They STILL Hatin’: Journalist Shares Racist Letter Sent To Her About Cam Newton

Journalist Posts Racist Letter About Cam Newton And Black People On Twitter Even weeks after the losing Super Bowl 50, there are STILL people mad at Cam Newton… Via HuffingtonPost Cam Newton received a lot of hate during his MVP season. Some of it was arguably a result of generational differences, but the racial factor certainly played a significant role as well. On Saturday, Newsday’s Jets beat writer Kimberly Martin shared some proof of that in the form a letter she received from a reader. The letter contained hateful, racist language about Cam Newton and black people in general. In the letter Martin posted to Twitter, slurs are tossed around a number of times along with horrible stereotypes and lazy comparisons. “…Do yourself a favor and stay away from them as much as possible.” #PostRacialAmerica pic.twitter.com/lb9jXDNYri — Kimberley A. Shots Fired: Jamie Foxx Calls Spike Lee ‘Shady’ And A ‘Hater’ For Criticizing Tyler Perry, Whoopi Goldberg And Django Unchained!

Jamie Foxx calls Spike Lee out! Jamie Foxx Calls Out Spike Lee For Comments About Django Unchained During an interview with the The Guardian, the ‘Django unchained’ star, Jamie Foxx, gave his opinion of Spike Lee, calling the 55-year-old director “shady” and “irresponsible.” Via The Grio reports: “The question for me is: where’s Spike Lee coming from?” Foxx said. “He didn’t like Whoopi Goldberg, he doesn’t like Tyler Perry, he doesn’t like anybody, I think he’s sort of run his course. I mean, I respect Spike, he’s a fantastic director. But he gets a little shady when he’s taking shots at his colleagues without looking at the work. To me, that’s irresponsible.” In recent weeks Django Unchained has faced criticism for its use of racist language, specifically the n-word which is uttered roughly 110 times. Lee claims the film is “disrespectful to my ancestors” and has refused to see it on principle. “American slavery,” he later tweeted, “was not a Sergio Leone spaghetti western. It Was A Holocaust. My Ancestors Are Slaves. Stolen From Africa. I Will Honor Them.” Former 2 Live Crew member Luther Campbell called Lee an “Uncle Tom,” and Dick Gregory, the legendary activist and comedian also lashed out at Lee referring to him as a “thug” and a “punk.” Is it fair to give Spike Lee the ho sit down?
