‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Fans Can’t Wait For Elevator Scene

‘It’s pretty much my favorite part,’ one ‘Fifty Shades’ reader tells MTV News of planned movie. By Josh Wigler, with reporting by Uptin Saiidi “Fifty Shades of Grey” book cover Photo: NEW YORK, NY — Perhaps it’s too hot for even an R rating, but regardless of an MPAA ruling, this much is clear: A “Fifty Shades of Grey” movie is inevitable. Fans are chomping down on their leather belts of choice in anticipation of the live-action take on Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele — indeed, the dream casting calls are already pouring out with no signs of slowing . With so many iconic scenes already in the making, it’s almost impossible to ask fans to pick only one that they’re most excited to see— but for some “Fifty Shades” readers, the decision is a no-painer. “The scene I would like to see the most on the big screen is the elevator scene,” fan Sean Barnett told MTV News during a “Fifty Shades of Grey” signing at Barnes & Noble in New York’s Union Square last month. Fellow fan Morgan Nazarzideh had to agree: “When the movie comes out, I’m waiting for the elevator scene to happen. It’s pretty much my favorite part.” They weren’t alone in their requests for a raunchy elevator scene, but that wasn’t the only moment fans are pining for. In fact, “Fifty Shades” readers Christina Regalbuto and Jennifer Lubrano are already looking toward the potential sequel, “Fifty Shades Darker,” to see how steamy Christian and Ana’s relationship can get. “The scene I’m excited to see is from the second book, when she finally gets to touch him for the first time,” said Regalbuto, referring to the long-awaited moment in E.L. James’ second “Fifty Shades” novel. Stemming from that, Lubrano added: “Also from the second book, when he proposes to her. That’s a big, dramatic scene.” Fan Manuel Lemus said that, in the end, there are simply too many coveted moments from “Fifty Shades of Grey” to pick only one most-anticipated movie moment. “I’m excited to see everything, to be honest with you,” he said. “I really enjoyed reading this book. I’m excited. I can’t wait [for the movie].” Which “Fifty Shades” scenes are you most looking forward to seeing? Weigh in with your thoughts in the comments section below! SpaceGhostPurrp And A$AP Rocky Rift: Beyond Repair?

It was all good just a week ago, but now SpaceGhostPurrp and A$AP Rocky are at odds. By Rob Markman SpaceGhostPurrp Photo: It was all good just a week ago, but now SpaceGhostPurrp and his Raider Klan have fallen out with A$AP Rocky and the A$AP Mob. Purrp — who was responsible for producing Rocky’s “Keep It G” and “Pretty Flacko” and rhymed alongside Rock on “Purple Swag: Chapter 2” — sat with MTV News in May and broke down his relationship with the A$AP Mob, but last week, he revealed in a YouTube video that their union is no longer. “We Raider Klan, man. We got our own sh– going on. And that’s how the f— it is. We ain’t A$AP,” SpaceGhost said in the video, which has since been taken down. “I showed love to them n—as last year and some sh– went down and we don’t f— with each other no more.” It was a different story from the one Purrp told MTV News when he sat down with us in May. “Me and the Mob, we reached out to each other through the Internet. We showed love to each other. We had a good time,” he said of his A$AP relationship, which has since soured. “I came up to New York and met up with him, we got to know each other real well, and then we just became a little family. “I’m affiliated with A$AP. If I see him, we still do our handshake, we still got love, we’re real close homeys,” he added. Still, Purrp — who released his debut album, Mysterious Phonk: The Chronicles of SpaceGhostPurrp, last week — has always made a clear distinction between the A$AP Mob and his Raider Klan crew, which originated in his hometown of Miami. The beef is said to have started after Rocky’s groupmate, A$AP Twelvyy, got into an altercation with Matt Stoops from Purrp’s Raider Klan. Music site Mostly Junk Food has posted screen shots of deleted SpaceGhost tweets in which he accuses Twelvyy of attacking Stoops. While the beef does sound serious, Purrp told MTV News of a misunderstanding that he and Wiz Khalifa had prior to working together on Wiz’s Taylor Allderdice mixtape. Maybe after a conversation, he and Rocky can reach a similar accord. Do you believe SpaceGhostPurrp and A$AP Rocky can work out their differences? Let us know in the comments. Ryan Gosling Drives Away With Three MTV Movie Award Noms

The actor’s busy 2011 could earn him a trio of Golden Popcorn statuettes. By Amy Wilkinson Ryan Gosling in “Drive” Photo: Bold Films In between brokering peace in New York’s East Village , suffering a snub at the hands of the People ‘s Sexiest Man Alive nomination committee and giggling over his own Internet meme , Ryan Gosling somehow found time to release three well-received films in 2011. So it should come as no surprise that the actor acquired a number of nods Monday when the 2012 MTV Movie Awards nominations were announced. The 31-year-old racked up three nominations: Best Male Performance and Best Gut-Wrenching Performance for the action flick “Drive” and Best Kiss (along with co-star Emma Stone) for the romantic comedy “Crazy, Stupid, Love.” Gosling’s other 2011 film, “The Ides of March,” was not nominated. Gosling is no stranger to MTV’s Golden Popcorn, having won a statuette in 2005 for Best Kiss with his “Notebook” co-star (and former girlfriend) Rachel McAdams. Their onstage re-creation of the smoldering smooch is still one of the Movie Award ceremony’s most memorable moments. This year, however, Gosling and Best Kiss co-nominee Stone face stiff competition in the form of “Twilight” lovebirds Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, who’ve won the honor three years running. Elsewhere, Gosling will face Bryce Dallas Howard (“The Help”), Channing Tatum and Rob Riggle (“21 Jump Street”), Tom Cruise (“Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol”), and the women of “Bridesmaids” for Best Gut-Wrenching Performance, while Daniel Radcliffe (“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2”), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (“50/50”), Josh Hutcherson (“The Hunger Games”) and Channing Tatum (“The Vow”) will be his competition for Best Male Performance. Wiz Khalifa Explains How ‘T.A.P.’ Collabo Survived A Dis Track

Track’s producer, SpaceGhostPurrp, is a onetime Taylor Gang detractor, Wiz tells ‘RapFix Live.’ By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway Wiz Khalifa Photo: Natasha Chandel/ MTV News If Wiz Khalifa had let a little dis song get to him, his fans would have missed out on some pretty cool music. In fact, “T.A.P.” — one of Khalifa’s favorite songs off of his latest Taylor Allderdice mixtape — was produced by A$AP Rocky producer SpaceGhostPurrp, a onetime Taylor Gang detractor. For those unfamiliar with Purrp’s catalog, in 2011 he released a song called “F— Taylor Gang,” on which he rapped, “This ain’t no Wiz, so f— a Khalifa.” The song didn’t hit Wiz’s radar at first, but the Purrp-produced A$AP Rocky track “Pretty Flacko” did. “I love that beat. I’m like, ‘Man, that beat is hard as hell,’ ” Wiz said when he appeared on last week’s “RapFix Live.” After hearing “Pretty Flacko,” which dropped on New Year’s Day, the Taylor Gang captain immediately took to Twitter to express his appreciation for SpaceGhost’s work. Shortly after, the emerging producer hit Wiz back suggesting that they record a song together, and of course Khalifa agreed. “Then somebody was like, ‘You know he put out a song about you,’ ” Wiz recalled of how he first learned about “F— Taylor Gang.” “I checked the song out and when I listened to it I kinda figured out what it was,” Wiz explained, not taking offense at Purrp’s lyrics. “Just being young people and being competitive, going for a spot, you don’t always know that it’s cool to let somebody know that you’re a fan of theirs, and that’s why I always try to reach back to people who are in their early stages and let ’em know I listen to your music and I like your music.” After hearing the track, the “Black and Yellow” MC cleared the air with SGP. “After that he sent me that crazy beat, and me and Juicy went in,” Wiz said of how “T.A.P.” came about. Odd Future’s Domo Genesis found himself in a similar situation when he and Wiz collaborated on their “Ground Up” single in February. Domo, who released his debut album, Rolling Papers, online for free in 2010 took exception when Khalifa announced that he’d be releasing an LP with the same name a few months later. There was some back and forth on Twitter, but eventually Wiz and the OF spitter were able to work it out when they randomly met in a Santa Monica, California, studio. “I knew he was gonna bring up the Rolling Papers thing, and it came up. It was cool — it happened a long time ago,” Domo said when he and the rest of Odd Future appeared on “RapFix Live” in March .
