Which Action Stars Aren’t Yet Attached/In Talks/Rumored for Expendables 2?

Earlier today came word that Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme might be joining Sly Stallone & Co. for The Expendables 2 (although the reported cast listing at Millenium Films now reads “TBA”). Now it seems Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis are onboard to reprise their cameos from the first film, with bigger parts this time around. (Expanded Expendables !) So let’s just take a minute and regroup: Who isn’t onboard or under consideration to join the beefy action sequel?

The 2008 holiday hit Marley & Me might not seem like an ideal candidate for a sequel since, uh, you know . But there it is, just sitting in my inbox: “Hear Marley Speak for the First Time in MARLEY & ME: THE PUPPY YEARS .” And it gets better .

David Lynch’s Debut Solo Album Crazy Clown Time Dropping on Nov. 8

When he’s not giving weather reports, bemoaning the debt crisis , and directing Duran Duran concerts , David Lynch is making music. Oh, and the occasional movie. His latest effort, a 14-track solo album entitled Crazy Clown Time (of course) features “dark” electronic pop songs on which he plays guitar, sings, and produces, with guest vocals by the likes of Karen O; it’ll be available in the U.K. and the U.S. on November 8. First Look at Charlize Theron in Diablo Cody-Jason Reitman Collabo Young Adult

After nabbing Oscar nods for their first collaboration, the 2007 indie darling Juno , screenwriter Diablo Cody (who won the Academy Award) and director Jason Reitman reprise their partnership in this December’s Young Adult , the story of a YA novel author ( Charlize Theron ) who returns to her hometown to win back her now-married high school sweetheart (Patrick Wilson). After the jump, get your first look at Theron traveling in a slightly less glamorous getup than we’re used to seeing.
