Because I am pretty sure he emerged from some smoke filled Senate backroom where Republicans get together to decide how to slow down the Democratic agenda at every turn after being told that since he was on his way out of the Senate he needed to “take one for the team” and act like a complete asshole while his GOP comrades acted all innocent and confused. “What? Senator Bunning is blocking this vote? Why, whatever would possess him to do such a thing? I swear I cannot imagine.”
