Instead, director Adam McKay (whose political essays often appear at the Huffington Post) took the opportunity to illustrate the rampant financial corruption of America in a Rage Against the Machine-scored animated interlude.

According to the LAT , it comes in a scene where the deceased DJ A.M. is spotted manning the turntables. “”We tried to make it respectful, and for people who know him, they’ll get a kick out of it and for people who don’t, it will sort of slide by without much notice,” said director Jon Favreau, who dedicated the film to A.M. in the closing credits.
