Is it just us or is it a little ironic that “thirsty” a** Rihanna is promoting bottled water? Pop star Rihanna is spearheading a new campaign for international charity UNICEF. The Umbrella singer is one of four celebrities who are taking part in the Tap Project – offering fans the chance to win a collection of bottled TAP water. Other stars joining the 23-year-old are Disney queen Selena Gomez, country superstar Taylor Swift and Entourage actor Adrian Grenier. The project encourages fans to sign onto the UNICEF Tap website and donate $5 towards the cause. Once fans donate they will be entered into a competition to win ‘The Ultimate Deluxe Platinum Celebrity Tap Pack. The Pack features four limited edition bottles of water from Gomez, Rihanna, Swift and Grenier. Each celebrity has their face etched on their own bottle with the word Tap printed on it. The website markets the water with the slogan, ‘Rihanna, now collaborating with her kitchen sink.’ It also makes a tongue in cheek statement about the price. ‘Only $5 to win some ridiculously famous water,’ it says. ‘The Ultimate Deluxe Platinum Celebrity Tap Pack (Limited Edition) includes bottles of real tap water from celebrities more famous than you,’ ‘Contribute to the UNICEF Tap Project for a chance to win this luxurious and desire collection of water from the most famous celebrities in world history. ‘History.
