Exclusive: Kirk Frost’s Alleged Baby Mama”s Paternity Case Grinds To A Halt

Jasmine Washington Said Kirk Frost Seduced And Abandoned Her And Baby The woman who said she gave birth to married reality star Kirk Frost’s baby son has seen her paternity case against him come to a standstill. Jasmine Washington sued Frost in January to prove he was the father of Kannon Mekhi Washington and to get him to support his son. Washington said she and Frost enjoyed a secret relationship where he encouraged her not to work, and she became his kept woman. He gave her a living allowance and even gave her a car to drive as an incentive to stay with him, according to court docs obtained by BOSSIP. Washington said Frost fathered her baby son but abandoned both of them when she ended their relationship. Now, Jasmine said it’s time he steps up and pay child support as well as her legal fees. But BOSSIP has learned that the case has stalled because Washington apparently hasn’t been able to find Frost and serve him with her complaint. The legal situation has become so dire for Washington that she asked a judge to hold a hearing about Frost’s lack of service next month. Washington’s lawyer did not respond to BOSSIP’s request for comment. Frost also didn’t respond to our request for comment. Washington, who made her debut on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” earlier this week, told co-stars, Yung Joc and Karlie Redd, that Frost was her son’s father, but Frost denied even knowing her to his long-suffering wife, Rasheeda.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s Scientology Film Gets Indefinitely Postponed

Looks like Jeremy Renner’s schedule just got slightly less complicated. According to the actor, Paul Thomas Anderson’s much-anticipated Scientology film The Master — which would have starred Philip Seymour Hoffman as a cult leader in the vein of L. Ron Hubbard — has been thrown into development hell. “I was really bummed about that,” Renner told the print edition of Total Film . “It really kind of stalled because when we were rehearsing — Phil, Paul and myself — we kept coming up against a wall that we couldn’t overcome. Or at least Paul couldn’t overcome.” Don’t worry: You can overcome by watching There Will Be Blood again. [Total Film via The Playlist ]

BP Crews Have Removed the Blowout Preventer on BP’s Ruptured Oil Well in the Gulf of Mexico

New Orleans, Louisiana (CNN) — Crews removed the cap from BP's ruptured Gulf of Mexico oil well late Thursday afternoon, a company spokeswoman said. The operation was the first step in removing the blowout preventer — which failed spectacularly in April, triggering a deadly explosion and oil spill — said BP spokeswoman Jessie Baker. Officials plan to replace the blowout preventer with a new one, a major step toward a final fix. But the effort to permanently seal the ruptured oil well has stalled because of turbulent seas. “We've run into a weather window that's got us in a hold,” said retired Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen, the government's point man on the oil disaster. “If we can get to the blowout preventer sooner rather than later, we will do that.” BP announced the postponement of the procedure on its Twitter page Monday. The operation was delayed last week as engineers tried to fish out pieces of drill pipe stuck inside the blowout preventer. Removal of the device needs to be done carefully, officials have said, because the blowout preventer may hold valuable forensic evidence as to why it failed April 20, triggering the explosion that killed 11 rig workers and caused the massive oil disaster. Allen said teams are working closely with joint investigation groups, engineers, scientists and the Department of Justice to ensure the machinery is handled correctly. The well has been capped since July 15, stopping the flow of oil. added by: EthicalVegan
