Remember when you heard about Seth Rogen’s plan to co-write and star in The Green Hornet and thought, “Man, that’s a terrible idea!” Then when the project added Cameron Diaz and Christoph Waltz, you wondered aloud, “What kind of fever dream is this thing going to be?” And, of course, you got the answer when Michel Gondry took over the reigns from chopsocky director Stephen Chow: The Green Hornet was one gloriously hot mess.
