more outspoken about the natural hair movement when so many women look to her for inspiration? Image via Tumblr
