The Sundance Film Festival – or Skindance as we call it- has wrapped up in Utah, and we have all the nudity reports in from our intrepid Skin Skouts! The real shocker this year proved to be the freaky German flick Wetlands (2014) which features graphic nude interludes and plenty of- as our Deutsch friends would say- the shizer . The film’s star Carla Juri makes her outrageous nude debut indulging in filthy paraphilias, switching bloody tampons with her pals, eating splooge pizza, and masturbating with various vegetables. All of this spread out over 18, that’s right 18, nude scenes. See the trailer for Wetlands here For the more faint of hard-on, another film getting big buzz is Gregg Arak i’s adaptation of the novel White Bird in a Blizzard (2014), starring Shailene Woodley and the ever luscious Eva Green . Sadly, there’s no nudity from Eva, but Shailene is fresh off her nude debut in The Spectacular Now (2013) and gamely strips down again to give you Woodley with three boob-baring scenes. See the trailer for White Bird in a Blizzard here There’s also a number of wholesome nude scenes showing up in the indie lineup, like the absurdist lesbian comedy The Foxy Merkins (2013) where Lisa Haas shows her avocados as a down-on-her-luck prostitute. The Norwegian drama The Sleepwalker (2014) is a psychological horror flick with Stephanie Ellis and Gitte Witt playing increasingly competitive sisters. Fortunately they both go breasts out so you can judge the mam-ily resemblance yourself. There’s also mumblecore director Adam Wingard ’s latest offering The Guest (2014), which has a welcome visit from a topless Tabatha Shaun . Appropriate Behavior (2014) has Desiree Akhavan exploring her sexuality in several boob-baring escapades. The Iranian vampire romance A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (2013) has neo-noir knockers in the bath from Sheila Vand . And in the most disappointing release of the festival, Christina Hendricks co-stars in John Slattery ’s directorial debut, God’s Pocket (2014), but only shows off her compelling cleavage. Don’t worry though, Sophia Takal is there to ease the pain with her T&A.

Snoop Dogg unveiled a new name and a new film at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and now plans are firming up for its theatrical roll out. The documentary, Reincarnated , which follows the hip hop star’s evolution to a reggae singer, will bow in select cities March 15th. VICE Films and Snoopadelic Films will release the doc, according to THR. In Toronto in September, Snoop Dogg, whose actual name is Calvin Broadus, talked about transitioning to his new raggae-centered alter-ego, “Snoop Lion,” though he was emphatic that “Dogg” was alive and well. “”I’m Snoop Motherfuckin’ Dogg till the day I die,” he said. “But at the same time when I’m making my reggae music I’m in the light of the Lion.” Reincarnated follows Snoop’s journey to the birthplace of reggae, Trench Town, Jamaica, which once ground zero for Bob Marle, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer. In the doc, Snoop recalls his beginnings in Long Beach, CA to international fame and his transition to “Snoop Lion.” [ Source: THR ]
I missed Stoker at the Sundance Film Festival , where the buzz was decidedly mixed, but based on the first GIF posted the below the jump, Chan-wook Park ‘s thriller looks like it may be the second movie of that last year that stars Nicole Kidman and features a weird urination scene. Unlike The Paperboy , in which Kidman pees on the face of Zac Efro n to treat him for a jellyfish sting, Mia Wasikowska appears to be the one shaking the dew off her lily, so to speak. That’s an educated guess, though because all that’s seen in the GIF are a pair of saddle shoes and a puddle. Fox Searchlight is posting these clips — and correspondence depicting memorable lines from the movie — at letterstoindia.com , (Wasikowska plays India Stoker in the movie, and the website helps establish why, as the trailer shows, she’s going to be a barrel of fun by the time she’s an adult. Jessica talked about the movie’s theme divorce and it’s effect on children and how the movie deals with the serious subject but still keeps a light hearted feel.
Lindsay Lohan can’t catch a break these days. Last week, her new movie The Canyons was rejected by the Sundance Film Festival, and now South By Southwest (SXSW) has reportedly followed suit. According to The Hollywood Reporter , “quality issues” was the hilarious reason cited, with one source labeling the Bret Easton Ellis film “a monstrosity.” Good or bad, the recent New York Times feature entitled “Here Is What Happens When You Cast Lindsay Lohan in Your Movie” did little to help the film. The paper describes the “chaos” surrounding the often- drunk Lindsay Lohan , from $46,000 hotel bills to erratic behavior and days-long disappearances. Director Paul Shrader recognized the controversy surrounding Lohan, citing her lead role in the indie project as the reason for the movie’s delayed release. “Intense reactions to Liz & Dick and the Times article have made us realize there will be blowback once The Canyons is publicly screened – for good and ill,” he said. “That’s the nature of anything involving Lindsay.” The official plot synopsis for the film, also starring James Deen , is “a contemporary L.A. noir … about the dangers of sexual obsession and ambition.” Lohan is one of a group of stars in their 20s. “One chance meeting connected to the past unravels all of their lives, resulting in deceit, paranoia, cruel mind games and ultimately violence.” Its release date is still TBA.
