Move over McKayla Maroney . Tommy Lee Jones is here to show you what it means to truly be unimpressed by something noteworthy. Among the highlights of last night’s Golden Globe Awards, Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig presented the trophy for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. But while everyone at home and everyone in attendance laughed uproariously at their attempt to praise the nominees – for movies they apparently never watched – Jones looked more angry than entertained. Paranormal Activity 4 directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman say that the ideal horror movie is like a party at the theater, and the one movie where you want the audience to talk back. That shared communal excitement is indeed one of the highlights of the Paranormal Activity experience, though Hitchcock and Co. might violently disagree . At last night’s NYC screening Joost and Schulman (who also directed Paranormal Activity 3 and the controversial documentary Catfish ) talked about the changes they’ve made to update the Paranormal Activity franchise — including the addition of Xbox Kinect-vision — and what it’s like to make their name in the horror genre. Katherine Jenkins Moves Audience, Leaps to Dancing With the Stars Lead

Whoever Katherine Jenkins is, she’s pretty awesome! More than a few Dancing With the Stars viewers probably had that thought Monday, as the Welsh opera singer surged past the entire field – even Latin heart throb William Levy – to claim sole possession of first place again. The theme of the night was the “Most Memorable Year” of the contestants’ lives, and an emotional Jenkins, 31, dedicated her waltz to her late father. She reeled in the big points, and stirred big emotions, as she and pro partner Mark Ballas, danced to Josh Groban’s song “To Where You Are.” Watch: Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas – Waltz (DWTS Week 3) Her devotion and attention to detail – technical and emotional – was one of the highlights of the night by any measure.
