Khloe Kardashian-Lamar Odom Divorce Case: Will it Be Dismissed?!

Khloe Kardashian is running out of time to divorce estranged husband Lamar Odom or a judge will dismiss the filing, according to a surprising new report. As you know if you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online and its assorted spinoffs, Khloe has been apart from Lamar for a year and a half. At the same time, she remains technically married, perpetually in a state of flux and emotionally sandbagged by how things ended, yet won’t legally end. Khloe filed in December 2013, in the wake of cheating rumors, a confrontation with one of his various hoes and that bizarre Lamar Odom crack video . The basketball star never responded, however, and has been dragging his feet – while largely AWOL and MIA in life – in pretty much the entire time since. Fast forward to this week, and TMZ confirms that a document was just filed by the court in Khloe’s divorce, telling the reality star to move it or lose it. Unless she files the papers to seal the deal and make the split official, the whole case will be tossed and she’ll still be Mrs. Odom. Sorry, French Montana. View Slideshow: Khloe and Lamar in Happier Times It’s not like Odom can put the brakes on this simply by sitting on his ass (though he’s doing all he can in that regard). Khloe can seek a default judgment. In other words, she can ask a judge to finalize it, arguing that Lamar has had ample time to respond but has not done so. But Khloe has yet to do so. Despite rumors of Khloe and Lamar getting back together , family sources say she simply shelved the divorce because she got sick of thinking about it. She may need to rethink that non-strategy, though. It’s become major baggage, and not just mentally. Khloe and Lamar’s house sold for $5.5 million in 2014. That money, like the legality of their once-treasured union and the state of Khloe’s personal life, is in limbo. No one knows what do make of any of the above. The court wants to resolve the matter one way or the other soon, though. By the end of April, it’s put up or shut up time for Khlomar’s divorce. Stay tuned. Lamar Odom Crack Video

James Franco and Lana Del Rey: Hooking Up?!

Here’s one we probably should’ve seen coming. Two of the most self-important weirdos in entertainment might be hooking up and all we can do is hope that it doesn’t result in some sort of mega-hipster baby that pops out of the womb talking about bands you’ve never heard of.  Lana Del Rey has been on a tear since ending her engagement to Barrie-James O’Neill and it looks as though – like so many starlets before her – she may have fallen into the Franco trap. It’s a known fact that Franco will bang anyone not named Lindsay Lohan , so when we see a photo like the one above, we naturally assume that Lana and James are knockin’ boots and discoursing on existentialism together. On the left is Lana’s sister, and we have no way of knowing if she’s been able to able to escape Franco’s magnetic douchiness, but she’s not famous, so James probably literally can’t see her. Of course, rumor has it Lana is dating Francesco Carrozzini  but after escaping a stage-5 clinger situation with Barrie-James, we doubt she’s looking to seriously commit to anyone.  Difficult as it might be, we’ve gotta tip our hat to James if he managed to seal the deal in this situation. She might have an ego the size of her bee-stung lips, but she still looks like this: 11 Gorgeous Lana Del Rey Photos 1. Lana Del Rey: Hot on the Red Carpet Lana all glammed-up for a red carpet appearance. As always, she looks flawless.

Rick Santorum Sweeps To Three Wins in GOP Race

Former Pennsylvania senator now has 4 wins in his primary column. By Gil Kaufman Rick Santorum Photo: Justin Sullivan/ Getty Images Just as former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney was gaining a head of steam after winning two primaries in a row, he was dealt another major setback on Tuesday. The man who appeared to be back on track as the leading Republican presidential nominee was bested in the day’s three contests former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum. Following a convincing win in Florida
last week, Romney was shocked by losing to Santorum in caucuses in Colorado and Minnesota, as well as a non-binding vote in Missouri where no delegates were at stake. Santorum won Colorado with 40 percent of the vote to Romney’s 35, with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich in third at 13 percent and Congressman Ron Paul in last place with 12 percent; 33 delegates are at stake in that race. In Minnesota the gap was much wider, as Santorum rolled up 45 percent of votes to 27 for Paul, 17 for Romney and 11 for Gingrich. According to unofficial results, Santorum handily took the Missouri vote with 55 percent to Romney’s 25 and Paul’s 12; Gingrich failed to make the ballot in that state. Santorum won every one of Missouri’s 114 counties in a stunning rebuke of Romney. “Conservatism is alive and well in Missouri and Minnesota … Tonight was a victory for the voices of our party, conservatives and Tea Party people,” Santorum told his excited supporters at a St. Charles, Missouri victory rally. “I don’t stand here and claim to be the conservative alternative to Mitt Romney … I stand here to be the conservative alternative to Barack Obama.” In one of the most unpredictable GOP presidential primary races in memory, Romney has been unable to seal the deal and pundits concluded that the low turnout in all three of Tuesday’s contests signaled that the party’s base has not gotten excited about any of the candidates yet. Though Santorum now officially has four wins to his credit — he was awarded the Iowa caucus win following a recount
 — the real news was that Romney failed to seal the deal after campaigning hard in Colorado and outspending his rivals by a large margin. But with the campaign going into a quiet period for much of the month, Romney has a chance to reload and get his house back in order before the Michigan and Arizona primaries on February 28. The next big test will come on Super Tuesday (March 6) where 10 states will offer up more than 400 delegates. Check back for up-to-the-minute coverage of the primaries and stick with

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Calls Lack Of ’50/50′ Kiss ‘Horrible’

“It’s a travesty,” actor jokes to MTV News about not locking lips with Anna Kendrick in the film. By Amy Wilkinson Anna Kendrick and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in “50/50” Photo: Summit Entertainment Over the weekend, audiences laughed (and cried) along with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen in the heartfelt comedy “50/50,” loosely based on writer Will Reiser’s real-life battle with cancer. ( Spoilers ahead! ) Gordon-Levitt’s thoughtful portrayal of 27-year-old cancer patient Adam takes him on a journey from diagnosis to recovery, breaking up with girlfriend Rachael (Bryce Dallas Howard) and sparking a new relationship with therapist-in-training Katherine (Anna Kendrick) along the way. The budding romance is only teased, however, as the two never seal the deal with a kiss. It was a purposeful omission, the film’s writer and stars said at the “50/50” premiere last week in New York. “We very much resisted them kissing,” Reiser told MTV News. “The movie is not a love story. It’s about a guy’s battle with cancer. If it turned into a love story at the end, we would be betraying what the movie is about. That kiss is the start of another movie.” Kendrick, in fact, was relieved she didn’t have to smooch Gordon-Levitt, as they’d become good friends after weeks of filming together. “The studio wanted to see us kiss at the end, actually. We were thinking about just trying it as an option,” she explained. “Joe very wisely stood up and said, ‘If we give it to them as an option, they will use it.’ So we just decided not to do it, because it really just didn’t feel right. And I was relieved, because I had known Joe for too long at that point. It’s too weird once you think of someone as a friend to be like, ‘OK, I guess we make out now?’ ” But Kendrick probably shouldn’t share that sentiment with Gordon-Levitt, because as he told it, he was pretty bummed he didn’t get to kiss his leading lady. “It’s a travesty,” he said with a big grin. “It’s a horrible injustice, and I’m writing a letter.” Check out everything we’ve got on “50/50.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .
