Jeremiah Ratliff Cut From Bears After Threatening Staffers’ Children An NFL baller has been cut from the team after an aggressive outburst where he told team staff that he was The Devil and felt like killing everyone in the building . Via MailOnline : Former Chicago Bears defensive lineman Jeremiah Ratliff threatened team staff and claimed to be the devil the day before he was cut from the team, according to a suburban Chicago police report released on Friday. Ratliff also said ‘felt like killing everybody in the building’ and he wished staff member’s children would die, the Lake Forest police report dated October 21 said. It said an officer responded when someone at Halas Hall called police that day to report that 34-year-old Ratliff was ‘very angry and irrational’. He was also seen that day having an animated discussion with general manager Ryan Pace in the parking lot outside of Halas Hall. After Ratliff was driven home by someone else, the Bears decided to cut the four-time Pro Bowler, according to the Chicago Tribune. The Bears cut Ratliff on October 22. No charges were filed against Ratliff and he has not returned to Halas Hall, according to Deputy Chief Karl Walldorf of the Lake Forest Police Department. Coach John Fox was said Ratliff’s release from the team was a standard personnel move. ‘Again I’m a football coach. I’m not a psychologist,’ Fox told the Tribune. . ‘I don’t do all that.
