Sleeping Beauty: Celebrity Nudity on DVD and Blu-ray 4.10.12 [PICS]

You don’t want to sleep on this week’s nude releases on DVD and Blu-ray, including Emily Browning ‘s Hall of Fame nude debut in Sleeping Beauty (2011), Jessica Brown Findlay flashing her IDs (that’s Incredible Dairies) in Albatross (2011), and Ryoko Watanabe all tied up as a housewife with an S&M secret in Debauchery (1983). American Crude’s Missi Pyle to Star in Porn Movie [PIC]

Oh, sorry, that wasn’t very specific. Missi Pyle, a character actress whose name you may not recognize but you have almost certainly seen in any number of Hollywood comedies ( Dodgeball , 50 First Dates , As Good As It Gets , and so on), has snagged a starring role in the upcoming (non-porn) movie The Porn Brat Pack. The film will chronicle the exploits of the “hedonistic, drug-fueled days” of a tight-knit group of ’90s porn performers that included transgender porn queen Karen Dior , drag queen director ChiChi La Rue, doomed porn stud Joey Stefano , and notorious bondage model/kinky bisexual switch Sharon Kane . Missi, being the long biological female of the bunch, has signed on to play Sharon,a corn-fed Ohio girl who went on to star in over 600 adult films, from 1978’s Service Entrance to 2010’s Affirmative Blacktion . Production isn’t set to start ’til this summer, but considering Missi already displayed her willingness to go nude in American Crude (2007), we’re hoping for a Pyle of nudity in this one. Gummo Director Takes on Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez for Spring Breakers

When you think of barely-legal Disney Channel celebs Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez , the first things you think of are sniffing glue, killing cats, and eating spaghetti in a filthy bathtub, right? Yeah, us either. That’s why we were surprised (to put it mildly) that Spring Breakers , starring Vanessa, Selena, and baby-faced babes Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine , is being directed by indie bad-boy Harmony Korine . Harmony put all of the above and more (like Chloe Sevigny ‘s boobs, left) into his provocative directorial debut Gummo (1998). And Korine hasn’t mellowed with age- Julien Donkey-Boy (1999) is a meditation on schizophrenia with a disturbing incest subplot, Mister Lonely (2007) stars a bizarre family of celebrity impersonators, and Trash Humpers (2009) is exactly it sounds like, a shot-on-VHS transmission from another galaxy where deviants in old-man masks hump garbage bags. So he’s a strange choice, to say the least, for a big-budget studio pic like Spring Breakers , currently filming in Florida and accompanied by a tidal wave of news coverage that usually reads something like ” OMG SELENA GOMEZ SPOTTED DRINKING WHAT WILL JUSTIN BIEBER THINK?!? ” So has Harmony sold out, or are we about to see a side (hopefully the front, but the side would do too) of these tween idols that we could never have imagined? Either way, color us SKINtrigued. Step into the weird world of Harmony Korine- or the squeaky-clean one of Selena Gomez , if you prefer- we’ve got ’em both here at MrSkin.com!

Playboy Hits the Big Screen with Hugh Hefner Biopic

Hugh Hefner is such a cultural icon, it’s not enough to have two different documentaries ( Hugh Hefner: Once Upon a Time , 1992, and Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist, Rebel , 2009) made about him: now Warner Brothers is gearing up to start production on Playboy, a biopic tracing Hefner’s journey from a puritanical Midwestern upbringing to the vanguard of the sexual revolution. If all this sounds vaguely familiar, that’s because Playboy was stuck in “development Hell” at Universal Pictures for years before Warner Brothers resurrected the property, with director Brett Ratner and actors Robert Downey Jr. and Hugh Jackman all attached at one point or another. So who’s swooping in to make Playboy a reality? Hollywood producer Jerry Wientraub, the man behind the Ocean’s Eleven franchise and The Karate Kid , who’s been married to singer/actress Jane Morgan since 1965…and living with his girlfriend Susie Ekins since the early ’90s. Sounds like these two legendary players have a lot in common. As Sarah tells the blog Fretts on Film : Bruce Fretts: What was it like making Bullet to the Head? Sarah Shahi: Oh, man, that was so fantastic. I play Sylvester Stallone’s daughter. I’m the only female lead in the whole thing. Bruce: What’s your character like? Sarah: I play a tattoo artist, so I learned how to give tattoos. I did an apprenticeship in New Orleans. And I was covered from my neck all the way down in tattoos. I had to do a nude scene. It was one of many firsts for me. But that’s nothing compared to Helen Hunt , who returns after five years of non-nude fare like Soul Surfer (2011) with a fantastically full-frontal turn as a sex therapist in The Surrogate .
