Fresh off of your Hulu screens on Wutang: An American Saga, Dave East is getting back to the music. The Harlem rapper is readying the release of his debut album Survival, which drops November 8th 2019. East rolled through Hot 107.9 and chopped it up with Reec. They talked about his great performance as Method Man, his new album, how the impact of having his father around help him become a better parent and person and how he a was reluctant hustler that didn’t love the game.
ATL Native Shameik Moore came by Hot 107.9 and chopped it up with Reec about his the upcoming Hulu series Wu-Tang: An American Saga where he portrays Raekwon. The series premieres Sept 4th.

The series was created and written by The RZA and Alex Tse (Superfly) and The RZA and Method Man serve as executive producers. Ghostface Killa, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, GZA and the Estate of Ol’ Dirty Bastard also serve as consulting producers on the show. Earlier this month , Modern Family co-creator Steve Levitan took to Twitter to discuss the ever-growing rift between showrunners and Hulu: namely, without an adequate ratings system or business model, Hulu and other web streaming outlets (like his own network’s ABC. com) are costing him and other producers money.
