Jimmy Kimmel will really need some parenting tips now: The late night host and wife Molly McNearney welcomed their first child together in California last night, Kimmel’s rep has confirmed to multiple outlets. Kimmel himself then added via Twitter: “Congratulations to my beautiful and very tough wife Molly on delivering our baby girl this morning. Thanks for all your kind baby wishes – turns out, not ALL tweets are mean!” HA! That’s a reference to Kimmel’s winning, ongoing sketch ” Celebrities Read Mean Tweets .” The talk-show host has two children – son Kevin, 20, and daughter Katie, 22 – from his previous marriage. And McNearney has a sense of humor, too. After having the baby, she Tweeted: “Kids, don’t do drugs. Until you have a baby. Then do ALL OF THEM.” Celebrities Who Welcomed Babies in 2014 1. Meet Simon Cowell, once forever the Bachelor, now the doting dad. The music mogul took to Twitter on June 19 and shared one of his sweetest snap shots yet of his son Eric, who seems to be enjoying a bath at four months old. With the proud papa himself doing the honors! Check it out: Eric, whose mother is girlfriend Lauren Silverman, comfortably rests in a baby bath chair while looking up adoringly at his father, who’s loving every second. The 54-year-old Brit captioned the pic simply: “Bath time!” Back in May, Cowell posted a series of pictures of Eric, quipping: “Very handsome like his dad.” In an interview with Extra , he gushed, “I was born to be a dad!” Who would have guessed he was such a softie. Kelly Clarkson Gives Birth to Baby Girl!!

Kelly Clarkson has finally popped. The singing sensation gave birth to a baby girl this past Thursday, her first child with husband Brandon Blackstock. “Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!! :),” she Tweeted. This is the first baby for the 32-year-old Kelly, who shared the news this morning. Brandon has two kids, Savannah and Seth, from his first marriage. Kelly and Brandon tied the knot in Tennessee last October. Clarkson has been very candid about her pregnancy, revealing she was having a baby girl before giving birth and talking openly about her weight. “Everybody calls me fat all the time, so I can’t wait to have a reason, instead of everybody just being a jerk,” Kelly joked after announcing her pregnancy. As for shedding the baby weight starting this week? “I’ve never been Gisele Bundchen, so ain’t nobody expectin’ that! I like to set [low] standards so people don’t expect a lot,” the star cracked. Then there was this tweet earlier this month: “Okay my baby girl needs to come on out ASAP. Mama is tired, swollen and miserable hahaha!” She rules. Congrats to the happy new parents! The former American Idol judge and X Factor producer welcomed a boy named Eric into the world on Friday – and we’ve got the photograph to prove it! The first-time father and girlfriend  Lauren Silverman posted the following image of themselves and their two-day old baby online today, as not even Simon himself could think of anything negative to say about it. “I never knew how much love and pride I would feel,” wrote Cowell as a caption. One of the most beloved couples in Hollywood welcomed their first child into the world this weekend. Yes, it’ a girl for Emily Blunt and John Krasinski! The former Office star made the exciting announcement himself over Twitter today, writing: “Wanted to let the news out directly. Emily and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our daughter Hazel into the world today! Happy bday!” The couple hosted a baby shower in December that included such guests as Jennifer Aniston and Amy Adams. They were married in July 2010 and Blunt confirmed her pregnancy this fall. Big news for Simon and his boo thang. Simon Cowell Welcomes Baby Boy Now that all the shadiness is out of the way…they can enjoy their bundle of joy. According to TMZ: Simon Cowell is officially a father … his pregnant GF Lauren Silverman has finally popped in NYC. 36-year-old Silverman just gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Eric after Simon’s father at Lenox Hill Hospital — after Simon flew across the ocean from London to be by her side for the delivery. As we reported, Lauren went into labor early this morning and Simon hopped on a plane as soon as he heard. The boy is 54-year-old Simon’s first child and Lauren’s second — she also has an 8-year-old son with her ex Andrew Silverman. Congrats again to the happy couple. WENN

Fox Cancels The X Factor

The X Factor will not mark any spots on the Fox calendar next year: It has been canceled after three seasons. The American Idol-like competition never created a Kelly Clarkson or a Carrie Underwood. Can you name a single champion? Despite big names such as Britney Spears and Demi Lovato behind the judging panel, it never garnered significant ratings, either. The third season finale only drew 6.2 million viewers. “I’ve had a fantastic time over the last 12 years, both on The X Factor and American Idol ,” said executive producer and judge Simon Cowell in a statement, adding: “And apart from being lucky enough to find some amazing talent on the shows, I have always had an incredible welcome from the American public (most of the time!). Last year, for a number of reasons, I had to make a decision to return [for the first time in four years] to the U.K. version of The X Factor in 2014. So for now, I’m back to the U.K. and I want to thank FOX for being an incredible partner and I also want to thank everybody who has supported my shows. America, I’ll see you soon!”
