The bizarre feud between 50 Cent and his son Marquise dates back to last year when Father of the Century candidate Fiddy unleashed a profane tirade against his then 16-year-old son. 50 Cent: I Wasn’t Invited to My Son’s Graduation! 50 continued his streak of top-notch parenting this week by skipping his son’s high school graduation, presumably to count his bullet wounds and reminisce about the days when he was relevant in the rap world. Fortunately, Marquise took notice of his dad’s absence and called him out on Facebook: “Yea, I broke down,” Marquise wrote after the ceremony. “I was really excited to see my pops at my graduation today but he never showed up. My sister and mama is always there for me just know that you wasn’t. I did it without you!” Understandably not pleased with being publicly called out as a terrible parent 50 immediately responded to his son’s emotional post. Okay, so he had his PR people respond for him. Still he claims he had a good excuse: Sources close to the rapper tell TMZ that 50 wasn’t invited to the graduation . In fact, they say Marquise’s mother, Shaniqua Tompkins intentionally prevented 50 from receiving information about where and when the ceremony was to take place. The feud between Marquise’s parents goes back several years, and 50 Cent even accused Shaniqua of kidnapping Marquise in 2008. Sigh. Sad situation.
