Teen Sends Valentine’s Day Candy To All The Girls In His High School An Oklahoma teenager is making headlines for dishing out candy to all 1,076 girls in his high school for Valentine’s Day. The boy named Dan Williams worked all summer to save up money for the holiday task. KFOR.com reports: Flowers, candy, and public displays of affection.  It’s supposed to be the most romantic day of the year. But Valentine’s Day can be hurtful for those without a special someone. At Edmond Memorial High School, there are no lonely hearts this year. “All the girls were surprised this morning,” Laura Pitcock said. All 1076 female students were surprised with candy and cards. “He wanted to stay anonymous, but I have a feeling a good deed like this is going to get out,” Sarah Cameron said. Secrets are hard to keep, especially in high school.  It didn’t take long for the Bulldog student body to learn who was behind this random act of kindness. Dan Williams is the secret Romeo. “To know that someone cares about them, that’s the best feeling in the world I think.” Williams worked all summer to raise enough money for his Valentine’s Day surprise. His good deed is creating a tidal wave of love on campus. “Even if it’s just for a day, it really means a lot,” Molly Feigel said. What a sweet kid! Dan’s gotta be THE MAN at that school now.

Interesting: Harvard Students Fail Vote-Deterring Louisiana Literacy Test Used To Disenfranchise Blacks

Only in Amerikkka Harvard Students Fail Near Impossible 1964 Louisiana Literacy Test Via DailyMail A group of Harvard students were recently asked by their tutor to sit the 1964 Louisiana Literacy Test – a notorious document with confusing questions that was used to stop black citizens from voting. Just 50 years ago, states in the South asked voters who couldn’t provide proof of a fifth grade education to pass the test in order to be eligible to cast a ballot. The test was intended to disenfranchise African-Americans, who in order to pass had to correctly answer all 30 questions in 10 minutes. Despite their Ivy League pedigree, none of the students managed to pass the test and their reactions as they struggled to make sense of the obtuse questions was filmed. You know that isht is…f***in’ ridiculous. Image via YouTube/Harvard

Jesus Take The Wheel: Three Injured After Kindergarten Kid Brings Loaded Gun To School

How the hell does a six-year-old get his hands on a loaded gun? Three elementary school students were injured when a loaded gun that a classmate brought to school went off during lunch. Houston ISD officials say a six-year-old boy brought a loaded handgun to Ross Elementary School on Bay at Jensen in northeast Houston. The kindergarten student had the gun in the cafeteria when it fell to the ground and accidentally discharged during the lunch period around 10:20am. Three kindergarten students were either grazed by the bullet, or injured by shrapnel. They were taken to area hospitals. A six-year-old boy and a five-year-old girl were each wounded in the foot. Another six-year-old boy was wounded in the leg. None of the wounds are considered life threatening. Their parents have been notified. Concerned parents have been flocking to the school to check on their children. HISD police are investigating how the child, a six-year-old boy, obtained the gun. Where were this kids parents when he got hold of that gun? Thank God no one was killed. Source
