When tabloids and gossip sites report on the Duchess of Cambridge’s siblings, it’s usually Pippa Middleton who’s the center of attention. And of course, these days, Meghan Markle’s obnoxious siblings are spilling the tea to any outlet that’ll give them the time of day. So it’s no wonder that Kate’s perpetually low-key brother James Middleton often gets overshadowed. But to be fair, it often seems as though James is intentionally eschewing the spotlight. In the early days of his sister’s fame, the 31-year-old understandably attempted to cash in on his newly-marketable last name. Of course, he did so in bizarre fashion by launching a marshmallow company (?!?!) called Boomf. James held the title of Wonka-in-Chief at Boomf (?!?!?!?!), but alas, the fluffy venture was not long for this world. Fortunately, James remains one of the most well-connected people on the planet, so it wasn’t hard for him to line up another sweet (pun intended) gig. These days, James lives on a Scottish estate owned by Pippa’s husband, James Matthews , where he works as a guide and host for visitors. Matthews previously invested several million dollars in Boomf. The situation is further evidence that when you’re as well-connected as James (Middleton) you really can’t mess up. This week, James made his Instagram page public and revealed to the world that he lives an idyllic life surrounded by cute animals. Compare that to when your average peasant loses a bunch of his in-laws’ money on a dumb investment and receives nothing but a thorough ass-kicking for his troubles. But to his credit, it seems that James does actually put work in on his brother-in-law’s estate. In addition to his hosting and caretaking duties, Middleton has trained several animals to work in the UK’s Pets as Therapy program. “Proud of Ella [for] becoming a PAT dog this year,” James wrote. “Animals can provide a sense of calm, comfort, or safety and divert attention away from a stressful situation and toward one that provides pleasure.” So the guy’s not exactly lighting the world on fire as a mashmallow mogul. He’s still living an enviable life and doing important work. And he’s still vastly superior in every way to the moron Markles. Of course, that’s true of just about everyone who’s currently drawing breath in the UK. View Slideshow: Pippa Middleton Wedding Dress: All the Photos! All the Info!
Late last year, Modern Family star Sarah Hyland revealed her second kidney transplant and shared that she had been experiencing suicidal ideation. Now, speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, she is elaborating on that experience. Sarah even explains how she fought back against the overpowering desire to end her own life. As we have reported, Sarah Hyland's health battle is more like a health war, made up of many individual battles. As she notes to Ellen, she has undergone 16 surgeries. Sarah adds that she has received two kidney transplants. She also has endometriosis, an extremely painful condition. A couple of years ago, her body went into rejection of her transplanted kidney, forcing her to go on dialysis. Sarah has also been plagued by gout, a condition in which agonizing crystals form, often on the joints of the hips. All of this was while she was filming Modern Family . Sarah opened up to Ellen about her constant agony and medical trauma nearly drove her to take her own life. “At the time I was 26, but after 26, 27 years of just always being sick and being in chronic pain every single day,” Sarah says. “And,” she continues. “You don’t know when you’re going to have the next good day, it’s really, really hard.” “I would write letters in my head to loved ones of why I did it,” she says, referring to contemplating suicide. “And,” she continues. “My reasoning behind it, how it was nobody’s fault.” “I didn’t want to write it down on paper,” Sarah adds. “Because I didn’t want anybody to find it.” “That’s how serious I was,” Sarah Hyland says. She admits that she came “very, very, very close” to ending her life. Sometimes, a person experiences a life change that helps them avoid acting upon suicidal ideation. But Sarah had to be her own hero. “It ended up being myself that got me out of that,” Sarah reveals. “I had to do it on my own,” Sarah explains. “I told myself I had to do it on my own.” She shares a tip that could help others save their own lives. “Just saying it out loud helped immensely,” Sarah reveals. “Because,” she continues. “I kept it to myself for months and months at a time,” “I didn’t want anybody to know that I was that close,” she explains. “Because if they knew,” Sarah adds. “They would try to persuade me.” “Every person with their anxiety or depression or if you have suicidal thoughts, every individual is different,” Sarah is quick to note. What worked for one person might not work for another. “So,” she continues. “I wouldn’t just rely on everything that I say.” “I’m just sharing my story,” Sarah emphasizes. “But,” she concludes. “I think talking to someone and saying it out loud really, really makes it sound almost ridiculous and it puts it into perspective.” Sarah's reasoning makes a lot of sense. Sometimes a problem, whether it's a relationship issue or a programming bug or a case of writer's block, has a solution. There are times when all that the person needs to do is explain the problem to another person in order for the solution to occur to them. In Sarah's case, she is saying that speaking about her suicidal ideation helped her to dismiss the idea of actually ending her life. She has so much to live for. There are millions of Americans with chronic pain who, thanks to reactionary laws and policies, are struggling to get effective painkillers. We hope that Sarah's brave words can help them and others.
Audrey and Jeremy Roloff are no longer cast members on Little People, Big World. But this doesn't mean you've seen or heard the last from the former TLC personalities. Far from it, in fact. Aside from penning a memoir and constantly updating their social media feeds, Audrey and Jeremy will be coming out with a podcast . They announced this big step several weeks ago, but didn't reveal the name of the planned podcast…. UNTIL NOW! Audrey has written a lengthy Instagram post in promotion of the endeavor, including with it the highly-anticipated name. So, what are you waiting for?!? Find out below! 1. Audrey Builds the Hype… She opened the Instagram post that confirmed the name as follows: “As Jer and I were talking about the kind of content that we gravitate to the most, it’s always the behind the scenes stuff. We love when people share the whys and hows of what they do and the struggle behind their success! We want our podcast to feel relatable, real and refreshing. We want it to inspire you, challenge you, relate to you, and defintely make you laugh” 2. Fair Enough. Go On, Auds… “so….we are calling our podcast … BEHIND THE SCENES,” she then announced. Yup, that’s it. Just “Behind the Scenes.” No need for any confusing puns here! 3. Is There an Instagram Page for It Yet? Yup. Go ahead and follow @behindthescenespodcast if you so desire. 4. What Can Listeners Expect From It? Teases Audrey: “We are going to share the messy, honest, unfiltered and not so curated parts of our life. We are going to share the behind the scenes reality of OUR life, AND the lives of the people who inspire us the most!” 5. What Else Can Audrey Say About It? “We are talking you behind the scenes of our social media feeds, blogs, and ministries. We are going to talk honestly and openly about relationships, family, faith, business and whatever we are learning about, fighting about, or laughing about lately. We’re going to share our failures, struggles, and embarrassing stories.” 6. Come On Over. Be Our Friend. “We hope this podcast will feel more like an invitation to our dinner table,” continued Audrey. “We’ll share what we are learning, who we are learning from, and our roses and thorns – aka highs and lows – from the week. Think of this podcast as a bunch of bloopers with some truth bombs sprinkled throughout.” View Slideshow
At this point, we think it’s safe to say that the addition of Bristol Palin to the cast of Teen Mom OG hasn’t panned out quite way producers expected. Bristol was supposed to be a massive ratings magnet, a fact that’s evidenced by the fact that despite being a newcomer, she already gets paid more than any of the other moms . But thus far, audiences have proven mostly indifferent to Palin. There are many theories as to why this might be: Perhaps too much of the show’s target demographic is too young to recall Bristol’s rise to fame during the 2012 presidential election. Or perhaps they simply don’t care. Maybe those who said there was no need to tinker with the cast or replace the fired Farrah Abraham were right all along. Or maybe the show has simply run its course and it’s time to call it quits. Whatever the case, producers are still hoping that the choice to add Bristol to the cast will eventually pan out — and they’re doing everything they can to make that happen. On this week’s episode, viewers were re-introduced to Palin’s first infamous baby daddy, Levi Johnston, and drama ensued immediately. If you’ve been watching the show, you know that Bristol has talked a mountain of trash about Levi in her first few episodes. Bristol has described her relationship with Levi as “rocky” and accused her ex of not being a “solid” father figure in the life of their 9-year-old son, Tripp. She even claimed that Levi never watched Tripp overnight until the boy was 4 years old. Now, Levi’s current wife, Sunny Johnston, is coming to her husband’s defense in a major way. Johnston says that while Bristol is technically correct in her claim that Tripp never spent the night in his first years, she claims Palin is leaving out one important detail: The boy never spent the night with Johnston because Palin allegedly wouldn’t let him. “I asked Levi, he said that right after Tripp was born for a while. And then he wasn’t allowed to have him overnight,” Sunny wrote on Instagram following this week’s episode. “Then when they were engaged when Tripp was one-and-a-half [he] had a few weeks of overnights,” she added. “As long as I’ve been in the picture: Levi was never allowed to have Tripp overnight until the court ordered it when he was around three despite trying to be there for all the years prior.” One fan asked Johnston if she gets along with Bristol, and Levi’s bride was refreshingly candid in her response: “Okay I’ve gotten this a lot so I’m going to answer,” Sunny wrote. “Honestly, I never know what to expect so that’s hard to answer. I just pray for Levi and her to always keep striving to have a better co-parenting relationship for Tripp. “It’s never her and I unless I’m alone with Tripp,” Johnston added. “Always Levi and her, and every once in a while through a group text about Tripp.” So it sounds like we may be in for serious conflict between Bristol and Sunny. At this point, that’s about the only thing that could save Bristol’s career as a reality star. View Slideshow: Bristol Palin: Dakota Meyer Has Ditched My Son… and It Sucks!
Fair warning: this post contains a Modern Family spoiler . Whether or not it's a major spoiler is a matter of some debate. Modern Family 's co-creator promised that, in Season 10, a character of significance would die . On Wednesday night's episode, that happened … sort of. See (and here's the spoiler), the “major character death” was DeDe, Jack's ex-wife, the mother of both Mitchell and Claire. DeDe is not a main character — she's just related to a bunch of them. She did not appear in even a guest role in Season 3, Season 5, or Season 6. Modern Family fans took to Twitter to express their outrage over all of that hype having been built up for nothing. 1. Modern Family killed a character Don’t worry — it’s not anyone you know. It’s DeDe. 2. Here is DeDe, in case you forgot Here she stands beside her son and her son-in-law 3. People did a double take When you hear “major character death,” you expect to AT LEAST recognize the name immediately 4. Fans called bull Of course, we’re glad that the lead actors kept their jobs, but still … 5. This is a great reaction image Nobody has time to get worked up over an occasional guest character’s death 6. This person warned their own followers That’s a spoiler, but maybe not the kind that people cared about View Slideshow
The big Modern Family news last week was that one of the characters from the show is going to be killed off… I know Modern Family news not for being a fan of Modern Family, but because I saw it on another site. I only realized that Ed Harris from Married with Children was on the show, and when asking my wife, she was blown away that I had no idea about this fact…because I like to stay ignorant, it makes the heart grow founder or some shit. My money is on Sarah Hyland – who has a terminal disease in real life, that has got her at least one new Kidney….because her behavior, slutting herself out the last 6 months or year, seems to be that of a girl being told she’s got a year to live…and her show is just pre-empting it, so they don’t invest in scripts for next season, cuz she’s a nice dying girl. The kind who gives us what we want. Can’t wait for the sex tape. JOIN THE NEWSLETTER YOU ASSHOLES! The post Sarah Hyland Got Them Titties On of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .
There are plenty of 90 Day Fiance stars out there, and not all of them stay with one of the show’s many spin-offs. Some go off and live their happily ever afters. That is what Jason Hitch and Cassia Tavares were doing, more or less … but that is no longer the case. The couple has filed for divorce. What’s more is that this is not even the first time that they’s begun the divorce process. Jason Hitch was 39 years old and from Florida. Cassia Tavares was 24 and is from Brazil. A few years back, 90 Day Fiance viewers saw their engagement through to the end, even though Jason is 15 years older and, frankly, struck many as being an insufferable and controlling know-it-all. Now, Jason tells RadarOnline about why he filed for divorce from Cassia on September 7. “A successful relationship is communication, physical attraction, and doing whatever it takes,” Jason begins, in what viewers familiar with him may imagine is a patronizing tone. “Right now it’s time to go in different directions,” Jason declares. “I think we’ll remain friends. She knows I have her best interests at heart.” Jason may be the kind of guy who drives past a lemonade stand and starts listing problems with the business acumen of actual children, but he is quick to shoot down the idea that Csssia just wanted U.S. citizenship. “She did not come here just to become an American citizen,” Jason affirms. “She had a good life in Brazil,” Jason explains. “She was about to finish college. She didn’t have to marry me.” Cassia has graduated here in the U.S. and he does not believe that she will be deported, given how long they were married. That said … one never knows. Jason says that the Army is sending him away. “I’ll be deployed from nine months to a year,” Jason announces. “The deployment wasn’t a factor in the divorce.” Jason explains his divorce: “If there is indecision, you can’t build a foundation on that.” He also insists that, though he filed the papers, his split from Cassia is mutual and “uncontested.” “There will be no alimony payments,” Jason claims. “No fighting over anything.” We’re not sure how that will happen, unless there was a shady pre-nup or unless the divorce will include one lump sum. Jason also filed for divorce from Cassia in January of this year. “I did everything I could,” he lamented to RadarOnline at the time. “I took her to every major city in the country,” Jason said. “We went to Vegas four times. I paid for resorts to stay for weekends. We saw every show and concert, hung out with celebrities.” “I had expectations from her and she wasn’t fulfilling them,” he said vaguely. “She wasn’t communicating with me what they were. She would not talk. I had to beg for attention. It was humiliating.” In April, Jason spoke up again: “I still love her. I don’t want a divorce. I love her and I want to take care of her. What kind of man would I be if I quit this relationship?” It’s unclear what problems they were having. It is possible that Jason was doing for Cassia what he imagined she wanted. Sometimes, spouses can’t give each other what they really want. Of course, in January of 2017, Jason was arrested for domestic violence after police spotted an injury on Cassia’s arm. “Jason … grabbed [Tavares] by her left arm, leaving a mark,” the police report reads. “Jason then began screaming at [Tavares] to the point [Tavares] was in fear and dialed 911 for law enforcement.” That sounds scary. All things considered, it sounds like a divorce is the best thing for these two. View Slideshow: 90 Day Fiance Couples: Who’s Still Together?
Most people have been on a horrendous date or two in their lives. Maybe the guy conveniently left his wallet at home, or you made reservations at a steakhouse before finding out your date’s a vegetarian. But no matter how many boring or awkward nights you’ve been forced to endure, you can probably say that no one ever forced you to find a babysitter just so you can sit next to them during a class or tort reform or some similarly boring BS. The photo above was posted on Derick Dillard’s Instagram page on Wednesday. He captioned the pic: “Glad my favorite study buddy @jillmdillard was able to come to class yesterday! You’ve gotta find alone time (no kids) whenever you can! Thanks @jessaseewald for babysitting!” Yes, Derick Dillard is in law school these days, and since men of the Duggar clan don’t do anything without the help of their women, he apparently brings Jill to class with him. Because every harried stay-at-home mom who homeschools her kids dreams of getting a night off so that she can sit there and take notes for her husband. Commenters on the pic were understandably curious as to why in the hell Derick would drag Jill along on such an incredibly lame “date.” The most likely answer, of course, is that Jesus instructed him to bore the hell out of his wife. As you may recall Derick has claimed that God wants him to go to law school . Presumably, this is so that he can fight for school children to be taught that the Earth is 6,000 years old and Jesus invented the AR-15 while feeding his brontosaurus. Anyway, Duggar men are taught from a young age that God wants them to be obscenely wealthy and if they’re faithful enough, he’ll set them on the path to fame and fortune. (Kind of goes against the many passages in the Bible in which Jesus condemns those who amass large amounts of wealth, but that’s a conversation for another time.) Conversely, Duggar women are told that their role in life is to be submissive and do as they’re told. Their purpose on this planet, according to the Duggars’ brand of fundamentalism, is to help their husbands get rich. And so, if Derick wants Jill to help him take notes in class, she would likely see that as her divinely-ordained duty. So we guess that her date nights will look a lot like this for the next few years. Hopefully, she’ll be able to hold onto that fake smile.
